Haruka waited eagerly for her friend Shizuke to arrive. She had promised her a battle as soon as she recovered from her previous battle with Santomoro. She was starting to get figety from standing still for too long, so she began hopping up and down slightly.
"C'mon Shi-chan...where are you?" she asked herself outloud looking around impatiently. She began mumbling things to herself boredly, just needed a constuctive battle to get her going.

I was riding on Yuo's back as he carried me to where I was going to meet Haruka.
"Come on Yuo, Haruka-chan won't be waiting forever!" I exclaimed. My butt was hurting because Yuo kept having to push me up a bit farther as I slid down his back. I had gotten up late this morning and I was to tired to get up. I ahd gotten dressed after a long time of getting me up and then I ahd fallen back asleep on the couch.
Yukio ran a bit to catch up with me and Yuo.
"Shizuke, you're so lazy." she said, looking up at me.
"I had a late night, I was training and hanging with you remember?" I asked, a bit of laughter in my voice. Yukio rolled her eyes.
"Be quiet you two, and Shizuke-san, you'll have to get down soon." Yuo said. He lifted me up a bit more and groaned.
"You're going to break my back one day." he said, trying not to be mean.
"Sorry Nii-san." I said, giggling a bit.

Haruka stopped her tomfoolery long enough to notice someone approaching in the distance. She could clearly make out three figures, one on the boy's back. It was obviously Shizuke, Yukio and Yuo. She jumped up and down and waved to get there attention. Excited that she had shown up she yelled, "HEY, C'MON LAZY BONES!!!" trying to rush them alot there trip over to her.

Yuo began to run and I gripped onto his back.
"Yuo!" I screamed. I shut my eyes and then he stopped and let me down.
"Woah, I've never seen you go that fast Yuo." I said, spinning in circles. I opened my eyes and sm iled at Haruka.
"Sorry I'm late, I woke up late then fell back asleep." I said, rubbing the back of my head.
"Yeah, and to add to the troubleI got there late and Shi was still asleep!" Yukio exclaimed. She laughed and me and poked Yuo.
"Yes, she was not very impressive, she's usually up very early and making tea for myself, but instead she was dreaming." Yuo said, glaring at me.
"It's not my fault!" I exclaimed.

"Dreaming? What about?" Haruka asked curiously. Even though she was itching to get fighting, she was still interested in the subject of Shizukes 'dreams.'
She began boredly buttoning and unbuttoning her fold over shirt secures while waiting for an answer. Very concentrated on what she was doing, she seemed almost like it were a life or death situation if she didn't do it.

"I was dreaming about Yuuhi and Yuo when he came back from a mission some years back." I said.
"Yuo had come back with several injuries and my father was very upset. My mother and I had worked hard to get Yuo well again, but my father left a fewdays before Yuo had fully healed from his injuries." I said, looking at the bandage on Yuo's arms and legs.
"I was dreaming about as I saw my father leave, I remember the whole scene like it was yesterday." I said, closing my eyes and leaning on Yuo.
"Shizuke has remember the same moment for a few years now!" Yukio exclaimed.
"I still have scars from the wounds I recieved that day." Yuo said, undoing a bit of the bandage and showing a scar from a broken arm he had recieve that day.

"Oh...." Haruka said in a moan, wishing now that she hadn't pryed for imformation. It was a bad habit, and most of the time, she didn't realize she was doing it. She shook her head, trying to shake off her guilt.
"So, anyway..." she said, trying to get back to the task at hand, "Shall we begin?" she smirked, ready to pull out her ever so popular possesstion jutsu.

He did up the bandage and pushed me forward.
"Yes, let's begin!" I exclaimed. I pulled out the kunai Santomoro had given me and forced a bit of chakra into it. It sudden;y became a long katana, like the one Santomoro had shown me before.
"Let's get this party started!" I exclaimed.
"Go Shizuke!" Yukio exclaimed. Yuo put his hand over his ribs, in the exact place he had recieved the wounds that kept him off his feet for a week at least.

Haruka smirked and quickly made her hand seal to release the chakra needed for her elemental possesstion. "Oh, those little tools. I recall them from a training session me and Kasuga had with Santo." she admired the fact that Shizuke had mastered the chakra flow into the once small knife. "But i've got something better!" She motioned for the earth underneath Shizuke to move upward. It did so, like a whipped carpet.

I kept my balance, barely, and I waved the katana around. If I was in trouble, al I ahd to do was force as much chakra as possible into the katana.
"Come on, let's get something really going!" I exclaimed. I ran at her and quickly body flickered and slashed at her back. After slashing at her I leapt back and stood my ground.
"Come on Haruka, you've trained with Santomoro after all!" I exclaimed. I laughed a bit, I was just teasing.

Shizuke flicked herself to a perfect possition behind her. Haruka had bare caught a glimpse of her. She started to dodge to the side, but the tip of the blade slitted into her shoulder. Luckily, she had boney shoulders,and it wasn't a bad wound because of it.
"Yes, i have, but we did phycological training." she explained, a smirk on her face. "And i'm just getting warmed up." She pulled the water from her pouch on her belt, it dangled in midair, suspended by unseen chakra. She froze it quickly into seebon needle, tossing them and aiming carfully for Shizukes presure points.

I had seen Santomoro hit my chakra points before, but he had gone easy on me and helped me out. I used a quick substitution jutsu and came up behind her. I slashed at her again, hoping to make a deeper wound. I could tell that I may have a bit of a problem if Haruka is just getting warmed up, but I have back up. I lookd over and Yuo and noticed that he had his hand over his wounds.
"Keep going Shizuke, you know your jutsu." Yuo said quietly, barely moving his lips.

Haruka quickly sent a bit of chakra flow to her fingertips, diving downward into the earth, digging fiercely, to evade the swing of the blade. As she got about ten feet underground she knew she was in a perfect possisstion for her earthquake. She laid her hands against the walls and motioned up and down it for it to shake. It started, and she could hear the rumbling around her. She just had to see what it was do above her.

I stopped as the ground rumbled. She was conjuring up an earthquake. I fell to my knees and dispersed the chakra from my blade. It quikcly became an ordinary kunai and I put it back in my pocket. I focused my chakra to a hand sign and I thought hard.
"Mind Reading jutsu!" I thought. I focused my chakra on her now; I could control her movements.
"Stop." I thought. I forced my chakra to her feet, making her stick to the ground like she was stuck in glue. I then forced my chakra to one of her arms and made it move behind her back, keeping her from moving it.
"I won't hurt you Haruka-chan." I thought, keeping my chakra flowing steadily.

Haruka felt as if she didn't have control over her action anymore. She couldn't mover her feet from their current possition on the ground. Her arm was forced behind her back. "What is this?" she exclaimed. She figured it had to be some sort of controling Ninjutsu that Shizuke was preforming. Luckily, she was still able to move one hand, but it was difficult. She had her free hand continue the quake, but it was slightly weaker now.
