Yuchii sat at the top of a tree and concealed her presence. Then she sensed two presences. She looked down and saw a girl listening to music and the other dancing away. She thought, "Are they friends? Why do I care? It's not like I need friends." She stayed in the tree wondering if they could sense her.

Hitomi bounded through the trees, heading toward the ramen bar. She landed in an oak tree very close to a maple and looked down, there was a girl sitting under the maple tree listening to music. She attempted to jump again but when she looked up, she was face to face with another person in the maple tree. Hitomi took a sharp breath in, lost her balance, and fell from the tree, landing on her butt

Yuchii was surprised but didn't show it. A girl jumped right near her and then she fell landing on her butt. Yuchii focused the chakra to her feet and hung upside-down on a tree branch and asked, "Are you okay?" Then Yuchii thought, "Ugh, why am I being so nice?"

"Ugh, yeah, I think so." Hitomi replied. She stood up, brushing the dirt off herself then looking at the girl hanging from the tree. "Thank you." She said. "You just kinda startled me. I'm Hitomi, What's your name?"

Tawainai stopped. She sensed two chakaras, one right after the other. Let's just hope they're not enemies. She thought, now keeping alert, but continuing her training.
Jump, spin, throw kunai, land, left, throw shuriken. She practiced various patterns of movement, using several logs as targets. Kick, punch, cartwheel, throw target. The log crashed into the woods with a thunderous boom, making a few squirrels very angry.

Yuchii said to Hitomi, "I'm Yuchii Haruko. Sorry for startling you." Yuchii released the chakra from her feet and did a perfect 180 degrees flip and landed lightly on her feet. She then said, "Hitomi would you like to get some ramen with me since it's my fault you got hurt?" Then Yuchii notices a third presence. She heard a thunderous boom accompanied with squirrels scampering away angrily. Then she silently took out a kunai and tossed it in the direction of the sound and called out, "Who's there?"

"Sure I-" Hitomi stopped mid-sentence when she heard the sound. She pulled out a couple kuneai and looked at Yuchii.
"Should we go investigate?" She asked.

"Yes let's go." Yuchii replied still emotionlessly with that they rushed off to see what the disturbance was. Yuchii had a kunai in one hand and left the other hand free in case she needed to get her katana.

Oops... I shouldn't have done that. Tawainai slapped herself in the fore head. She ran to the squirrels and gave her apologies. Then, she heard two people coming to investigate. "Sorry!' She greeted them. "I didn't mean to disturb you. I was just training." She put her hands behind her head and laughed. "I guess I shouldn't throw logs."

"That's ok!" Hitomi replied. "It's a good way to train. I've never seen it done before, but it must help somehow. Are you using a jutsu to throw the logs or are you just throwing them?"

"Well." Tawainai explained. "I had to focus quite a bit of chakara into my hands to throw it. But normally, that would be my oponent and I wouldn't need to." A squirrel came out of the forest and climbed up Tawainai's leg. "Hey there, little guy! Sorry about before. I wasn't trying to hurt you." The squirrel now sat on her shoulder.
'Alright, but you'll need to help us gather the nuts we lost.' The squirrel said.
Omigosh! Did that squirrel just talk!? Tawainai stared at the squirrel in awe. "Uh... o-okay?" The squirrel wasn't really talking, Tawainai was just able to understand squirrels, though she didn't know untill now. Well, she still didn't know. She just thought that squirrels had gotten the ability to talk somehow.

You understood what the squirrel said, it wanted more nuts. Yuchii said, "I'll be right back." 5 minutes later she got back to the squirrel with over an arm-load full of nuts. Yuchii put the gigantic pile next to the squirrel and asked, "Is that enough?"

'Yes! It is! But I still think Tawainai should have to gather some, too. To make up for what she did.' The squirrel said.
"Yeah... okay..." Tawainai still looked puzzled and shocked. "Did you know squirrels could talk?" She asked Yuchii. That's too weird!!! I had no clue squirrels could talk!

Yuchii looked at Tawainai and saw that she was confused. Yuchii said to the squirrel, "Please forgive Tawainai. It was an accident. And hopefully she won't do it again. Plus if she got more nuts for you don't you think it would take too long to bring back to your homes? Some of your friends would be too tired and if an enemy attacked you would have less guard and would be perfectly good for an open attack."
Yuchii looked at Tawainai once again. Really inside Yuchii was a little surprised but she still showed no emotion on her face whatsoever. She told Tawainai, "Yes I understood what it said. Also, all animals can talk. They communicate with each other with their own sort of language. It's just up to us to learn what they're saying."

Hitomi watched in disbeleif. Yuchii and this girl were talking to a squirrel. They were talking to a squirrel. Hitomi was speechless, wide eyed, and mouth agape
