"It's you." I said softly.
"You're more comfortable than any futon or any bed, you're the most comfortable thing in the entire world." I said. I snuggled in closer to him.
"I love laying right next to you, you're not the softest, but your gentle and you don't hang on to tight, you'd be the best bed in the entire world!" I shut my eyes and sighed. It was completely true, he was the most comfortable thing in the entire world, to me at least. I loved being snuggled up close in his arms.

He smiled and sat up at shizuke his eyes were happy he knew he was going to have to talk to yuo soon but didnt want to quite yet he smiled and saw his necklace he took it off and placed it around her neck and said "you can wear this for now I dont need it at this very moment"

My heart skipped a beat and I looked down at his necklace. My mouth was slightly open in shock, he usually didn't take his necklace off, unless he was in his own household.
"But Santo-kun, you're not that safe here in my house." I said.
"There's no gates that are protecting you, my house is as vulnerable as standing out in the middle of a battle field." I looked up at him. I swallowed and bit my tongue.
"Are you sure you don't want to wear this right now?" I asked. I hoped he was sure.

Santo smiled and kissed her and said "I will wear it if it becomes neccesary besides silver is very sensitive he will attack any unknown chakra or smell he finds out of the normal he will also bark to alert me"he ran his fingers threw shizuke's hair and said "besides it will be warm if you keep it by your heart and I feel that warmth also"

I nodded and shut my eyes for a few moments.
"Ok." I said.
"As long as you are sure." I moved so I could give Santo a big hug.
"Should we go tell Yuo now? I think he's still in his room." I said. I pulled away and looked around.
"Where is Silver anyways? I saw Mother inside, but I didn't see Silver." I said, getting up and peering it out the window. I wanted to know where Silver was, so I could see if I could find a nice clean blanket for him to sleep on later tonight.

Santo looked at her and nodded saying "I am going to have to get a new shirt on so give me a second to change"he got up and went to his room he went into his bag and pulled out a old black shirt with a high collar he quickly put it on and said "maybe he is in yuo's room"

I stepped out my room and trotted down the stairs to wait for Santo. I was nervous about his talk with Yuo, I was scared that Yuo might snap and freak out, or Santo might snap at Yuo. I wasn't ready for this, I was not even close to being ready for marriage, so why on Earth were we doing this?
'Oh yeah, because Santo and I both want this out of the way so we don't have to think about it when the time comes.' I thought. I shifted from my left to right foot very nervously.

Santo walked down the stairs and came to shizuke and thought ' get this over woth and you can rest your mind and heart mo more worryes ffor a few months till the day comes' he put one arm on shizuke's shoulder and said "lets go talk to yuo"he smiled with a scerne expression on his face and calm in his eyes

I nodded. I took his hand and pulled him along. I know on Yuo's door and leaned on it.
"Yuo-san? Come out please, and put my scrapbook away." I said sternly.
Yuo jumped up and put the scrapbook under his bed. He got up and opened the door.
"Your scrapbook? Me? No way!" he exclaimed. There was a big smile on his face, that told me he was lying.
"What do you two need from me?" he asked.
"Something, Santo can explain." I said, looking up at Santo, my eyes filled with worry and nervousness, a lot of nervousness.

Silver barked and walked over to santo and shizuke he lept and licked his master jumping and licking him he wagged his tail and looked back at yuo
Santo pet silver and said "yuo I would like to take the test set up for those who are to marry shizuke"he looked at yuo with a serious look and bowed

Yuo's heart skipped a beat and he stared at Santo.
"That test?" he asked. He went back into his room and pulled out a journal, that my father had written in. He read the entry from the day I was born.
"My little girl was born today. Her name is Tsukiyama Shizuke, Kiko. I know that some odd years from now my little girl'll be all grown up and she'll bring home a man someday. I've decided to test the man that asks my daughter for her hand, he must stand and take all the pain and then get to my daughter, there is no chance he could make it to her with a broken neck and broken arms and legs." he read.
"You sure you want that?" Yuo asked.

Santo stood tall and said "let every bone be broken let every limb snaped I am not afraid break my body and I will walk to her and try to get threw any obstical put before me"he stood tall and said "I am not afraid for I would do anything for her"he put his arm on his cast

I felt like I was going to cry. I was terrified, afraid that something might go wrong and he might not get up.
"You're not serious are you?" Yuo asked.
"This is dangerous, you could be paralyzed for the rest of your life if you move your neck." Yuo said, closing the journal and putting it down.
"But not right now, not today." he said.
"Shizuke looks like she's going to break down, give me a month, maybe a couple weeks to get myself into better shape, I've got to do this, since Father isn't around."

Santo had a deathly look in his eyes and said "I do not joke around about topics like this if I cant move then I cant move but I will I wont give up till I am given permision to marry shizuke dont get me wrong I respect you but dont think I am not going to try"
He nodded and said "in about a months time"

I finally gave in anc clutched Santo's arm, my face buried in it. I was terrified, absolutely terrified.
"I'd give you permission right now and here if I could, but since it was something Father was going to do, it's got to happen." he said.
"But I'll tell you this now, if it gets to much out of hand and you're having a rough time, I'm calling it off, and you're getting permission, ok?" he said.
I kept nodding, trying to get Santo to except the detail. I didn't want him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
