Kasuga sat down in the center of some trees and closed her eyes. She was going to try and meditate today hoping to refresh her strength from training. She thought of a nice place to be: She thought of palm trees everywhere and a waterfall. It calmed her active mind. Until she heard rustling in a tree branch. She opened one of her eyes and saw a squirrel on a tree branch. At first she ignored it and started meditating again, only to be hearing it rustle in the trees again. She kept trying to ignore it to meditate again, but it kept interrupting her. After many cycles of that, she lost her temper.
"Stupid squirrel!" she got out one of her kunai and searched the trees. If someone walked in and saw her like this, it would probably be very embarassing for Kasuga...

"IIIIEEEEE!!!!!!!" Tawainai shrieked, charging at a girl holding a kunai. She had been in the forest, playing with all of the squirrels like she does so very often, when this girl yelled at one of them and pulled out her kunai! "Don't hurt Cheeky! What did he ever do to you!?" Quickly, she grabbed Cheeky and took several shuriken out of the pouch on her right leg.

"AAAH!" Kasuga cried as she saw a girl charging at her. She jumped to the other side and grabbed several more kunai in case the girl summoned the squirrels to attack her or something, "Cheeky?! Who're calling cheeky?!" Kasuga got mad at the insult; she had no idea that the girl was actually calling the squirrel 'Cheeky.'

Tawainai growled. "The squirrel, duh! If I had a name for you, it'd be 'Stupid Squirrel Killer... uhm... Person!' Yeah!" She began to raise the shuriken, ready to attack. Cheeky ran up a tree to join Nutty, Mr. Squirely Pants, and Paul to get a better view of the fight.
'Pass the walnuts, please.' Said Cheeky.

Kasuga widened her eyes at the squirrels. She called them names? How weird... But she got out her whip and jumped on a tree branch. She got out some kunai and aimed for the shuriken that were about to be used, trying to get at the exact angle to knock them another direction.

"I really don't want to fight." Tawainai explained. "But I will if you even think of hurting my friends again!"
'Aww...' Paul whined. 'No fight?'
'Come on, Tawainai!' Mr. Squirrely Pants yelled. 'Kick her butt!'
Tawainai turned to the squirrels. "Sorry guys. You know I don't like to fight."
The squirrels groaned like three-year-olds when their parents tell them they can't have another candy.
Really, all of the squirrels talking sounded like little squeaks and clicks. But, because of Tawainai's... condition... she could understand them very well.

"Friends? You can talk to them? Sorry, I should probably explain," Kasuga put her kunai away, but in case the girl attacked her again, she kept her whip handy, "I was just meditating and minding my own business when a squirrel kept interrupting me; it's very annoying when rodents interrupt you like that," Kasuga tried to explain to the girl. Right about now, she thought the girl was insane.

Tawainai turned back to the girl. "Yeah... I can... can't you?" When she heard the rest of what the girl had to say, she scolded Cheeky. "You know you're not supposed to bother people! This isn't how I raised you! Apologize, right now!"
'I can't.' Cheeky explained. 'Other people don't understand us.'
"What do you mean?" Tawainai asked Cheeky.
'I mean.' Cheeky hesitsted. This might be a sore subject for Tawainai. 'You're not fully human. I thought you knew that.'
Tawainai's eyes widened. "What on earth could you mean? Of course I'm human!"
'Then why do you wear all of those bandages?' Mr. Squirrely Pants asked.
"Because... uhm... you guys already know that! But it doesn't mean I'm not human!" Tawainai then realized that the other girl was still there. Oh, gosh. This is gonna be hard to explain.

Kasuga widened her eyes. Who or what is this girl?
"Um, I hope I'm not being nosy, but....who are you and why can you talk to squirrels?" Kasuga then realized that this might be a touchy subject to her, so she introduced herself, "I'm Kasuga by the way, just plain Kasuga." she at least wanted the girl to feel more comfortable.

Tawainai laughed nervously. "I... uh... I think I should probably just show you." She glared at the squirrels, then motioned Kasuga to follow her. "Look what you guys have done. I thought you were me friends." She whispered to them.
'Sorry.' The squirrels said in unison.
Tawainai went into the woods, to find somewhere that no one else could see her.

Kasuga thought this was getting weirder. She followed the girl where she was going. Of course, she kept her guard up just in case this girl was dangerous or if she had a demon that she couldn't control. Kasuga shook the thought off.
"By the way, what's your name?" Kasuga was curious about her.

"Tawainai." She stated, then, stopped. "Here we are." She reached to her head and began unraveling the bandages covering it. "This may shock you. But, I don't want to have to lie about it." Once the bandages were unraveled, two black and orange striped ears sprung out on the sides of her head. "I have a tail, too. And paws."

"You're a.....tiger?" Kasuga tried to whisper about it that way no one would hear. But she couldn't help but be very surprised about Tawainai, "actually, I think that's pretty cool, but I'm still very shocked!" Kasuga tried very hard to keep her voice down. She would've never guessed Tawainai was a tiger! "Wow... were you born with it or is it a demon?" Kasuga was both shocked and curious. Kasuga knew it must have taken a lot for her to tell her secret to a girl that she's only had one conversation with. But she also looked around just in case anyone happened to walk by or anything. She didn't want Taiwainai's secret to be discovered.

Yuchii sat on a high tree branch to look at the sky only to be annoyed by several squirrels. Then she gets disturbed again by a girl attacking squirrels and another girl stopping her. Yuchii gets annoyed and hops to a different spot. Moment later she sees the same two girls and then sees one girl unravel bandages only to show she ears! Yuchii was surprised but didn't show a trace of it on her face. She could tell the other girl was shocked too. She decides to ignore thinking, "If either of them notice me then maybe I'll care." She sat on the branch deep in her thoughts.

"I was born with this. But, it only started to show when I was seven." Tawainai explained. "I covered it up, afraid that my foster family wouldn't want me anymore if I was... well... the way I am." Suddenly, she tensed up. "Wait." She held up her hand in a stop signal. "I sense someone's chakara! Who are you? Show yourself!" Wrapping the bandages back around her head, Tawainai hoped that whoever it was hadn't seen her ears.
