Haruka noticed that the shadow had faltered as he had lept out of the way of her fire attack. He was obviously the one controling her shadow. But how was she supposed to attack him and defend herself from the shadow at the same time?
She quickly jumped up and backhand springed towards the boy. She had to get as far away from her shadow as possible. She was right next to him now. "Surprise surprise...." she mumbled out, breathing heavily. She was down to about half of her chakra energy, and her physical energy was getting low as well. She pulled out two kunai knife, one in each hand, and slashed them in his direction skillfully.

The boy smiled, she obviously hadn't thought about what a shadow was, given she was in a tough situation and had to make a decision and go with it, but still she clearly hadn't given it enough thought. Oyushi was down on the ground helpless and she had gone straight for him. Little did she know but no matter how fast she moved, the shadow would be there right behind her with no effort from the puppet master. The shadow was still 'attached' so to speak to her feet. She moved quickly and skillfully towards him with the shadow right there. Then slashed down and the shadow swung around infront of her, taking the hit for it's master and regenerating still as tall and strong as before.
But then it shuddered and the boy's eyes widened. No... Not now! The shadow's edges began to become less distinct and then there was a puff of smoke and it was gone, back down by Haruka's feet where it should be. Oyushi sighed. "Looks like you win..." he said with a note of frustration in his voice. He was so tired, he was out of stamina and and out of this battle. His leg and arm hurt and he knew they were signs that she had bettered him. Signs that would probably remain there for quite a while.

Haruka cringed as she looked behind her. She thought for sure that the shadow would strike. It was over, and he had won. Then, poof. She looked again and her shadow was nothing more than a trail behind her, just as harmless as always. She stopped her kunai attack and looked down at him. He was giving up.
She stored her knifes in her side pouch and smiled. "That was an incredible technique." she complimented, panting still. She rested her hands on her knees, putting her wieght on them. "No doubt it uses alot of chakra. What's your name?" She offered a hand to help him up.

The boy gritted his teeth and prized himself off the ground. He forced himself up to a sitting position and nodded agreeing that it used up alot of chakra. She asked his name and he replied through clenched teeth, the burn on his leg was far more painful than he had anticipated. "My name's Oyushi." he said. "I'm a genin of Konoha. How about yourself? I mean those earth clones were pretty impressive." he asked, hoping that she would say that she was above genin level, his reputation did mean alot to him. Certainly, earth clones were above his level, the best clones he could make were the basic replications taught at the academy, not impressive in the slightest and only useful for a second before the opponent realised, not like those earth clones. The boy could see that they would come in handy often.

"Haruka Kunimitsu. Also of Konaha." she introduced herself as she pulled him up. "I just became a Chunin last year." She looked at the burn on his leg, "I could take care of that for you." she offered, pointing to the burn. "So, your only a genin? To tell the truth, with that shadow possesstion, i thought you were at least a Chunin." she smiled.

Oyushi smiled at that, praise was always welcome. She pointed to his burn and offered to help it. "Cheers Haruka." he said. "Well I just got to genin but I am from a clan, so some it come naturally. I've been working on that jutsu for quite a while now, so I was just really happy that I got to test it." he said and grinned. "See, I admire a guy I saw once, he was from the hidden sand, he used puppets, and I wanted to too. But I didn't have a puppet so I made a jutsu to use an imporvised puppet. The chakra strings are actually really useful for other stuff too, it's like biological wire."

Haruka listened in aw as he explained his technique a bit. "So, using the shadow as a temporary puppet...." she mumbled to herself, leaning down to tend to his wounds.
She pulled some water from her pouch with her possesstion and let it set in her palms. Slowly, the water began to glow softly as she let a small about of her chakra into it. She laid her hands on his legs and through the tranlucent water one could see the wounds scabbing over. Whe that was finished she pulled out her bandages and patched him up. She smiled, "All better?" she asked in an almost motherly way.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool but, like you said, it uses alot of chakra. You have to pour chakra into certain points and the strings are really just so that you can keep flowing chakra into it, and then you manipulate the chakra to manipulate the body of the shadow. But because you have to fully cover the shadow in chakra and keep flowing it there, it uses alot. So pretty much it's my finishing move, and if it doesn't finish my enemy it finished me. Like just now..." he said as she applied her hands to the wound, instantly there was a decrease in the pain and a sense of relief circled his body.
"Yeah thanks, it seems a whole lot better." he said and began to stand up. Shakily but it was ok enough for him to walk on, so he took a couple of steps around the wall and back and found that it was indeed much better. "Looks like I'll be fine. Thanks again!" he grinned. "Good fight by the way. We should do it again some time. I enjoy a challenge." he added, and began to limp off.

"Good to know i could help!" she yelled to him as he left. She grabbed her own things and slung them over her shoulder before leaving. "Till next time..." she muttered to herself. She was really looking forward to a rematch with him, after such a great battle. She smiled ever so slightly and headed on her way back to the Village.
