"Hmph." Kagemi pulled out the marshmallows, which were now black. She stuck her fingers in here mouth and whistled. Then, popping out of a nearby pond came her octopus. "Octopus, put out the fire, please?"
"Oui, madamoiselle" the octopus said, and it squirted a jet of water on the fire, putting it out nearly instantly

Jade looked at Numi "Nope, sorry" She said "It looks like she has it out already, though." Jade just shrugged her shoulders and looked at Numi. Why do I get the feeling the Kagemi is a little crazy? Jade thought to herself as she stared at the Octopus that spoke (and in french none the less) Must just be me.
She walked over to the octopus and gently poked it in the head to make sure it was there and she wasn't seeing things. For some reason the thought that it just popped out of a pond and spoke didn't cross her mind.

The octopus turned in Jades direction. "Vat do you vant, mes ami?" Octopus said. Kagemi knew what was happening: people were getting freaked out.
"Kay, Octopus, back to the water, now." Kagemi said. And with that, the squishy mollusk was gone.
(ooc: i think octopuses are mollusks....)
Kagemi sighed. "So much for marshmallows..."
