Kita just stood there, completely confused. "Er.....so which of you is my enemy now?" He laughed nervously, fidgeting with his hair.
He had never been confused like this in a battle; he had to hand it to Ikara, she certainly made battles interesting

Haruka looked at both of them. "Don't know, why don't you pick a side?" she said, almost angerly. He had, after all tried to kill her, forced her to see all of those terrible memories. She pulled up some of the water and had it ready to attack.

"Well first off...." He took control of the water Haruka had possession of, "I'll take that....."
He looked at Haruka, then he looked at Ikara who was standing with her fists clenched, glaring at him, "And now i'll just kill you both!"

Haruka glared, "So i guess it's a teaming switch..." She said to Ikara, as she pulled out her hand for lightning stike. She looked at Ikara out of the corner of her eye, "Unless of course you side with him and help him to kill me..." she added distrustingly.

Ikara raised her hands, "Hey....feck all to do with me....he's your problem....." She stepped back, her eyes flickering blue. "Im hungry...anyone got any eatables?" She smiled sweetly at the pair; as though nothing ever happened.
Kita just stared at her, rolling her eyes "That damn curse...."

Haruka noticed the sudden attitude change. She recalled this happening before. "Curse...?" she asked, intent to learn. She figured it had something to to with the strange colors that her eyes turned. "What curse?"

Kita sighed, "Haven't you noticed that Ikara and I have binary eyes...that is, both our eyes are different colours?"
Assuming that she had, he continued "Its a trait of our clan, but it's also a curse....well...to the females of the clan...." He pointed at Ikara who had begun trying to catch a rabbit that was hopping by "It causes schizophrenia - multiple personalities! You can tell which personality is dominant from the colour of their eyes. Normally, they are opposites of each other. Our aunt for example, could go from being suicidal and crying all the time, to laughing hysterically and living life to the full....."
He folded his arms, "doesn't take a genius to figure out what she got dealt", he gestured his head to his now playful sister

Haruka looked him in the eye. "And for the males?" she asked. She was eager to learn anything she could. She looked back at Ikara and couldn't help but snicker. The once murderous and cold-hearted Ikara was chasing playfully after a rabit.

"Nothing." He sighed, "We got nothing. Just the damn eyes. Not fair really as it makes for an interesting back story but....there's always the chance you end up like that" He pointed at his sister.
Ikara was still chasing after the rabbit when she tripped over a rock and fell. Looking at the graze on her knee, her eyes began to well up; Kita was sure she would cry.
"WHY YOU LITTLE!" She yelled, grabbing a kunai from her pocket and chasing the rabbit again, this time, the bloodlust in her eyes once again

Haruka sweatdropped. "No kidding..." she said with an annoyed look in her eye. This didn't seem like much of a battle anymore from her prespective. She looked at them both from the corner of her eyes, ready to defend if either struck.

"Kid.....you seem cool..." Kita told Haruka, his eyes fixated on Ikara "Unlike my sister, random killings dont amuse me.....you get outta here...this is our problem...."
He walked towards Ikara and picked her up by the scruff of her collar. She was nearly half the height of him. "You....." He flicked her forehead, "What's your problem?"
"Problem? You're the one trying to kill me!" She snarled
"I dont mean that. Why'd you risk the life of the one person who actually appears to give 2 hoots about you?" He pointed at Haruka.
This hit Ikara hard. He was right. Noone ever cared about her. Maybe she should just let him kill her; there was no point in living if you were going to be alone.

Haruka looked around and then realized he was pointing at her. By this action, she stayed. "Don't you dare kill her." she snarled. She didn't want anyone to die, regardless what they had done to her. It wasn't right, no matter the person. She hadn't even planned on killing Kita. Just knocking him out and handing him over the athorities.

"Whatever...." Ikara grumbled. She wriggled free from Kita's grip. "I couldn't care less about either of you anymore...." She scowled at them. "Im outta here..."
She disappeared into the distance, not looking back once.
"Man...you're lucky you didn't have a family...." Kita attempted to be funny but presumed he had probably hit a soft spot.

Haruka glared at him angerly, "Lucky? You think i was lucky?" she said angerly. He may have seen her past but he understood nothing. She turned away and started walking in the opposite direction.

[60 word rule! Lol....im such a hypocrit!]
"Hey! Dont turn your back on me...." He glowered at her, drawing a kunai. "Noone turns walks away from me without my permission!" He snarled, hurling the kunai at her. He took all the water from the atmosphere and allowed it to dance at his feet; if anything should attack him, it'd act like the Shield of Sand used by that kid who used to wander about his village. This idea was probably the only good thing to come out of Suna
