Haruka smirked, pulling out her water from her pouch. She had it grab all of kyo's limbs and then froze it for good measure. She picked up the explotion tags off the kunai and stuck it on Kyo. "Activate." she said after getting a distance between them, holding onto the frozen binds.

Kyo braced herself when they exploded.The ice softened it a little bit,but Kyo still had a few small burns and her clothes were a bit charred.She sliced at Haruka,catching her on the arm.'I got a little beat up,but I can come back even stronger now!,'Kyo thought.

Haruka relized that she had made a hit. When Kyo slashe at her arm, she felt it hit her sholder. She quickly countered it with a drop kick and tripped Kyo. After that she created some friction between her hands and created a large fire ball, aiming it at the ground where kyo had landed after the tripping kick.

Kyo flipped out of the way,keeping her eyes fixed on the fireball Haruka had forming in her hands.She held her katana defensively in front of her,waiting to spin the fireball away.

Haruka quickly threw some kunai at her as well, forcing Kyo to make a choice: Deflect the kunai or the fire ball. She did a backhand spring to get out of reach of any deflected items, be it kunai or fireball. "So what'll it be...?" haruka muttered, more to herself than to Kyo.

Kyo spun around,searching for a way to block both.Then,it hit her. She spun her katana with one hand,gathering the fire with it. With her other hand,she took out a kunai and hit all the kunai away.She then took her her spinning katana in both hands and dispelled the fire back at Haruka.'Beat that,Haruka,'she thought evilly,but still breathing heavily.Maybe..just maybe...she could use her special jutsu...

Haruka reformed the fire and took control of it back. "I don't think so!" She held it steady and pulled some water out of her pouch. She colided the two together and created a thick fog. She pulled out her kunai and threw them at the last place she had seen Kyo. 'She won't even see these coming.' she thought to herself with a smirk.

Kyo sensed several objects coming near her.'I don't need to see to dodge,'she thought and closed her eyes.She dodged them all. Then,she held the blade of her katana between her palms and,because of the fog,unseen flames spread along it. Kyo closed her eyes once more,trying to sense and hear where Haruka was. In front of her and just off to the left.She ran almost silently along the ground in the midst of the fog and made a small cut on Haruka's left arm.'Perfect'

'It's not gonna be that easy, Kyo.' she thought to herself, as she saw the flaming sword come toward her. She quickly preformed her earth clone jutsu and several clones rose form the ground. The sword had cut one of her clones. Luckily her clones weren't destroyed by swards, or fire for that matter.
The fire had also allowed her to see momentarily were kyo was. She sent her clones to surround her. They all charged her from a differerent side, each a kunai in hand. They jumped on her.

Kyo raised an eyebrow and yawned.Then,she used her katana to hold off the clones for a second,making handsigns."Shadow Clone Jutsu!,"she yelled,and several clones of Kyo appeared and started battling the others.Meanwhile,Kyo was up concealing herself expertly in a tree with thick foliage.She chuckled quietly to herself.'You can't avoid me forever,Haru-chan...'

(ooc: sorry! it's just she wasn't getting tired, but now she's getting pretty worn out)
Haruka's earth clones faught off Kyo's shadow clones easily, seeing as they had only two weeknesses. Haruka let several of her clones disperse, keeping only two for her own protection. She had no need to waste any chakra. She looked around impatiently, looking for Kyo, but her attempts proved unsuccessful. She held her guard up, ready for anything that came her way.

Kyo quickly and silently pulled out two kunai and tied two strong and thin strings to them.She threw them at Haruka,hopefully landing somewhere near her.It was sorta hard to aim in a tree. She quickly made handsigns,waiting to hear the satisfying thunk of the kunai in the ground.Thunk.There it was.Kyo whispered "Fireball Jutsu" and the fire traveled down the strings,to the kunai which had heat-actvated exploding tags on them.'Hehe...'

Haruka heard and explotion below her, about 7 feet below her. The tree would collapse. She quickly jumped off, but her shirt snagged on a branch. She was carried down with the falling tree. Luckily her shirt was made of a weak fabric and ripped slightly. She still had the problem of falling. She tied a rope to a kunai and threw it at the tree. It sunk into the trunk of near tree and slung from the flaming, falling tree.
