Hana sat on her favorite tree branch, looking at the comforting twilight. The wind gently brushed her hair back from her shoulders. She closed her eyes, somewhat enjoying the peace.
Strange. Usually evenings like this I actually have something to do. Then again, I have been in Suna a little longer then I should have been. Might as well attempt to enjoy the peace.
She felt her eyelids get heavy. She fought the sleep that was slowly overcoming her.
If I fall asleep, I might fall out of the tree. Who knows how mad my brother would be. But...It's so...peaceful...
Her eyelids slowly closed, and darkness surrounded her. The last thought in her mind before that was...
How boring.

Haruka was just swinging around that day, just for some fun. Just then she spotted a girl relaxing in one of the trees she was about to swing to. She decided to have a bit of fun and land on the branch above her.
When she was sure that she was on the nearest branch, she swung from it by her knees and hung upside down. As expected, she was directly abover her. "Whacha doing?" she said in a childish way, grinning.

Suddenly, Kagemi slipped from her spot in a overhead tree and fell, landing flat on her face. Her katana followed, plunging into the ground a few inches from her head. And only a few seconds later, her white-haired sensei fell as well, only landing with a bit more coordination. With his mask and his forehead protector over one eye, it was plain to see who he was...

"EEEEEEEEEEK!" Hana shrieked. She fell backwards. "Oh heck no!" She channeled a large burst of chakra to her feet, making her just barely hang on.
Crack
Her eyes widened anime style. "NO!" She skipped to the branch above, watching the previous one fall to the ground. She winced when she heard a dull thud. "And that could've been me..." She murmered. She looked at the girl and grinned sheepishly. "Well that could've been messy, huh?" Hana pushed some of her hair out of her face.

"Oh... yeah, sorry about that." she said, hopping down from her upsided down possition. She was a bit woosey from so much blood rushing to her head and stumbled on the branch. "Whoa..." she mumbled. She balanced herself by leaning against the trunk of the tree. "Sorry i startled you like that. Oh, i'm Haruka by the way."

Hana watched as the girl got down. Turns out her name was Haruka. "Nice to meet you Haruka. I'm Hanako, but I prefer people call me Hana, so...feel free to call me Hana." She grinned sheepishly. The truth, her grammer sucks today. She looked at the sky. It was getting darker with each passing minute. Hana smiled.
"I just love night time! It's so comforting with each and every star watching over you. And the moon," Her eyes softened as she unconciously touched her silver bangs. "Just has that brilliant silver glow. You know it?"

Kagemi leaped back up and grabbed the tree branch and hung from there. "Hey, people!" she said cheerfully, while her teacher stood up below her on the ground.
"Are you going to train or socialize all night?" he called impatiently.
"In a minute, Kakashi-san!" Kagemi pulled herself up completely on the tree branch. "I'm Kagemi," she said to the others, "And thats my sensei, Kakashi." She yawned. Down on the ground Kakashi pulled out his Icha Icha Paradise book, leaned against the tree and began to read.
"Ugh, him and his stupid book. I ought to steal it one of these days." She turned and looked at the dark sky. "The nights pretty, aint it..."

Hana smiled and nodded cheerfuly. "Sure is! I'm Hanako. But like I say to many other people, you can just call me Hana." Hana grinned. She looked at Kagemi's sensei's book. She twitched. That bright orange cover...the man chasing the woman...Her suspitions were comfirmed, and she almost fell out of the tree. "He actually reads that...that...I don't even know how to describe it, but it's bad enough seeing it everywhere in stores!" She sighed and looked up at the sky. It immediately calmed her.
She smiled softly. "I always loved the night time. It always calms me. What about you guys?"

Kagemi smiled. "Yeah, except when I have a cranky sensei preventing me from having fun..."
Kakashi looked up. "Hey!"
"Nothing!" Kagemi called down. She shuddered. "I think his book is...like...well....porn!"
"Don't make me come up there!" Kakashi yelled. Kagemi smiled.
"What'cha gonna do, hit me with your BOOK?" Quick as a wink, she whipped out a pack of matches, lit one, and tossed it precisely between the page os his book. "OOOPS!"

Hana laughed hysterically. She fell off the branch, to the ground, and just kept laughing. "Haha, ow, hahahahahaaa!" Whatever she did, she couldn't stop laughing. It was like a dream come true watching that book burn. She slowed to a stop and grinned. "That was the best. I needed that." She watched the book burn, and brought out a bag of marshmellows. She grabbed a stick, roasted the marshmellow, and shoved the white piece of fluff in her mouth whole. She held the bag up to Haruka and Kagemi.
"Marshmellows anyone? There's enough for everyone!" She froze. She spit the marshmellow out. "Blech! Tastes like ink! Whatever you guys do, don't roast them over the book!"

Kakashi looked at the charred, empty covers of his book like it was a dead, pet, while Kagemi laughed hysterically at her little antic. She too fell off the tree and landed with a thud inches away from her senseis foot. He stared at her like she had just drowned his mother.
"Oh, come on, Kakashi-san, its just a book!" She cried, still chuckling.
"That was my favourite book!" He cried, putting his foot on her back. She tried to struggle away but his foot was too strong.
"Im in the right mind to stop helping you train!" He said angrily.
"Fine, dangit, Ill get you a new stupid book!" He let her get up and she crossed her arms. "But only if you keep training me!"
The argument went on, and on, and on......

Kuzio silently and slowly slid down from the tree looking at the argument about the book, he had been observing this whole time, "Wow.." he said quietly and got down on a branch making a small littke twig crack sound, 'Hope they didnt hear that' he thought as he looked onto the scene before him.

Yuchii walked around and read a Make-out Paradise, the latest volume. Kami and Akiko always told her to stop but she never cared. She could always get a shipment and she would make the book stores sold out just so others would get annoyed. She walked around mindlessly, while reading, ignoring everyone around her. That included not noticing Kakashi when she passed him.

Hana heard a twig snap. She shrugged.
Probably an animal.
A girl then walked by with the Make-Out Paradise. Twitch. Twitch.
What has this town come to? Everywhere you turn, it was something Paradise! It's bad enough my old teammates had just started reading it, but now a girl?!
Hana shook her head, and wiped the rest of the ink taste out of her mouth.

Yuchii looked up and saw another girl. She put her book away and asked, "You probably think it's gross that I'm reading this right?" She looked emotionlessly at the girl. Yuchii knew the books weren't exactly the best but what could she do? She liked reading them so why care what others would think?
