I stood around waiting for a good sparring partner. I was waiting with Yukio since she wanted to watch and see if she could learn any moves from me. "Are you a good fighter?" Yukio asked. "I don't know, I think I am, probably not as good as you." I said to her. I took my ninja sandals off and untied my hair. I shook out my hair to make is straight. I decided to leave out the ribbons since it was easier to move without them. I put my hands on my pocket and leaned up against a tree. "Man, am I ready." I thought.

{OOC: Hunter-nin from Hidden Mist Village in Konoha? I'm not sure if it works...but I'll try something. Thanks for agreeing to do this, Shizuke, I hope to give you a fun match!}
It had been a dark, cloudy day. Reiki always enjoyed such weather, for it was certain to rain later on; making her job a little easier.
She had spent the entire day tracking a young missing ninja from her village, and the tracks were leading right into Konoha. She had been so close behind the missing-nin, who never seemed to stop moving, that Reiki believed it unwise to stop at the gate check into Konoha...it would cost her too much time. She quickly saw an opportunity, however, when a large incoming crowd flooded through the gates; she took her chances and ran inside.
Apparently unnoticed, she began tracking the ninja again; the trail leading her all over Konoha. After some time, she had been paying so much attention to the trail that, when it ended, she was surprised to look up and find herself in an open schoolyard...a bad mistake for trying to be covert.
Reiki glanced around only to find two young ninja nearby a tree...
"Perhaps they haven't noticed me yet..." Was her first thought.
Her second thought was, "Maybe they know what happened to the missing ninja..."
With that, she tensed and decided to close the distance quickly.

I felt another chakra and turned, seeing a hunter-nin from the Mist Village to the right of me. "Hunter-nin." I sneered. "Why are you in our village?" I asked sternly. Yukio prepared for a fight. I held her back. "If a fight is going to happen, this one if mine." I said. I walked up the hunter-nin and looked at her. "Mist nin aren't allowed entry without reason from Lord Hokage, or permission to pass the gates." I said. I could tell that she was much older than myself and Yukio. "State your business." I ordered.

"Kuzio!" I exclaimed. "Keep your big mouth closed and don't interfere!" I exclaimed. I shook my fist at him. Yukio laughed. "Yeah! Shi-chan can handle herself!" Yukio exclaimed. "Man, everyone is going to be here watching this fight. "You keep your mouth shut about this Kuzio-kun!" I exclaimed.

"I wasn't going to say anything but ok" he said blankly staring into space looking at the sky wondering what it would be like to walk on air, 'That would be so cool!!' he thought to himself en emotion of joy overrushed him and then he fell asleep.

"Yeah thanks a ton Kuzio!" I exclaimed. "If I'm in trouble you better get up to help out!" I exclaimed. I shook my fist at him again. "Men, they always cut out right when you need them, why can they never stay awake?" I thought. I blew a piece of hair away from my face. "Now what do I do with her?" I thought.
(OOC: I have to go to bed right now, but I'll ask my dad to wake me up early so I can check it before I head to school, don't start the fun without me! Night!)

{OOC: Reiki is 19... ^_^; ...and sorry, I take a little time for each post, regardless of its length.)
It was too late, she had been noticed by not just the two ninja...there were others watching. Reiki tensed again; the wind was growing stronger. She could sense that, even with the oncoming rain, this might not end well for her.
She faced the more vocal of the two ninja in front of her and said softly, "A missing-nin has been here, tell me where he has gone...then stand aside."
It was direct, and cold, but she could almost feel her prey slipping away from her...and Reiki was unsure as of yet whether she needed to neutralize the witnesses.

"That is still no reason to be in our village. " I said sternly. "Our ANBU will be taking care of the missing-nin in this village, not hunter-nin from the Mist village." I said. Yukio watched closely at me and the hunter-nin. "Shi-chan has a point, the guards infront of the gates don't let anyone past without Lord Hokage's orders." Yukio piped up. I waited for the hunter-nins reply. "Missing-nin, in the Leaf Village? I wonder who." I thought.

{OOC: By the way, I'll be making this missing-nin as one of my other characters...someday. I think I'll make him genin-level.}
"There is no time!" Reiki said, her voice urgent. "Your ANBU have failed already if they haven't noticed his presence...and as long as he is out there, this is my task!"
Thunder echoed in the distance, the wind began picking up more speed. Even if the rain would aid her in battle, the storm might erase all traces of the missing-nin.
Reiki realized that this ninja would only hold her up. She decided that this needed to be finished as fast as possible. If she could knock the opponent out, so much the better; but she wasn't going to take chances just yet. She had survived this long because she never underestimated an opponent.
Reiki Flickered behind Shizuke, keeping her left arm on one of her daggers, she aimed a chop with her right hand at the ninja's neck.

I felt her move behind me and I used a quick sbustitution jutsu. "Yeah, and your a Mist ninja? You have to be kidding me! I've gone up against strong Leaf nin!" I exlciamed from behind her. I kicked her then moved infront of her and drew a kunai. "Mind Reading jutsu!" I thought. I had now focused on her mind. "Our ANBU do not fail!" Yukio yelled. "Stay out of this, she's mine!" I yelled at Yukio. "My name is Tsukiyama Shizuke." I said to the Mist nin. "And I am a member of the Leaf Village!" I exclaimed.

{OOC: I'm not supposed to know you used that jutsu, right? I may have to reword this post if there are some problems, and since I don't especially know how I'm supposed to act towards the technique...}
Ignoring the taunts, Reiki took an involuntary step forward under the weight of the kick. The Leaf Ninjas were apparently faster than her usual opponents, for being so young; and Reiki would have to be warmed up a little before being able to move her fastest. It seemed for now that the fight was not going to take just one minute.
"I don't have time for this..." she thought to herself. Reiki knew she had to get things moving quickly, or else the opponent would out pace her. While the Kunoichi drew her kunai, Reiki drew her left dagger and poked the sharp point on her right forearm. The wound would be useful later, wouldn't bleed too much, and the pain she could focus in her mind to avoid being caught off guard by genjutsu.
Reiki could already feel her body building up adrenaline. Her senses became a little sharper, her reflexes more tuned, and her mind, dulling the feeling of pain momentarily, became completely focused on the new task: take down the enemy. The thought even began to echo around her head.
"Shizuke..." Reiki mumbled before Flickering again. Even if she had become used to killing people, it was always a little harder when she knew their name.
The Flicker itself was a little different this time, for in a split second it seemed as if Reiki was in two places at once, before the first version disappeared faster than human eyes could track. Crouching next to Shizuke, Reiki made a quick slash at Shizuke's hamstrings with her dagger while preparing to Flicker again.

I watched as she poked herself and wondered why. Then I used a substitution jutsu to avoid being cut by her dagger. "I know what you think hunter-nin!" I exclaimed. "I can predict your moves and hold you down by only using chakra to hold you down." I said. I focused on her feet and stopped her from moving. "Now get down." I thought. I made her knees collapse and she fell to her knees. "Your turn." I said.

{OOC: Just so you know, I meant that Reiki had poked herself, not Shizuke, so as to have an escape from possible genjutsu...}
Reiki had obeyed the command, collapsing. No word had been shouted, nothing had hit her. She knew instantly it was a mind trick. Her sensei had taught her only one way out of a mind trick, focus on victory.
"Will yourself to win..or, in your case, at least will yourself not to lose." He had told her. While kneeling, Reiki started focusing some chakra. She began mentally conjuring up images of defeat and what would happen should she fail. Reiki concentrated on the image of failure, focused it in her mind's eye.
"It will not happen!" Reiki muttered. Instantly, the image was replaced with the odd burning desire to attack. It seemed for this fight, Reiki would have to tap into some emotions she hadn't touched in quite some time.
"So, this one enjoys ninjutsu..." Reiki thought. Large raindrops began to fall from the sky as she rose slowly, with some difficulty, to her feet. "It seems my advantage has finally come..." Reiki stared into the sky. The rain was always welcome to her, even if it signified that she would need to begin her search anew. For the moment, however, there was one problem in front of her.
In less then a second, Reiki was focused on her opponent again. An intense, concentrated look crossing her face as she reached under her cloak and pulled out her hunter's mask.
Placing the mask over her face, Reiki shouted to Shizuke, "You will never stop me! This is my task, and I will die before I fail!"
Reiki felt in control again, but she couldn't be sure if the enemy's technique had worn off. Even so, her resolve was absolute now. Clasping her hands together, Reiki muttered "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" Two clones of Reiki rose from the collecting rain water, each drawing their daggers. The three began Flickering towards Shizuke erratically.

I watched and planned out her attacks. "Three, using rain water, and flickering." I thought. I had a good amount of chakra left so I decided to use my favorite jutsu. "Kuro Kaji no jutsu!" I yelled. I conjured up two huge black flames and sent them at her and her clones. Her clones disappeared for a few moments and I moved my black Flames to put a barrier around her. "Whether you flicker or not, you'll still be burned!" I yelled.
