Time passed boringly as Haruka went about her daily chore of shopping. It was the only time she was aloud out of the house at the moment, considering her wonderful grounding, or, rather, house arrest, conviction. Mabuki could be so strict sometimes.
She sighed as she heaved up her bags again. The last week had been so boring after not seeing her friends, or meeting anyone new. It seemed that she knew everthing to around here.

Aimi walked the streets alone as usual. She saw a girl struggling with her bags and walked over to see if she could be of any help. "can i help u miss?" she asked hoping the answer would be no so she wouldnt have to interact with the stranger but she wouldnt mind if the answer was yes.

Haruka blinked uncertainly as she was approached by this kind stranger. She obviously wasn't from anywhere around Konaha, for Haruka knew everyone in town, even the eldest elders. "Uh... no no i'm fine..." she grunted, again heaving a bag in her arms. She had never been one to accept help and tended to be rather stubborn. "Where are you from?" she asked curiously.

"Oh im origonally from Kumo, but i was born in France we moved to Kumo when i was 10." Surprised at how quickley she answered the question and the girl didnt need to know she was from France. After all she probably wanted to be left alone so she could get back home to her family. "Well i should probably get going." she walked away with a disappointed look on her face. She thought if she hadent talked so fast and seemed so desperate she probably could have made a friend today.

"Hey, what!" Haruka called after the girl, finding her heritage very intreging. "I've only been to Kumo once. You don't seem as anti-social as most of the citizens..." she smiled. "My name is Haruka." she said, hoping that a self introducion might comfort and soften her up. "May i ask you yours?" she smiled, hopin that she could find something interesting to do with her day.

"I'm Aimi." she replied with a small grin. "The people of kumo arent that bad its just some of them are more shy than others, im shy too i just havent talked to anyone in awhile."36 she had not spoken to anyone in such a long while why was it so hard for her to come up with something to say when someone actually wanted to talk to her. "uhh...are you sure you dont need help with those bags?"

She sighed. "Maybe with one..." she said with a small laugh of defeat. "They are pretty heavy..." She had canned food and many meats and vegatables for Mabuki. He could eat so much; it surprised her that he didn't weigh as much as an obese person. "I suppose that Shyness would account for all of the... avoiding and such...." she laughed, remembering her last trip to Kumo.

"Well most of the people in kumo are... how can i put this... snobby but it just depends on who you talk to." she replied as she took one of the bags from harukas arms. She grunted a little when she held the bag by herself. She had greatly underestimated the weight of the bag. "You must have a big family if you need this much food, you couldnt possibly eat this all on your own? How many people do you have in your family?"

(lol niiiice mags... ^^)
"Well... " she said, a little depressed by the family comment, but trying to remain as happy as possible. "We're not exactly family. I live only with my Sensei, Mabuki-sama..." she explained as she began the walk down the street again towards her house. "He just eats so much. This is only a weeks worth of food for him." she laughed. "As for my family, i haven't seen them in years..."

(snow day ^^ whoot whoot)
"i'm so sorry, thats horrible." she said while trying to restrain from laughing after thinking of how big mabuki must be. "why do you have to get all the food by yourself? cant he come help you?" she asked sounding a bit angry at a man she hadent even met. "i havent seen my family in years either." she replied while reminissing on her past.

(lol i know. SO SWEET!!!)
"Well, he's busy with the Jonin counsel most of the time." She explained, hoping to calm her down after sensing tinge of anger in her voice. "I always do the shopping, and the cooking... and the cleaning..." she listed them off on her free hand. "He's just really busy... plus he can't cook for anything." she laughed, remembering the last time he had tried to make her chicken noodle soups. She had had to remind him to take it out of the can.

"Wow that's a lot of stuff to do everyday." she replied trying to think of the last time she did any house work. The last scrap of cleaning she did was when she was 9 and she helped clean up some juice she had spilt at her grandmothers house."I cant imagine having to do all of that work by yourself." "whats the jonin counsel anyways?"

Haruka shrugged, "It's not as bad as it seems." she assured her with a smile. "Actually, one becomes very accustom to it after awhile." she sighed at the reminder of how boring her life had become. Besides the strange voices she had been hearing, nothing was exciting or interesting. "As for the jounin consel..." she said, surprised that she didn't know. "It's the town consel of the highest ranked ninja. Mabuki is one of them."

"Sounds interesting." aimi replied even though it didnt sound the least bit interesting. They walked in silence for a few moments when aimi thought of some more things to ask. "So... what is there to do in this town. for the couple of days i've been here i've done nothing but walk around, get thrown out of stores and see mothers tell there children to not laugh at me." she said with a laugh. "where is your house its got to be close by now, hasent it?"

She nodded. "No. The house is just down around that corner." she pointed at the nearby turn. "And there's quite a few things to do around here." she added to answer her question. "There's the ramen bar, the book store, the Hokage face..." she thought for a moment. None of these seemed remotely exciting to her, being a 10 year occupant of this for saken village. "And once in awhile, we get an attack from and enemy ninja or something." she shrugged. It was a daily occurance for her as well.
