Pushed aside like a rag doll, Haruka hit the wall of a nearby building. She rubbed her head, trying to ease her now growing headache. Looking up, Mizuki came into her line of sight, chewing nervously and shyly on her finger. "I... I don't know..." She laid her hand on the wall and pushed herself up, leaning against it, seeing as she was dizzy. "He said something about Kankuro and Ikara, something happening to them... I think he's just being paranoid..."
She shook her head, rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes. "Ikara and Kankuro are two of the best ninja in Suna. I doubt something could have gotten in their way during their travel."

"Yeah.....but they haven't contacted Gaara-sama at all since they left 8 hours ago," Mizuki looked in the direction Kita had headed
"They promised they'd call once they got a third of the way there. Ikara even took her cell....." She spoke softly and quietly.
"I was coming to look for you - your rooms ready and you've got an early start in the morning so i thought it'd be best if i took you back," She knelt down, picking up a coin from the floor. She was like a magpie; always attracted to shiny things.

Haruka drew her fist to her chin. "That is worrying... and knowing Ikara, she was definetly be prompt about calling Gaara..." She closed her eyes ponderingly. 'I hope Kita'll be alright...' she thought to herself before opening her eyes again to look down at her pink-haired companion. "Very well. Lets get going. I'd like to get some sleep tonight, though i doubt that will be easy knowing that Ikara and Kankuro could be in trouble."

Kita towered over the sleeping Haruka. Flicking her on the head, he smirked
"Hey sleeping beauty! get your scrawny little butt in gear, we're leaving already!" he taunted her.
Figuring he was likely going to get decked, he scurried backwards out of reach of her fist.

Haruka grumbled. She wasn't usually a morning person, unless she was traveling. She'd rather stay in the warm confines of the soft bed. She sat up groggily, glaring at him. Her hair stuck out in all directions. "Ha ha... very funny..." she said in dry sarcasm. Swinging her leg over the bed, she attempted to mat her hair down. Attempted meaning failing miserably.

Kita struggled to contain a giggle at the sight of the young ninja's hair.
"Here...." He reached into his backpack and pulled out a brush, tossing it to her.
"Notice anything?" He blatantly pointed at his newly dyed hair.
"Got bored" He smirked. "Want me to do yours before we leave?" He asked. He needed anything to preoccupy him from whatever troubles they may encounter on the way.

Haruka laughed nervously, picking up the brush that had fallen in her lap. Dying her hair was never something that she would even consider, yet she didn't want to be rude. "Ano... I-I think I'll keep my natural color..." she said, trying to sound as courteous as possible. She brushed gingerly through the rat's nest that was her hair.
"So, how did you get in here anyway, Mr. I-can-do-anything?" she asked, sitting up in her bed. She was curious as to how he had gotten entrance into her room. Obviously it was Mizuki that had let him in most likely; but then again, it was Kita, and it was always possible with that he had snuck in.

"I was kidding about the hair...." Kita rolled his eyes, "Like i'd waste my dye on yooo" he taunted.
"As for getting in......." He pointed at the room window. "I know Suna's bloody melting but don't leave your window wide open in a ninja village unless you want robbed!" He smirked.
"So you all set for your big journey? We've got another 3 day hike ahead of us......i don't see why we can't get an airport around any of the villages. We've got cinema's and wireless communications.....surely a plane isn't too hi-tech?" He whined

Haruka glared at him before retaliating, "Hey, just because i'm not used to the heat is no reason for you to rub it in..." She sighed, finally getting her hair back to it's normal straitness and tossing him back his brush.
"If only..." she mumbled about the idea of an airport. "Well, i've got my bag ready, and i think i'm good to go, as soon as i get dressed..." she was trying to hint for him to leave the room. But on the other hand, Kita was sort of... girly anyway.

"Whoa......" Kita backed towards the door quickly
"I don't have any qualms about you seeing me topless but.....yeah....your a chick.....things are a little different! There are laws against that kinda stuff!"
His voice raised an octave slightly as he thought about the rumours that could be spread. 'Sunagakure Hunter-Nin add paedophilia to wanted murderers list of crimes and other such headlines.
"Um...yeah...so...yeah....i'm leaving!" He shut the room door over and leaned against it, sliding onto the floor to await her getting ready

Haruka couldn't help but sustain a laugh. "Worked like a charm!" she exclaimed happily, hopping off of the bed and grabbing her clothing from a heap. Walking into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her, she slipped on her clothing quickly, checking her hair in the mirror one last time before finding it substancial.
Quickly, she grabbed her bag off the ground, stuffing anything that had gone astray on the floor back in. She opened the door of the room, hoping that Kita hadn't wandered too far. "Um... helloooo?" she took a step out.

Kita gasped as he rolled backwards as the door opened. Staring up at Haruka, he pouted
"I seem to spend a lot of time on the floor when your about....." He rolled his eyes.
"So you're finally ready....." He jumped back to his feet. "Good......Gaara called on my cell - he wants to meet us at the town gates"

She put up an appologetic hand. "Sumimasen!" she said quickly, "I didn't realize you were right outside the door. She cleared her throat, stepping out the door and shutting it quietly behind her. She readjusted the strap of her bag and threw it behind her.
"The town gate... got it." she said, mulling it over for a moment. She looked up at him and smiled. "Well, we best get going then."
