Mayaku shifted nervously under the girl's gaze. 'Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. I'm probably interruping someting.' She held her breath and waited for a reply. She jumped slightly as the girl's braid whipped around, narrowly missing her, and sighed in relief when she heard them say it was okay.
She smiled back and took a seat. "Thanks. I'm Mayaku Imagawa." she said in response to Korin's question. She looked over at the girl and asked, "What's your name?"

Tawainai sat ontop of the hokage mountains, her favorite spot. You could see the whole village from here! The sky was her favorite part. She could always find a few birds flying high up, soaring without a care in the world. 'How peaceful.' She thought with a sigh. Her stomach growled, ruining Tawainai's 'quiet time.' "Food!" She smiled and ran down the stairs, which built on the side of the mountain, into the village. Then, she skipped merrily up the street to buy some ramen. "I swear, Naruto's gotten me addicted to that stuff!" She said out loud, finding herself a seat.
"Hello, Tawainai! Back from your mission already?" The ramen shop owner asked, smiling. "I'm guessing you want your usual?"
Tawainai nodded and grinned to both questions.
"Okay, then. One Tawainai special, coming up!" He laughed.

Kappatsu's burgundy eyes scanned the woods and sighed.
"Good I'm done with training for today"
She smiled softly and walked towards the ramen shop before she went to the library to check out books on healing jutsus.
"After a long day of training I sure need to eat"
Kappatsu walked into the ramen shop and sat down next to a girl with long brown hair and dark blue eyes. She smiled at her before ordering.
"One spicy shrimp ramen please" She ordered.
"Coming up" The ramen shop owner said.

Shinju woke up with a bursting headache. Glancing over to her alarm, she saw that it was quarter past twelve already. "god how do i manage to do that everyday?" she sighed to herself. "Time to get up then." she turned herself to open her curtains to see the outside world. Opening them she got half-blinded by the sun. 'What a beautiful day, hmm  ' she thought to herself. After her morning ritual she got outside to train a bit. Heading towards the park she thought ' I don't really feel like training, just a laid-back-day today sounds better to me' While wandering through the streets of konoha she almost bumped in a rushing girl. Passing the ramen shop, she saw a bunch of people eating. One of them got hit by the braid of the other. Two of them were eating ramen, the other three sitting and doing nothing, probably waiting for their orders. |

Tawainai smiled back at the girl who had just sat next to her and directed her attention to the Tawainai special, which had just been placed before her. She stared in awe at her favorite dish, she ordered it at least once a day. "Yes!" She dug in. "I've been having 'ramen withdrawl' while I was in Sunagakure. Thank you so much!" Anyone else might have thought the Tawainai special was weird. To tell you the truth, it WAS weird. This particular bowl of ramen contained noodles, eggs, salmon, shrimp, bread, lettuce, rice, cheese, and wasabi. Tawainai basically stuffed her face for the next two minutes.

Masato ran to the ramen shop "Darn it, I'm late again." He ran faster until the shop was in view. "I'M SORRY SIR, I slept in and-" The ramen owner cut in.
"It's okay Masato, everything is running fine."
Masato's face flushed as he looked over and saw the people. He walked behind the counter and spoke. "I-is everything okay?" His face flushed more and he looked down to his feet.

Tawainai looked up from her nearly finished bowl. "You hired a new employee while I was gone?"
Ichiraku (I'm guessing that's his name because the shop's called Ichiraku's) nodded.
"That's cool." Tawainai smiled at the new comer. Then, she realized just how many people were there. 'He seems shy, kinda like me.' She thought, flushing as well and looking into her ramen with what appeared to be great intrest. 'It's too bad. A boy like him shouldn't have to be cursed with timidness.'

Masato had looked up through his bangs at the girl when she had smiled and he felt a little calmer and his face returned to it's normal color. He worked up the nerve to look up at the girl. "Hello, my name is Masato Shimizu, w-who are you?" His heart beat sped up a little as he tried not to do anything embarrising, and his face flushed again. His hand reached up to his sand headband on his arm...his nervous habit as he waited for a response.

Tawainai looked up. "Who, me?" That was a dumb question, of course it was her! The guy was looking straight at her for pete's sake! "Uhm..." She blushed a little. "I... I'm Tawainai." She gulped. 'I really need to work on my people skills.' She thought. 'I can only talk to people when I'm hyper!' She took notice of his headband. "You're... from Sunagakure? Cool, I w-was just on a m-mission there." Tawainai looked behind her, thoroughly studying the trees.

Her being nervous made him oddly calm. The redness in his face left once again but he still felt a little nervous. He looked down at her ramen and back to her. "Ummm...you should probably finish your ramen before it gets cold." He was trying to get her to turn back around and try to carry on a conversation with her. He had never met anyone else who was shy, and he didn't have any friends in this village yet. He then realized that he had to go to the academy to take the test. He looked over to Ichiraku, "Hey I gotta go take my test, you can handle everything right?"
"Yes Masato you go on ahead."
He looked back over to Tawainai. "I hope we get to me again, good bye." He ran off not waiting for a response.

'Oh dear, I didn't mean to seem rude.' Tawainai's brow furrowed as she watched Masato run off. She looked back to her ramen. 'I really should finish it... but I'm not really hungry anymore.' Reluctantly, she ate the rest of her ramen. "Thank you." She put her money on the table and got out of her seat. 'Painting sounds nice, right now.' She left for her apartment.

Numi watched the new employe and the girl talk, seing the poarkel in eack of there eyes a they spoke to one another.
' just another couple of love birds running around........' she thought as she wonderd what it was like. "Interesting" she said aloud.

Tawainai sneezed, the sudden movement nearly made her ruin her painting. "Someone's talking about me. I wonder why?" She shrugged and continued painting. The painting was going to be of a water lilly, once she finished. Each petal would be curved just so, lightly sprinkled with dew drops. A lilly pad would lay in the upper left corner, also with it's fair amount of dew. The water that both the lilly and the pad floated delicately on top of would be shimmering with the early morning sunlight. 'Yes, this will be a fine painting, indeed.' Tawainai thought with a smile.
