Mabuki ran through the city, screaming as he went. "I can't believe i forgot again!" This was totally out of character for him. He didn't usually go randomly running around town searching for a gift. But he had forgotten his own pupils birthday...for the third year in a row.
He knew she would probably chew him out if she found him scrabbling town for a last minute gift. He was also looking for her friends, to maybe get a bit of help putting together a party. He wasn't really the party person himself. So, he just had to hope and pray that her friends had better ideas and thoughts.

Kyo snickered."Hey dude...are you sane?'Cause you look a little...well...crazy...if I may say,"she said.Then she realized something."Wait....aren't you Haru-chan's sensei?Wow...real role model,running around like an idiot like that,"she said,snickering more.Kyo didn't care that he was a higher rank than her,and would probably yell at her and/or report her insolence to the hokage.It happens a lot,actually.

Mabuki froze stiff. He head turned slowly in the direction of the voice. He smoothed back his hair and resumed his normal relaxed possition. "Yes, i am Haruka's sensei..." he said rather calmly. "And acctually i have a reason... I forgot her birthday." He sighed at his own stupidity. "I hate to ask, but would you mind helping me plan something out?"

"Sure!,"Kyo chirped.Her attitude had comepletly changed when she saw he wasn't going to yell at her."Haru-chan's one of my best friends!I'd be happy to help."Kyo thought about something."Let's throw her a party.We can have it at my house,and as my presant,I'll make her the cake.Does that sound like a good idea to you?,"she asked.It sounded like a good idea to her.

He nodded. At this point, anything was good. "Anyone else you know that could help?" he asked. He didn't want to disappoint Haruka, now that she had friends that could come to her party. "We'll have to get together some inviations as well... I know most of the names of her friends..." He started mentally naming them off. 'Kasuga, Santomoro, Kyo, Trinity, Kuzio, Mizu, Nero, Yuchii, Shizuke, Akiko...' he thought counting them out on his fingers.
