Yuki walked into the ramen bar and took a seat, ordering a bowl. As the cook busily fixed one she took off her hood and set it in her lap. Running her fingers through her hair she sighed, it felt weird not having her hood on. The cook placed a bowl of ramen in front of her on the counter. "Thank you" Yuki said with a smile and began eating.

Sen turned off her iPod as she walked into Ichiraku Ramen. Her favorite part of Alice Nine's "White Prayer" ended halfway through a sentance, but she knew it would't be polite to leave it on.
She sat down and ordered shio ramen. It was her favorite with a simple chicken broth. She normally liked her food to have more of a taste, but shio ramen just tasted good.
She looked at the only other customer, a kunoichi who was eating and hadn't noticedher.

Having finished her bowl, Yuki was full. Looking around she realized she wasn't alone. There was another customer waiting for their ramen and she hadn't even noticed. Wiping the juice from the ramen off her face she paid for her meal. Looking over at the person waiting, she decided to give it a try and start up a conversation. "Hi, i'm Yuki Hayashi, how are you?" Yuki asked, trying to be polite and not sound strange.

"Nice to meet you," Sen replied sounding friendly, "My name's Senhime Tenkiame. But call me Sen."
She smiled at Yuki-san as a bowl of ramen was set down in front of her.
"Arigatou," she told the cook and broke her chopsticks apart, "Ikadakimasu."
She took a bite, savoring the flavor, and then turned back to Yuki-san.
"I've never seen you around here before. But I'm normally in the mangakissa, so that explains that."

Yuki returned the smile and nodded. "That's a nice name, Sen" She said politely, "I'm from Suna, so that might be another reason for that too, I travel here often though. On missions mostly." Yuki explained, while unfolding her hood and showin Sen her head band. "I have one question, what is a mangakissa? I'm not really sure what that is" Yuki asked, unsure about the response she would get.

"It's kind of like an internet caffe, with computers, you know, but you read manga there as well. There are lots of anime and manga freaks there," Sen explained kindly.
"I've never left Konoha. Sensei's too obssesive when it comes to protecting my team. My older cousin, Kyokki's been just about everywhere. But I haven't. What's it like in Suna? Other than hot and sandy."

"Oh that sounds fun." Yuki said, smiling at herself for worrying about such a silly thing "I can only go to other villages if i've been on missions there before, and that perfectly explains Suna" Yuki said with a laugh. Thinking of other ways to describe her village she ran her fingers through her hair once again. "Well... It's fun to live there, you just got to know where to find the fun I guess... It's like there's an adventure everywhere" Yuki finally explained.

"It gets boring sometimes in Konoha," Sen admitted, slurping up a few more ramen noodles, "But I love it anyway, just 'cause it's home. Actually, I should say it used to get boring in Konoha, past tense. Ever since Kyokki-nesan-"
She surprised herself with the word, but pressed on.
"Ever since Kyokki-nesan moved here, things have been all out of wack. But that's a different story."

'Out of whack?' Yuki thought to herself. "What do you mean 'out of whack'?" Yuki asked outloud. She hadn't been in Konoha for long periods of time to know what exactly normal was, so it was hard to picture it being out of whack. "What could your cousin do to make such a difference?" She asked another question. Out of whack... Yuki thought about what out of whack in her village looked like, it didn't look to good.

"Just in my family, the Tenkiame" Sen assured Yuki-san, "We're still all geetting used to her being here. She's an Ame nin, or she was anyway, and ... well, long story short, Amegakure has lost their brains. Not to much to worry about, as long as you stay far, far away. Can't say much more than that. So tell be about yourself."

"I understand. Well I live in Suna, my mother is a med-nin and my father is a Chuunin, my older brother is deceased, after a mission he went on..." Yuki explained, slowing down when it came to her brother. "My mother wants me to be a med nin too, just to be safe but i'm hoping to become a great ninja like my brother, follow his ways, i guess."

"I'm sorry for your loss," Sen replied quietly, not knowing what else to say. There wasn't awhole lot you could say to that, especially when you were a person like Sen who had only ever watched other's loss from the background. Not that she wasn't grateful that she hadn't lost anyone, but she never knew how she was supposed to reply. She couldn't imagine that sort of pain.

"It's alrite... He was my parents favorite" Yuki said, looking down and straightening her hood. She was trying not to show that it bothered her too much. "I keep telling myself every time I think about him that I will get over it soon, but I never do. I guess it's just something I can't get over." She said looking back up and giving Sen a smile to show that she was okay.

"It's alrite, he was my parents favorite." Yuki said, straightening out her hood, trying not to show how much it hurt. She was always second, she used to be proud to have such a great chuunin as her brother but when she entered the acadamy they would always compare them. He used to tell her to not let it annoy her, and that someday she would make a better impression on them. But since he's gone that seems impossible. Looking over at Sen, Yuki gave her a small smile to show that she wasn't too depressed.

"I'm sorry..." Sen told her again, widhing for a way to change the subject with out being rude and completely insensitive. She could't comprehend Yuki's pain, so she had nothing else to say.
'I'm sorry' sounded hollow, but then, what words would ring true in a situation like this one? It was part of the reason she avoided talking with Kyokki; that and her guilt.
