She nodded, smiling slightly. "Thank you, Yuo." she said kindly. "I'll see you in a bit a suppose." she turned and continued out the door, closing it behind her and heading down the street. This was going to be awful. For a time, it was going to seem more like they were just friends. What rotten timing too.

Yuo walked up the stairs and into her room. He put Haruka's bag on her bed, walking out and down the hall, to bandage up his hands and put a cloth on his lip. He held the cloth there for a short time until it stopped bleeding and then he went downstairs into the living room. Yuo pulled out a piece of paper and a pencil, immediately beginning to draw. He drew out Haruka and himself, his arm around her and both of them smiling. Up in the corner he wrote, 'I love you like the world' and signed his name in the bottom. After finishing that up, he ran upstairs and put it down infront of her bag, running back down and into the kitchen, putting on some water for tea.

Haruka reached her house, actually Mabuki's house now; she no longer lived here. Walking in, she grabbed her bags, which she had left at the front door inside and heaved them onto her shoulder. She would still have to come back that grab her other things later, but it was too much for one person right now. She walked back, coming back in the front door and peeking in. "I'm back." she called in.

Yuo peeked out from the kitchen. "Welcome back." Yuo said, coming out of the kitchen. He grabbed a bag from her and smiled. "Let me help you out." he said, swinging the bag over his shoulder and walking up the stairs, hoping she'd follow. He set the bag down on her bed, standing off to the side, hoping she'd see the picture.

"Ah! Hey! No, i can get it!' she protested quickly. But he was already heading up the stairs. She followed after him, rigth at his heals. "Come on, hand it over." she ordered. He already had it in her room before she managed to scowl at him. "What was that fo--" she quickly stopped, looking down at a drawing on the bed. It was obviously Yuo's art; that much she could tell. "Yuo..." she mumbled.

Yuo looked down, hoping that she wasn't going to be angry. "I thought I should let you know how much I really love you." Yuo said. "I love you a lot Haruka...and I'm sorry I broke my promise. I missed you a lot once I got back to Konoha...I was almost tempted to walk back." he admitted quietly.

She shook her head, picking it up as she held it out to him. "I appreciate your appology. And i told you, i haven't forgiven you. But i'm considering it ok?" she said. "But right now, i just don't need this. I need to think, and i realy just don't need you telling me things like this right now. Give me time"

Yuo swallowed, feeling like he had just been torn in half. Yuo pushed it back to her. "Keep it. You can just put it away somewhere." Yuo said, hoping she'd just do as he suggested, instead of tearing him apart even more. Yuo was a bit upset, he had hoped she would keep in and say that she loved him too, but he knew it was too good to be true.

The look on Yuo's face quickly gave him away. She sighed, holding the paper against her chest lightly. "Yuo..." she said quielty. "I hurt your feeling... i'm sorry..." she looked down. She took a step forward, looking back up to him. "You know I love you, right?" she asked him, swallowing herself.

Yuo nodded, looking at her. A few tears brimmed at the edges of his eyes and he leaned in quickly to kiss her for a few moments. When he pulled back, he smiled lightly. "I know you love me Haruka...and, I hope that I can make, breaking my promise up to you soon." he said.

His face suddenly leaned towards her's. She shut her eyes tightly, her face tightening as he kissed her, but held herself back from kissing him in return. once he finished, she covered her mouth and drew back. "Yuo, please don't do that.... not for awhile... please..." she said quietly, looking down.

Yuo's body tensed up, and he fought to keep himself from biting his lip again. He looked down. "Oh...ok." Yuo said, turning and heading out down the hallway. "I'm making tea, would you like some?" he called, not turning around as he headed down the stairs.

He tensed again and immediantly, she felt her stomach knot up. This wasn't any easier for her as it was for him. She turned to her thigns and began unpacking. "Yes please!" she called back out. "What are you making?" she asked curiously.

"Just some plain earl grey." Yuo stopped to call back to her. "Milk? Sugar?" Yuo asked. Yuo wasn't going to deal with the fact that he couldn't kiss her or do just about anything with her until she forgave him. Yuo had a feeling it was going to be a long and painful few days.

"Just sugar please." she called. "Thanks, Yuo." she added. She wanted to try and make this as easy for him as possibly. Maybe they could still talk, like they usually did, sit together, but not quite as close as they usually did. Hold hands, possibly on occation. Anything was posssible, even if, at the moment, they were more or less best friends.
