She decided a bit of help was in order. maybe if she gave him a little peak inside of her head, it would help him out. "Just... think for a moment." she said quietly, turning to face him. "Think about the fact that... i've never lived with anywhere where i'm treated the way you treat me. Never. I've lived with Mabuki, and as you've pointed out, he treats me like a slave. I see that clearly now. Then a lived in a place where i literally was one."

Yuo pulled his knees up, putting his chin on his knees, thinking hard. 'But everyone here treats her like family...' he thought. "What about family?" Yuo asked, looking at her. "I'm not trying to not consider your idea. I'm just asking, what about family?"

She bit her lip. "Family is important to... but it sometimes makes me feel... worse." she admitted. "I envy you. Becasue they're not my family. I wish i had a sibling that loved me so much, partent who's there to encourage me. But i don't. I envy you of that... and it frustrates me." she sighed, looking down.

Yuo nodded slightly. He was tempted to argue that, and say that if she stayed, Misuki would probably take on a motherly role toward Haruka. "What if Mother took on the role as a mother to you?" he asked quietly. "She likes you. She thinks of you as a sort of daughter."

She sighed. "she already has." she said. "And i've already thanked her for that. I'm appreciative, and i'm very glad for it... but... no one can ever replace my mother, Yuo." she rubbed her arms slightly fighting crying again. "You still have yours... you don't realize how lucky you are." she added, so quiet he probably wouldn't hear.

Yuo nodded, still thinking though. "I know no one could replace her." Yuo said. "Just like if Mother were to die, no one would replace her." he said. "Can we do this?" Yuo asked, looking at her. "Can we stay here for a month, and then, if things just aren't working well here, we can move out and try staying there for a month." Yuo said.

She stared back at him, bitting her lip slightly as she thought that over. "Are you going to change your mind, one month from now when i'll still be set on moving to the apartment?" she asked doubtfully. He seemed to be the kind that would disregard something that far into the future.

"I might." Yuo said. "If things just aren't working here, then we can live at the apartment." he said. "And if things work fine here...then we can stay at the apartment for a month, and if things go fine there, we can live there." he said.

She frowned, scooting away from him. "Then no." she said. She was not about to agree to something that he may not keep his promise to. "I'm extremely set on moving out Yuo. I don't think you understand just how much." she continued, her eyes staring at the wood grains in the floor. "So, i'm going to want to leave, and i'm certain already that you won't listen to me at that moment."

That made Yuo upset. "Haruka!" Yuo moved so he was on his knees. Yuo was about to try to convince her otherwise, but just bit his lip and shook his head. He got up from the couch, trembling slightly now. So much for trying to look from Haruka's point of view. "Then fine. If you're leaving go before I get anymore upset."

She quickly stood, realizing he had misunderstood. "Yuo, when i say i want to move out, i mean with you. I'm not going anywhere without you." she told him quickly, grabbing onto his arm. "That's the only point I'm trying to make." She bit her lip. "I'm just saying that this is one subject i won't be backing down from. You've convinced me out of what i want many times, but i'm not giving in on this. Not this time. You've taken advantages plenty of times before. And i'm not going to let you anymore."

"Yeah but not you won't take my suggestion!" Yuo turned, still upset and trembling. "Live here for a month, and then live at the apartment for awhile." Yuo said. "If things go well there, we can stay forever." he said. "If things don't, then...then we can come back."

"Yuo, i did consider it. But then you said you would change your mind!" she pointed out. "I'm not going to agree to something where you might go back on your word. I don't want that. You'd be taking advantage of me again. You're biased. You're going to think things here are perfect no matter what. You'll want to stay." she shut her eyes tightly, her grip tightening again.

"I said I might!" Yuo yelled. "You don't realize how much I love this house." Yuo said angrily. "You don't realize how much I love waking up to my mother and her bright smile and her soft voice." Yuo pushed her off of him. "You just want me! Me! Me! Me! You don't want to think about how I feel! You didn't have a mother to grow attached to so you don't know anything!"

She stared at him, deep hurt in her eyes. She was completely speechless. She felt a terrible weight and pain on her chest, like she her heart had been cut out while she was still conscious. Trembling herself now, she felt the tears rolling down her cheeks silently. She was still gapping. Sliding down to her knees, she felt uneasy, like she was going to throw up.
