Althought the sun was shinning in that day, there was a slight breeze that made everything colder. Sasunari was standing in the top of a broken pillar, looking to the gates of the village. It wasn't something very interesting to do, but it was the only thing she could do for now. She sighed, bored. Although she was there because she wanted to, standing there all day without nothing else to do seemed a little bit too much, even for her.

Haruka walked into the Village hidden in the Clouds, a look of relief on her face. She'd finally made it. It had been a long journey. "Finally, some time off..." she mumbled to herself, feeling the cool breeze on her face. Mabuki sensei had told her she needed some time off, to figure stuff out, and Hidden in the clouds was the perfect place to do it.

Sasunari spotted a change in the environment she had watched until that moment. A girl, that looked to be more or less her age, had just crossed the gates to the village. She almost felt like laughing. Now more than ever, foreign people were arriving from everywhere. She guessed that someday Kumogakure would be a village of foreign clans.
That girl crossing the gates wouldn't have been much to botter her in a normal situation. But the guards of the gates were out, and she would probably be punished later if someone found out that she had watched a foreign enter the village and had done nothing. Keeping that in mind so she wouldn't feel temptated to withdraw, she jumped to the ground.

Haruka heard a thud as someone dropped onto the ground in front of her. She looked her up and down in at the girl in front of her. "Can i help you?" she asked suspiciously. She let her hand rest on her pocket, which had a note from Mabuki, a former citizen of the village, for anyone that tried to prevent her from entering. She had been forewarned about this, and was not too surprised.

"Sorry to bother but..." Sasunari stopped for a while, trying to organize everything on her head before she kept talking. It wasn't very usuall for her to talk to someone unknown unless they directed themselves to her, and she felt kind of weird doing this. "As the guards aren't here, you surelly understand that they will blame me if I let a foreign without authorization in. Can you show me your passport?"

She grimaced, "My...passport...of course..." She scuffled through her bag for a few minutes before she was able to find the small wallet-like book. She handed it to the the girl. She was prepared to give her the note if it was nessisary. "I hope there won't be a problem."

"I only have to check a few things, not a big problem." She said quietly, like if talking more to herself than to the girl. She looked it over very quickly, just to make sure there wasn't any problem with the passport's validations and such. While doing it, she was thankful that she didn't had to do this kind of things everyday. It was more boring than sitting in the top of the pillar.
"I don't see any problems so..." She handed the passport to Haruka, her left hand already on her pocket. "...Guess I can let you in with no problem."
She waited for Haruka to grab the passport, already thinking where to go or what to do next.

Haruka took the passport, thankful that she hadn't had to use the note. "Thanks." she said.
She looked back up at the girl, "You seem really bored." she observed, "Care to join me to do... something?" She didn't know much about the village. She hoped that this girl did, just as she hoped she would accept her invitation. She was, after all, sent here for a break.

Sasunari raised an eyebrow at Haruka. True she had met several strangers, many of them in that very same place, when the shinobi that guarded the village gates were out for some reason. But very few kept talking to her or pushing conversation after she said everything was in order. If she was reminding correctly, she was the second one to do it.
"Sure, why not?" She finally said, a small, faint smile playing in her face.

Haruka beamed, "You probably already know who i am from my passport, but i'll introduce myself correctly. I'm Haruka Kunimitsu." she said
"So, what's there to do around here?" she asked curiously. He stomach suddenly grumbled greedily. She sweatdropped. "Heh..Heh... I guess i'm a little hungry from my journey, so what's a good resturant around here?" she said, readjusing her question. "Oh, and i almost forgot my manners, what's your name?"

"My name?" Sasunari looked kind of surprised, but she should have guessed that she would ask something like that. It wasn't that weird after all, was it? "I'm Sasunari." She simply said, turning her back to Haruka and start walking to an avenue.
"The center of town is this way. Probably you'll find somewhere to eat there."

Haruka followed a couple feet behind her. "Thanks, it's good to meet you Sasunari." She looked around curiously. She had never seen such a village. But then again, she hadn't seen anyother villages besides her home in the Land of Tea, and Hidden in the leaves. She felt like such a stranger in this place. "So, do you live here?" Haruka asked trying to stike up converstion in the silence.

"Was it my accent that give it away or just the fact that I asked your passport near to the gates of the village?"She said, still facing forward, not allowing her eyes to wander around too much. Although her voice wasn't implying it, she had ment this as a "joke-like" sentence. As usuall, it didn't went so well as she expected.

"I thought so... sorry for asking such an obvious question." Haruka said. "You're a ninja from this village." she observed, "What is your rank?" She felt like these were such lame conversation starters, but figured she'd give them a try anyhow. She had moved up now, to walk next to her. It was alot less awkward.

Sasunari glanced at Haruka. She really seemed to be a nice person, and now she couldn't help but to blame herself for being so distant. Maybe it was time to break it down just a little. "err, you know... I'm in the middle of the path to become a Jounnin, and honestly, I just want to reach it so I can get out of here clean." She said, glancing around lazily. That wasn't really her favorite topic of conversation, but she couldn't really think of anything else to say. This was probably because during the last years she had only spoke to about three persons, never carrying to much about big speeches. "And you?" She finally asked, still without success in setting up relevant questions.
