Haruka sighed, both nerves and excitement racing through her body as she and Yuo walked through the gates of Sunagakure. It had been nearly eight months since they had found interesting in eachother, and fallen in love. This was more than enough time, in Haruka's opinion, for something big to happen. And it was going to while they were here. It was the first trip she had ever taken completely alone with Yuo, so that was a nice plus. No annoying little sister, or bugging sensei. Mabuki would have blown up if he had found anything out about this trip. She looked up to Yuo. "So... uh... we're in the upper part of the city. In a penthouse that Lord Kazekage has let me use before." she told him.

Yuo nodded slowly, looking around at some of the village. Yuo had never really gotten a very close look at Suna, he had dropped in once or twice, but never really stayed long enough to get a really good look at the village. "Ok." Yuo said, taking hold of Haruka's hand tightly. "Suna is pretty nice Haruka, I've never really gotten a good look at the village. I've only dropped in a couple times." he said. "I think I'm going to have to come back here more often." he chuckled and smiled, pecking her cheek gently.

She nodded, smiling as she looked down at his hand around her's. "Suna is nice... once you get past the sweltering heat..." she agreed. "I've only been her a couple of times too... but for long periods of time..." she shrugged. "This cities kind of grown on me..." She sighed as they continued walking. Everything still felt so normal. Hopefully it would feel like this through the whole trip without any awkward moments between the two of them. "When was the last time you were here?" she asked curiously.

"Um...when I was 10, or 14, I can't remember." Yuo said. "I want to say I dropped by here after I left the village to train, but I completely forget if I have or not." he said. "But the heat isn't that bad." Yuo replied, smiling still. "It's much warmer then back home, but all the more reason to spray a hose, or go for a dip." Yuo said. "But I have to admit it is a bit too warm." he said.

"Oh, yeah... too hot..." she sighed. Looking up ahead, she noticed the old building. She pointed to it. "That's it... where we're staying." she told him. "We have to go up the fire escape stairs to get to the front door, but it's really nice..." she smiled. "And we should go swimming, if we can find anywhere to swim that is, sometime while we're here...that would be very nice..." she tapped her lip. "I think i recall somewhere outside of town..." she sighed.

Yuo looked at the building at nodded. "Somewhere more green, less sand." Yuo said, chuckling. "Our...night, and then some swimming tomorrow maybe?" Yuo suggested. Yuo smiled brightly at her. "A good swim, that or we can just turn on the taps and fill buckets of water." Yuo shrugged. "But whatever. Right now I'm not really concerned about water. I'm more concerned about our plans." Yuo said. "The realy reason we actually came here. No Mabuki, no Shizuke, no anyone." he said. "Right?"

Blush immediantly flared onto her face in all it's fury as she looked down farther, trying to hide it. "Uh... r-right..." she said meekly. Even though she was just as eager for it as she had been when they had made these plans nearly six months ago, it was still an extremely embarassing subject. "So... that's... tonight... right?" she attempted to add. her voice squeeked slightly and she ducked her head a bit more to avoid visiability to her face.

Yuo blushed and nodded. "I'm pretty sure it's tonight." Yuo said, rubbing the back of his head. He had begun to sweat slightly. Yuo released Haruka's hand for a second to re-tie his hair so it was off his neck. He took his loose hair in his hands and flipped it so it formed a sort of loop, that hung just above his neck. He tied it like that, and then looped it around one more time, to make it smaller, and farther off his neck. "There that's better." Yuo said. "Sometimes I think I should just cut my hair short so it's not such a burden."

Haruka quickly took back up his hand once he had finished tying back his hair. She quickly swept up the chance for a subject change. "I don't really know... i sometimes wonder what you would look like with short hair..." she pondered it for a moment. It might look interesting. Different, but interesting. In a good way. She started up the steps, which were extremely narrow, just slightly ahead of him. She hated them with a burning passion, but it would be easy to ignore it.

"Not very attractive." Yuo said. "I despise short hair on me! I look terrible with it!" Yuo exclaimed. "The only time I will make an exception for short hair on me was when I was baby. At that time I got regular hair cuts, but as I got into my pre-teens I stopped getting it cut, I only got it trimmed." Yuo said. "I just hated short hair, I couldn't tie it back and I found it got rattier and rattier the shorter it was."

Haruka sighed. "I think you might look good with short hair..." she interjected, trying to give a bit of something on her opinion. "Maybe not easy to manage, as you say, but i don't know..." she sighed as she took out her key and unlocked the door, reajusting her shoulder strap of her bag. "When was the last time you even had it short?" she asked, somewhat being able to gauge the answer herself. "Ten? Eleven?" she guessed.

Yuo shook his head. "Nope. Eight." Yuo replied. "When I was a baby, up until 3 I got hair cuts, then I started growing my hair out bit by bit. Mother made me get a hair cut when I was eight so my shinobi work was easier." Yuo replied. "But eventually, the time I was 11 it was long again." Yuo said. "Or at least somewhat long. By 12, almost 13 it was a bit shorter than the length it is now." Yuo said. "And all the years away from the village I trimmed it myself. But it's remained long for years now."

She nodded. "Well... i still think it looks nice long... But it would be interesting if you cut it short..." she said quietly as she walked into the penthouse. It was just as she remembered it. A very nice set up, for the most part. It was much like that of a hotel room, only bigger, with the bed being the first thing you saw when you came in. To the left there was a kitchen, and down the hall was a restroom and closet. "Home sweet home... for the week, that is..." she joked, dumping her bag on the ground.

Yuo shrugged. "Maybe." he replied. He looked around the penthouse. "This is really nice." he replied, slipping his shoes off and walking in, looking around the penthouse curiously. "Never stayed anywhere this nice." Yuo chuckled, smiling. "So we're staying here the entire week. I'm going to have to phone Shizuke constantly to make sure she doesn't follow us here." Yuo rubbed the back of his head. "You can tell she's a clingy little sister huh?" Yuo smiled sheepishly.

She smirked. "Yeah... just a tad..." she said sarcastically. "But she's your little sister... what else can you do?" She slipped off her own shoes before she stepped in. "I mean, she looks up to you. It's not like she can really help but be... clingy.." Placing her hands on her hips she sighed. "It's nice... i've only stayed here a couple of times though..." she said on a exhaled breath. "Last time, Kita snuck in through that window right there," she pointed up to the one nearest to the bed. "Because i wouldn't wake up when he knocked." she snickered.
