"I like rain because it's clean. Okay, well, maybe not lireally with pollution and everything. But the feeling of it is. and even when it's angry it's got this weird feeling of peace to it. I've never understood why people think rain's depressing, but I always though that was just my nationality speaking."

It started to rain harder, and people began to run indoors and pull out umbrellas.

"They'd never make it five minutes back in Ame..." she said, shaking her head.

She thought about Dover Beach. Surprisingly, something about this setting kept brining it to mind.

A crack of thunder followed alightening bolt that seemed to split the sky, and two genin girls shrieked. Kyokki giggled slightly.

"This is nothing..."

He let out a grin and pulled out his flute and began to play a joyious tune looking towards the sky as another burst of lightening came from the sky followed by a great roar of thunder he smiled and said "I love this type of weather it makes me feel alive"his blue eyes shinned even more so in the rain he felt happy as he played more and more beging to dance in the rain feeling joyious and extatic

Kyokki laughed, all though she didn't have the courage to join him. She wondered what they must look like- a tiny kunoichi with gold hair laughing her heart out at rain and quoting poetry for no apparent reason, and a five foot nine shinobi who looked like he should be the strong and serious type, but was dancing and playing his flute in the rain. She decidwed she didn't care.

He looked at her and smiled he ran towards her at half speed and grabed her hands and spun her in the rain saying "live what good is life without living it"he kept hold of her hands and smiled ever so sweetly and kissed her saying "lets dance"he began to spin holding on to her hands moving kinda slowly

Kyokki turned her most brillant shade of red yet. She was glad Ai-chan, Bachan, and Hikari were no where to be seen.

"I''l be horrible," she protested in a voice that could barely be heard over the storm.

He was having to bend down slightly, so she tried to stand on her tippy-toes. Gently, she kissed him back, just gently on the cheek.
