Yuo scooched back as far as he could on the couch. "I'm over the pain. I told you." he said. "Please...just for a little bit." Yuo said. "And then you can stay off. Just for like 20 minutes and then you don't have to any longer."

Haruka swallowed, shaking her ehad again. She had been trying to be nice about it. But the only way out of this was the truth now. "Yuo, don't push it. Please." she said quietly. "I was going out on thin ice telling you like loved you. Please... not today." she looke down again. Hoping not to hurt his feelings.

Yuo just shut his eyes, moving back out so he took up most of the couch. After a few long moments he nodded slightly. "I'm going to sleep now..." he said quietly, struggling to hold back his anger. 'Why? Not even just a few measely minutes?' the thought made him swallow hard.

Haruka stood. "Alright then." she said quietly again, just agreeing with his decision here. "But... i am willing to do something else." she added. She leaned over to him slowly, pulled his face to look at her, and gently pressed her lips to his for a few moments.

Yuo pushed her back, not wanting her kiss at the moment. He didn't want her kissing him, if a few minutes, just until he fell asleep, wasn't possible. He was upset, rolling over slowly, he shut his eyes and bit his lip.

When he pushed her back almost immediantly, she stared in disbelief for a moment. She clutched her fists at her sides again, holding back her tears this time. "... Fine... I'll leave you alone." she said quietly turning lightly towards the kitchen again and walking through. She walked over the sink, head down, and began washing some of the dirty dishes inthe sink. She need a distraction right now.

Yuo was angry now. He got up, not caring whether he was allowed to or not. He dumped his soup bowl over, walking into his bedroom and slamming the door shut.
Misuki looked at Haruka, sighing heavily. "Haruka..." she put her hand on her shoulder.

Haruka did not respond. She kept her head down, scrubbing feverishly at a crusty bowl. Although, one tear managed to escape, a traitor. It dripped off her nose and onto her had. She tried to ignore it, but it was hard not to, hard to keep back her sobbing and stay calm.

"Hey, hey, hey." Misuki put an arm Haruka. It was something Misuki did, as a mothers instinct, to comfort her. "Don't cry Haruka." she said. "What's wrong now? What did Yuo do? Do you want me to go talk to him?" she asked.

She swallowed, her head falling onto Misuki's shoulder. "Yuo... i tried to... and he just..." she tried to manage through her gasping crying. She took a breath to calm herself. "I kissed him... and he pushed... me away..." she finally managed.

Misuki rubbed her back gently. "Was Yuo upset?" she asked. "Sometimes, when Yuo gets upset he's stuck on one thing, and he won't want anything else until he gets that one thing." she rubbed Haruka's back more. "He got that from his father."

"Maybe." she admitted. "I didn't want to lay down with him. I was kissing him to try and make it better, but i just made it worse. Now he probably won't speak to me." She pushed out of Misuki's arms. "I'm going upstairs to read. Maybe it will clear my mind."

"Well that was a surprise." Misuki said. "Sounds like the time Shiozu was really sick." Misuki smiled. "I was 2 months in with Yuo, and Shiozu had gotten really sick. A fever, sweating, he wouldn't eat a thing." she sighed. "All he wanted was a bit of company, and I had declined. After that he was sick for 2 more days. And then, I went to lay down with him, afraid that he was very, very sick and that I might loose him. The next day, Shiozu was up and feeling better." she smiled.

Before Haruka could turn to go, Misuki spoke again, telling another story. It was quite clear, just from he tone, just how much she really missed Shiozu. "Yuo's not sick. He's mad. Mad at me." she said, her face falling slightly more. "I don't think this is quite the same concept of action." she looked away again.

"I'm not refering to the sick part. I'm refering to the upset part." Misuki said. "But I don't want to keep you from your reading. I'm going to be heading out in a few minutes anyways. I will see you and Yuo when I return in a few weeks." she said.
Yuo had already fallen fast asleep on his bed, his stomach still grumbling slightly.
