"Heck yeah!" Karuki said happily as she jumped up next to Atasuke. "Oh, by the way, have you heard about the exams? Like have they started already or anything?" Karuki was curious about it and wanted to take part in it even though she had no idea what it was for as usual.

Atasuke shook his head, "No, they haven't started yet, but it should be soon," he replied, looking towards the rooftops and looking at Karuki. He smirked and took a step forward, "you ready?" he asked her, readying his position some more.

"Ok, that's good." Karuki tightened her headband on her forehead so it wouldn't fall off and got into her postion. "I'm ready when you are," she responded as she looked ahead, allowing her eyes to adjust to the darkness completely.

"Go," Atasuke jumped in a heartbeat and started running on roofs and jumping on others. He made clones of himself to split up and try to confuse her into thinking which one was actually the real him. He then kept jumping and looked all around him to see where she was.

Karuki jumped as well after Atasuke said go, watching from close behind as he made clones. It would easily fool most people, but... Karuki wasn't most people. She quickly sensed which one had the most chakra, indicating it was the real one, and ran up to his side, kepping the pace. "You're fast," she commented with a smile which was probably unnoticable

Atasuke smirked, "You too," he replied fast as he jumped onto another rooftop and switched places with his clone. He looked around for her and kept his pace. Of course, he knew that he should watch out for any sudden attacks as he didn't know whether Karuki was a cheater or whatnot. Although he highly doubted so and he did not cheat...just distract.

Karuki quickly did a flip to another rooftop, destroying the clone in the process and kept her pace, looking around to see if there were any more clones she flipped over to another roof, speeding up a bit and on the lookout for any tricks.

Atasuke knew that she would probably counter any moves that he would throw at her, but he kept his clones. He then sped up his pace and watched for any tricks as well. When he concluded that there were none that she had given him, he made his clone speed really fast to the forest, of course, he wasn't saying that he had won, but it was just another distraction.

Karuki kept running, the rooftops almost coming to an end. She was so excited now, she was forgetting to sense the chakra of some of the clones, and when she saw the fake Atasuke run into the forest, she looked in surprise. And because of this, she ran smack into a tree. "Owwwwww....." She sat on the ground, unable to move for a moment from the hit.

Atasuke smirked, but realized that he might've hurt her. He dispersed his clones and ran over towards her and helped her up, "You okay?" he asked her, feeling a bit bad, but trying to shake it off. Of course, he knew that she might've made a clone to bump into the tree, but he didn't care if he won or not. Winning wasn't everything, although it did feel nice.

Karuki stood now, still a little dizzy from the hit. "Yeah, I-I'm fine..." she stuttered, a hand covering a part of her forehead where she was bleeding. "H-how come you d-didn't just finish the race?" she questioned, gaining her balance and becoming less dizzy.

Atasuke lended her some bandages where her cut was bleeding and gave her a healing pill just in case she needed it. Then he realized that Karuki asked him about the race.
"I didn't finish because it wouldn't have been fair and you seemed hurt," he told her, trying to mend her wound, "are you sure you're okay, Karuki?" he asked.

Karuki tried to stand, but fell back down from her dizziness. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've delt with harder trees," she laughed some. She sat still and quiet as Atasuke mended her wound, a bit surprised that he helped her. "Thank you, Atasuke..." she said with a slight blush visable on her cheeks, knowing very well it wasn't the dumb temperature anymore.

Atasuke smirked, "I assume you don't want to go rooftop jumping; so where do you want to go?" he asked in a casual way, but went back to his simple answers; he was a bit embarassed, but only a little. She couldn't get up probably from dizziness, so he thought of places to go. Maybe the lake was a good idea, or maybe the hill to get some rest. Wherever she picked, he didn't mind going unless, well, he did.

Karuki finally managed to stand, leaning against a tree for support. "Roof jumping's fine, so is anywhere else. You choose," she said with a smile. She really didn't care where they went, as long as it didn't lead into any fights with some other shinobi that are found hiding in the night.
