I turned the flames aorund and shot them at her again. I could keep the flames going now for awhile since I hadn't used my chakra on anything else.
"You best come looking for me Yuchii." I said under my breath.
"Come on Shizuke, you can do it, I know you can." Yuo said as he watched Yuchii and me.
Yuuhi concealed his chakra and hid amoung a forest of trees not far away.
"Oh wow, Shizuke has grown up so much since I last saw her, I hope she's doing well." Yuuhi thought, watching me closely.

Yuchii turned again and left the flames fly past her. "This is good training for dodging things that could be thrown at me such as kunai and stuff..., she thought.
She would use this as training to dodge weapons or attacks that could be shot at her.
She remembered how her dad would give her dodging practice as a kid. Yuchii's dad would throw all kinds of things at Yuchii that ranged from kunais to fireballs and much more.
"So that training did come in handy after all..." , she thought how she had always thought of that training as useless and she was using it now! "Thank you father...", she thought as she continued dodging the fireballs.

I sent the fire at her from all directions, above and from the sides. I was going to burn her, so I could take her down.
"Amazing, she's never sued that technique for this long, it's very dangerous." Yuo thought. He was remembering the time he had tried to use the jutsu, and burned himself quite badly.
"Keep going Shizuke!" Yuo yelled.
"Yes, keep going." Yuuhi thought, moving closer towards Yuo.

Yuchii saw the fire coming from all sides and used Earth style to go underground.
Like her mom had said, when you can't go left, right, front or back then go down...
She waited for signs to know it would be safe to come back out. It would be the smartest thing to do.

My flames dived after her and came from above and below now. I was going to reach her eventually.
"Come on, even if I can get a small burn spot on on her I can get her." I thought.
"She's got the right idea, keep going." Yuo said outloud, he was thinking mroe than he was paying attention. Yuuhi grabed Yuo and pulled him behind a tree.
"Don't tell Shizuke I'm here, I want hr to focus." Yuuhi whispered.

Yuchii saw the flames from above and below. She let a small layer of her own black flames protect her and she let Shizuke's flames engulf her.
She looked like she was getting burned by the flames but really wasn't. She could've gone into the flames without protection since she was used to pain and torture.
She just protected herself so she wouldn't lose a future advantage from this battle. Always think ahead of the battle..., another thing her parents would tell her.

I still sat in the tree, making my flames hotter and hotter. I knew eventually I would get down to her skin, but it would be hard, she was very tough.
"Come on Shizuke!" Yuo yelled. He jumped up and down lightly, cheering me on.
"Go! Keep it up!" Yuo yelled words on encouragement.
"She's amazing, and she's so grown up." Yuuhi said to Yuo. Yuo nodded.

Yuchii stayed in the flames. She had always liked the heat for one reason or another. She could probably keep this up for a while but what point would there be in that?
She used Earth style and had dirt rise up and cover the flames. When they died down, she removed her flame shield and took a deep breath. "I need more taijutsu...", she thought emotionlessly.
So far, she didn't even break a sweat. She still had a ot of energy left. Luckily, she had been prepared unlike that day when she trained with Sasuke. She mentally sighed and thought, "Why wasn't I prepared for that day? Now he hates me and thinks I'm only like a little kid when he barely knows anything about me...wait...why do I care?!?!" She started to argue with herself before mentally slapping herself and thought "I wish he could see the real me right now..."
That's when she snapped. She felt like slapping herself. But outside she still looked calm and emotionless without a scratch.

I came after now, I was tired of waiting. I concealed my chakra as I did so and caught her off guard. I sliced opened her cheek and kicked her in the stomach.
"Come on! My grandma can fight better!" I exclaimed. I was just teasing, but I knew I'd regret it.
"Oh no, not the grandma thing." Yuo thought. He sweat dropped and sighed.
"Scratch the grownup thing." Yuuhi sighed quietly. Yuuhi always though I was adorable and childish and he still always did.

Yuchii healed her cheek without using much energy and got up. she wasn't affected from the kick and she licked off the blood that was originally on her cheek and than on her finger.
She always had a craving for blood.
She sent an icy glare at Shizuke. She dusted herself off and in one swift motion, there were shurikens flying at Shizuke from behind. She made it so they made no sound.
Her eyes were turning into a deeper shade of red that looked more bloody.

I pulled out the kunai and put chakra into it. I turned and quickly deflected the shuriken.
"Oh man, Yuchii wasn't kidding when she said she became a whole different person. I had to get out of there quick so I could move more. I dug up quickly and broke to the surface. I jumped to my feet and ran a few meters away.
"Don't run Shizuke, be strong." Yuo thought. The suspense was killing him.

Yuchii stood her ground and used chakra strings to pull her shuriken back.
She let them twirl around her fingers for a moment before putting them back in her weapon pouch.
She focused chakra into her hand and balled it up, into a fist. Then she looked toward the ground and punched it hard so the ground cracked. The cracks spread to where Shizuke was standing, forcing her to move.

"Oh crap." I mumbled, quickly leaping back. I leapt back and pushed myself off a tree and shot at her. I curled up in a small ball as I shot at her. I was going to hit her in her stomach. Just before I reached her I brought out my kunai and put my chakra into it. I put the katana to her neck and sighed.
"At least I know, I'm getting better." I said, panting a bit.
"I've got to catch up with her as soon as possible, I've missed so much in such a sort time." Yuuhi said outloud.

Yuchii took Shizuke's hand with the katana in it and flipped around so Shizuke was basically holding her katana to her own neck.
She had noticed the audience a while ago but simply ignored them.
This was a type of move people pulled on her when she trained when she was younger so now this was something she would be ready for. Yuchii had her hand near her own katana just in case she needed it later. She kept Shizuke's neck at a steady position and waited for what would happen next.

"Crap." I muttered. I now had my own weapon pointing at my neck. I looked around until I saw where I might be able to hit. I rasied my foot and kicked her hand sharply, hard enough that if her bones wee fragile I would've broken something. I pulled my katana to the side and aimed for her knuckles this time. I hit them hard with the side of my katana, purposely trying to break them so she couldn't use her hand.
Yuo groaned and shook his head.
"Ever leave yourself unguarded." he murmered.
"Just watch Yuo-san." Yuuhi said quietly.
