Kaemon's face was a shade of pink and his insides all in a jumble as Nikooru ran toward him. He scratched behind his head and in his head her cursed himself. What a mess.

"Well um...yeah I guess. I've got...nothing better to do so I guess it wouldn't hurt..." he said rather quietly and uneasily. He was getting very uncomfortable with the situation. He let out a sigh and his arm dropped back to his side.

"Look when IS the ball anyway?" he asked, his face returning to his normal shade of a pale flesh color and his voice growing to its normal tone. He began to walk away but then paused.
"Do you...want to walk with me?" he asked hesitantly. He knew she wouldn't leave him alone.

'Nothing better to do.' She replayed his words, wondering whether or not he really wanted to go with her, or just kill time at the festival. Looking down for a few seconds, Nikooru then blinked and listened to his next question. She remained silent and then thought for a few seconds. As he began walking away the girl whimpered softly and ran after him, tripping over her own feet as she did so but failing to actually fall.

Regaining herself, the kunoichi stomped clumsily next to him and took a huff of air, releasing it as she spoke, "yes," swallowing hard she shook her head and brushed the hair from her eyes.

"I mean, i-it's this weekend!" she stuttered foolishly, scratching her forehead and looking up at him with a blushing face. "Oh uhm, and y-yes," biting her lip again, Nikooru looked down at her feet, her hand still placed lightly over her forehead. She whimpered again and desperately tried to think of what to say.
