Waiting in the Sand

[Shizuke Tsukiyama]

I was shocked at what Kami had said about destorying whoever was outside. I slowly got to my feet and came up behind her.
"I just want to see who it is, I'll let you do the damage." I said as coldy as possible.
"I hope whoever is at the door can handle injuries." I thought. I looked at Yukio. Yukio moved closer to Akiko and shook her head.
"I don't want to hurt anyone." she said quietly. She grabbed Akiko's sleeve and hung on tight.
"Akiko-chan ,will Kami really destroy whoever is at the door?" Yukio asked.

Akiko looked at Yukio and than at Kami before turning her attention back to Yukio. "Yes...yes she really will, Yukio..."
Akiko sat near Yuchii more, dragging Yukio with her because Kami scared her a lot...she remembered the first time she met Kami, Kami almost killed Kuri who was with her, and Kuri was in the hospital for almost 5 months! She shivered at the thought. But luckily girls went to visit Kuri so he was happy either way because he still got to flirt.
Kami watched as Shizuke went to see who it was and smirked. Either way, the person was really unlucky today. She might decided not to kill them but she was still deciding on whether she should injure them enough to stay in the hospital for 2 months or more... She ran her finger lightly over the kunai, felling it's icy but smooth surface. "So, who is it?", Kami asked a bit nicer to Shizuke but venom clung to every word she said. She still had a look of iciness in her eyes.

[Shizuke Tsukiyama]

I trembled.
"I don't know." I said quietly. I could see the coldness in her eyes and I felt like turning back.
"No, I'm no chicken, I just hope that Kami doesn't do to much damage." I thought. I swallowed, and felt my hands shake.
"I'm ready to find out." I said.
Yukio gasped.
"I hope whoever is outside the door is going to be ok, I don't want them to be injured badly!" Yukio exclaimed quietly. Yukio was scared now, really scared. Tears dripped down her cheeks.
"Won't Yuchii stop her?" Yukio asked Akiko.
"Yuchii wouoldn't really let Yuchii kill someone, or injure them!" Yukio exclaimed.

Akiko looked at Yukio nervously before mumbling out, "Yuchii probably would let Kami kill someone...depending on who it is..." She mumbled something about a past experience while Yuchii laughed how Kami was acting. Kami continued to wait, hoping that the person outside would at least put up a slightly good fight when she found them and beat them to bloody pulp.

Yuri got free and kicked Kaito into the open and ran off. Kaito sighed and turned around to face the door then staring at the sky his purple eyes gleaming in it. Kaito decided to walk into Kami's house and sat in the middle of the room with everyone. 'Man I feel like something bad is gonna happen I can feel it and with Yuchii here man I'm boned.' He thought to himself staring at the ground his hair falling in his face. "Hey everyone." He said in a calm tone.

When Yuchii saw Kaito she got up walked beside Kami. hse shot an icy glare at Kami before asking Kami, "Do you mind if I take care of this?" Kami shrugged and replied, "Only if I get to help..." Yuchii sighed and mumbled, "fine..."
They both turned to face Kaito. Finally Kami noticed how determined Yuchii was to handle this herself so she sighed and sat on the couch saying, "You handle it then Yuch..."
Yuchii nodded and took out a kunai. She thought, "D*mn...I feel like beating the living h*ll out of Kaito but I have to consider what the negatives are...ugh...with everyone here maybe it'd be better if I didn't fight?"
Yuchii finally put her kunai away and said in an icy tone to Kaito, "I suggest you leave before I change my mind about beating the cr*p out of you....now...." She waited for is answer while Kami simply sighed. Kami knew that Yuchii didn't want to fight now because she was afraid of freaking Shizuke and Yukio out.

[Shizuke Tsukiyama]

I sighed when Kami and Yuchii didn't attack Kaito. Then I realized, I wanted to tear him apart for being such an idiot earlier with his bad stealth training. I turned to Akiko and whispered to her.
"Kaito was lucky Kami didn't break every bone in his body." I whispered.
"Yeah, Kaito weas lucky Yuchii didn't tear him apart in seconds." Yukio added. I looked at Kami still curious about why she was who she was.
"Akiko, have Yuchii and Kami been friends since they were kids?" I asked, trying not to let Kami hear me, but I knew Yuchii wouldn't let Kami hurt me.

Kaito headed towards the door but he stopped walked over to Kami pulled out a white case and gave it to her. Then he head out the door with a sigh. He simply walked away out of sight. 'I hope she likes that necklace....maybe it wasn't the right gift.' He thought remembering the necklace. It had a dark blue crystal with some smaller red ones on the side with a black woven string. Kaito thought about how long it took for him to make it.

Kami opened the box and saw a beautiful necklace. She held back a gasp and mentally, was surprised...it was beautiful but she didn't say anything, instead she tucked the box back into her pocket and decided the next time she saw him, she would give it back...if he had a new crush on her than he would be really unlucky because she only saw him as another guy she knew...she had no interest in love and she would make it her destiny.

[Shizuke Tsukiyama]

I watched as Kami tucked the necklace into her pocket. I reached for my locket and pulled it out so it shone in the light. I took it off and walked up to her.
"Do you like it?" I asked, showing it to her.
"It was a gift from my brother, before he left." I said, holding the chain tightly.
"It's been many years, yet I've never let it go." I said, smiling.
"Shizuke's got a plan." Yukio whispered.
"Shizuke is very smart, she knows always what to do." Yukio whispered again.

Kami looked at Shizuke and said, "It's very pretty Shizuke..." She rarely smiled and she wouldn't start now. Yuchii came over and put a hand on Kami's shoulder. "You probably don't like Kaito because you already like...him...right?" , Yuchii asked. Kami blushed a bit at the thought of her crush and nodded slightly. They giggled because they shared an inside joke and then Kami retorted, "Well Yuch...you're the one who likes 10 guys or something...am I right?" Yuchii nodded shyly and then they both turned to Shizuke and Yukio and said at the same time, "Nothing we just said leaves this house okay? Or else..." They looked at each other. Akiko had gone upstairs and came back down clutching a Tobi plushie. "what going on?", she asked sleepily, she had been upstairs napping while this was going on downstairs. She had snuck upstairs.
Kami had a big house so whenever their group was in Suna, they would stay at Kami's house. There were still empty rooms though and they visited often.
She immediately brightened, still clutching the plushie and exclaimed, "LET'S SHARE SECRETS LIKE AT A SLEEPOVER!!!" Yuchii and Kami both shrugged and once again replied at the same time, "Why not?" They plopped down onto the couch.
They hadn't been to a sleepover in a while and it was starting to get late anyways. Akiko smiled at Shizuke and Yukio and said, "We have extra clothes and other things here so you can stay if you want...it'll be fun." She smiled, while waiting for an answer from them.

[Shizuke Tsukiyama]

"Ok Akiko." I said, looking at Akiko. I put my locket back on and smiled.
"But, I have one question, can we tell a secret the someone already knows, like Yukio knows a secret of mine, which my brother also knows." I said, movig my hands in different ways. I was referring to the factthat Yukio's 20 year-old brother, Yuuhi, had a major crush on me.
Yukio nodded.
"Yes, only Shi, me, and Yuo know this secret." she said, sitting down and closing her eyes. She sighed.

[Oyushi]

Kankurou strolled through the streets, he was having a stretch after sitting down in the same position repairing puppets for two hours, he was glad to be able to enjoy a moment to himself like this, the cool Suna night air, the only time when outside was bearable these days, it could get really hot out here in the desert. He didn't have his puppet scrolls attatched to his back but never the less he was distinctive in wearing his usual clothes, any of the locals would recognise him.

He was busy taking in the peace and quiet when a young boy stepped out in front of him, about ten metres up ahead, mumbling something about getting a necklace for some girl. Kankurou leaped up to next to the boy and chuckled.
"Hey shrimpy dimp. Girl troubles?"
he asked. He didn't have a huge amount of experience, but he could still have a chuckle at this kid, young love was so entertaining.

[kaito]

Kaito's eyes turned to look at the guy. "What's it to you?" He asked his eyes barely visible through his hair. 'What with this guy?' He thought to himself looking over the guy. Kaito pushed the guy to the ground. "That's for the shrimpy dimp comment." He said as he leaned against a wall staring at the sky. 'I wonder what she will do to me tomorrow if she sees me.' He thought.

[Oyushi]

OOC: Just a little god moddy don't you think. A genin automatically pushing a jounin to the ground. Just remember in future!

IC: Kankurou allowed himself to be knocked to the ground, needless to say, if he had wanted to as a jounin he could have easily avoided it, but quite frankly, he didn't care. The little squirt could be a grumpy little dude if he wanted, it meant nothing to the jounin. But it did beg the question, what was the major bee in his bonnet? He walked up to the kid again and said,
"You better watch yourself kid, if I was you, I wouldn't go picking fights with ninja better than you..."
he warned.

"Clearly something's getting to you, why don't ya tell me about it. I might be able to help."
he said.
Unlikely, but still, I'm curious about this guy.
he smiled to himself, normally he would have knocked this kid over on his way through, just because he didn't like children, but he had stopped to take the time, and this guy was being rude, not a clever move.
