"GOOD!" me and Yukio yelled in unison. I fell back laughing. I had just yelled out in the middle of a public place and pretty much no one had stared at me. "That was hilarious!" Yukio exclaiemd, laughing along with me. "That's a bit odd Haruka, my father trained me, yet I still went to the Academy and learned, and took the Genin test like everyone else." Yuo said. He puled up his sleeve and the bandage from his wounds showed. "I wasn't a normal shinobi though, I was injured throught my life een as a child before Shizuke was born." Yuo said. "It was usually a broken arm or a sprained ankle when I was a child, but, Shizuke never was injured as a child, she managed to keep on her feet and keep herself going." Yuo said, looking over at me. He was still so impressed that I had made it to a young Genin, with only bruises and cuts.

"Well... actually, I didn't even start my training until three years ago." she explained, "The other seven years i lived in the village were at--" Again she stopped in the middle of her sentence. Looking down she finished, picking her words to describe it carefully. "My... umm... caretakers home..." The wasn't entiredly the truth, but she thought it was good enough.

"Three years ago?" I asked. I was shocked. I had begun my ninja training when I was three, the age at which my father began to teach my brother too. "My father began to train me when I was three!" I exclaimed. I began to pace around quickly, screaming to myself. "No Academy training? Only three years ago!?" I exclaimed loudly. "Chill Shizuke." Yuo said, looking over at me. "What do you mean by caretakers? And in what village?" Yuo asked. He was getting alot from Haruka now that he had started talking alot.

Haruka sweatdropped, "It's nothing to freak out about, Shizuke..." she mumbled.
Turning back to Yuo to answer the question she had hoped not to be asked, she said, "It was here, in Konaha. And my cartakers name was Hushigomo. They're a respected family here because of their accomplishments in the battle with the nine tailed fox." she sighed, "I worked there from the time i was five till i was taken into the care of my sensei three years ago."

"Yes it is!" I exclaimed. Now I was overreacting. "You've only gotten 3 years of training! And I've gotten like 9 or 10 years!" I exclaimed. "She'll chill out in a minute." Yukio said, laughing a bit. "The Nine-Tails." Yuo mumbled. Yuo had been only 3 when the Nin-Tails had attacked Konoha. "I was three when that happened, but why were they so respected? The Fourth Hokage was the one who sealed it away in the Naruto boy." Yuo said, looking out the window of the shop. "He was the one who should've been respected." Yuo mumbled.

Haruka shook her head at Shizuke and smiled, "I just don't understand why it's a big deal to her..." she mumbled to Yukio, hoping the comment wouldn't reach Shizuke's ear.
"Well, yes, the Hokage was the bravest man through that entire battle with the demon. But the Hushigomo family helped signifigantly. Even though they aren't the greatest people..." she blinked at what she had just said.

"She's concerned of everyone training, she thnks that everyone got many years of training, at least 6 years of training." Yukio said, still watching me pace around in circles.
"The Fourth should've taken 90% of the credit for that battle!" Yuo exclaimed. He had only met the Fourth once as a young child. "That man was everything to this village! If the Nin-Tails wouldn't have been sealed, everyone would be dead!" Yuo exclaimed. He banged his fists on the table. He was furious, his weak side was taking over.

Haruka looked up at him, a slightly angry look on her face. "Yes, he does deserve much of the credit, but that still doesn't mean that he did it alone. Many other people died in those battle, to keep that thing at bay." Having always been one to state her opinions in strond debates, she took slammed her hands on the table.
"And all i'm trying to say is that the Hushigomo's are a horrible family and i hate them!" she added. Again she felt like crying, remembering much pain and hardships that stupid family had put her through.

I stopped and looked at them. I was shocked that Yuo had yelled, he never yelled, at anyone. I put my hands on her shoulder, hoping she would fling her arm back and hit me. "Haruka-chan, are you ok?" I asked, holding her back so that she wouldn't attack Yuo and put her arm out place. "Yeah, Haruka-chan?" Yukio asked. "I understnad that Haruka, but the Hokage, a young man, someone who's life was put on the line for this village!" Yuo yelled, getting out of his seat. "If they were such a terrible family, then why din't you run! Run away!" Yuo exclaimed. "Yuo!" I yelled angrily. Yuo was getting out of hand, and Haruka wasn't ready for any fight.

Haruks ignored Shizuke and Yukio's protesting, breaking out of Shizuke's hold, "But he still couldn't have done it alone!!" She yelled back. They were making a scene, but she didn't care. He was really ticking her off now. "And don't you even pretend to think you know what i should have done! YOu don't know a thing." she glared at him, her good hand on the table to stable herself, "I tried, ok. I tried. And every attempt only lead to punishment: a beating with a sharp banboo stick. After a while, you're just as well trained as a show dog. When they say sit, you sit. DOn't you dare act like you know." Haruka was gasping for aim now from her long rant.

"Haruka! Yuo! STOP IT!" I yelled. They were gowing to hurt each ther, and I didn't want either of them in pain. "Yeah! Stop it you two! We don't want you hurt!" Yukio yelled.
"I know what I know! A beating isn't as bad as having your own father leave because of what you couldn't do!" Yuo yelled. He was so ticked it was hard to believe it was him. "I will dare to do anything!" he yelled loudly. He leaned over at her and put his hand on the hilt of his katana. "You aren't in any condition for a fight, so don't egg it on!" Yuo yelled. "STOP IT YUO! STOP IT HARUKA!" I yelled. I was prepared to pushed one of them to the gorund and hold them there and scream my heart out.

"Please i know that feeling too!" Haruka said, again ignoring the request to stop. She was too stubborn to stop this debate now. "Do you realize that my father sold me." She stopped momentarily, choking back tears at the memory. "He sold me simply because i was too much like my mother." SHe bit her lip, the tears sticking in her throat.

I screamed again. "STOP IT NOW BEORE I HAVE TO HURT YOU BOTH!" I yelled. I held back my own tears. This was just like my first REAL spar with Santomoro. I had been yelling for him to let me out with all my anger bottled up. I began to cry hard. I didn't want to hur them both, it would've torn me apart. "Then your father was a fat jerk!!" Yuo yelled loudly. He was being harsh now. "But that is no excuse to not have sucked it up and told your caretakers to leave you alone!" he yelled sternly. He was ignoring her tears and her request for him to stop yelling. He took another step forward and grasped harder onto the hilt of his katana.

Haruka tone suddenly changed from an angry debating tone to a calmer, sad one. "I couldn't... Back then, i didn't have any confidence in myself at all..." she sat back down slowly. Seeing Shizuke cry had snapped her back to normality. "I was only five, i didn't think it was bad at the time..."

I fell to my knees and wiped my tears away. "Shut up, before I leave, away." I said, tears still in my eyes. I remembered when I was five, I had never felt my fathers touch, unless it was stern, telling me to keep my head up and pay attention, or when it was pushing me under water so I would hold my breath forever. "Finally!" Yukio exclaimed. She was just as angry as I was. "Confidence is not found on the outside!" Yuo yelled. He wasn't giving up at all. "Your confidence comes from inside your heart, and if you can't find any confidence in your heart..you don't have any at all, and enver will." he said sternly, pulling out his katana. He rested the tip on the ground and glared at Haruka. "Your confidence is low." he said, still glaring at her.
