The cold wind of the night blew over the land, while liquid arrows sliced through the darkness that spreaded it's wings over the trees. Everywhere you looked, you could see hard rain pouring over the earth, washing away any trace of human foot steps.
A cold wind blew again, but this time, not only the tree's leaves where moved by it: some long, dark and wet hair flew fluidly as the rain drops, falling afterwards on a soft, cold, white skin.
Nami was walking slowly through the rain, drowning her every thought as each drop fell hard on the dark, soaked wet ground.
Her glasses where off, hidden somewhere in a pocket. She reached a clear spot, sat on a gray rock, and looked up. Rain poured on her face, making her look as she was crying.
'Rain... this is the only thing that truly understands me...', she thought, slightly opening her eyes, 'never judging my appearances, never laughing at me when I suffer, never indifferent when I cry...'
She stopped her thought line, and looked down, her wet bangs covering her face.
"But sometimes...", she murmed, "I wish that someone else whould understand me exactly the way rain does..."
She rised her head, looking away, at the dark horizon, drowning her pain in each drop of rain...

Kaito jumped across the branches through the rain, drops hitting his face. He he squinted his eyes so he could see ahead of himself better, as he almost reached a clearing he stopped and seen a girl with dark hair sitting on a rock. She seemed to be only sitting there as Kaito carefully dropped down. He started walking over to the girl. "Excuse me miss but what are you doing out on a night like this?" He asked.
He examined the girl and then he looked up at the air. 'Rain always feels nice it can be so calming.' He thought as he let the rain hit his face for a few. He then lowered his and looked back at the girl waiting for her response.

Nami's eyes flashed twards the boy, and she just looked at him for a few moments, then, as something hit her, she looked at herself and made sure her no-arms jacket was closed, and seeing that it revealed too much she zipped it. She then looked back at the boy and parted her lips, "I was just... takin' a walk", she said, "And... a night like this doesn't bother me... actually I love rain."
She slightly smiled at him, and then looked down at her boots, placed her hands in her pocket, then threw her hazel gaze at the horizon again.
"Oh,", she gasped and stood up taking a few steps closer to the boy, 'Forgot that it isn't polite', she thought.
"My name's Nami"

"My name is Kaito but you can call me Kai if you want." Kaito told Nami as he seen she had moved closer. "I love the rain to it feels so good." He exclaimed tilting his head back so rain hit his face again. 'Rain seems to have it's own emotions it can be calm or furiousious or it can be soft and light.' He thought losing himself in his mind.

Nami smiled, and just watched Kaito for a couple of seconds, and then slightly tilted her head to the right, and then looked down. She seemed to look for something, and after that she rised her gaze to the horizon, watching the rain drops falling down fast.
Water poured down her face and she smiled, feeling each and every drop that touched her.
For once, she felt really tranquil.
Then, like someone woke her up from a pleasant dream, she shook her tranquil thoughts off, once her eyes, following the rain drops reached the area of Kaito's boots.
She remembered that she isn't alone, and needs to keep her guard up.
'Funny...', she murmed in her mind, 'I never forget when I'm beside someone that I need to be alert... what happened?... I just got drifted away so easely...'
But she shook that thought off too, and said "So what are you doing out tonight?"

Kaito tilted his head down to look at Nami and he smiled. "I was just out for a run/walk and I happened to pass by and see you so I stopped and came over to say 'hey' " He said as he scartched the back of his head some of his wet hair sticking up but the rain just moved it back down. He leaned on the back of his heels and looked up at the clouds. 'Clouds are nice they can be peaceful or a fury.' He thought yawning alittle.

Nami glanced at Kaito's eyes, smiling and then throwed a look one last time to the horizon. She smirked, remembering something: "You know...", she started saying, "someone told me a thousand times that siting in cold rain like this isn't exactly..healthy."
Just then, when she took her gaze off the horizon, a loud noise broke through the air. Her eyes fluttered to her left again, as she saw the last sparcles of a broken ray of light.
"Okay... now it's begining to get `unhealthy`...", she said looking around, "We should take cover somewhere..."
Her eyes stopped at a cave in the near-by hill. 'Maybe there...', she whispered.

Kaito raised in eyebrow and seen what was the sparkles of light. "Whys it getting unhealthy?" He asked sensing that something was up. He looked at what Nami was looking at and seen the cave. "Guess we should go there." He said as he tossed Nami onto his back and quickly and silently made his way to the cave.

Nami was still looking to the cave when she felt a pair of arms lifting her up and the image of the place changing suddenly.
"H..Hey!!", she managed to say, looking at the ground, and then at the spot where they stood, noticing that Kaito was running somewhere.
Her mind quickly pictured the view of the cave in the hill, and the way to there. 'It is kinda far away...', she thought.
"Are you sure you want to carry me all the way over there?", she said slightly lifting herself oh her forearms.

"Trust me I'm fine." Kaito said as he puts more chakra in his feet letting him go even faster. In about 10 minutes they made it to the cave and he let Nami off his back. ""There we go now tell me why was it getting unhealthy?" He asked trying to catch his breath.

"That was lightning", Nami said, "And we where wet and in plain sight of it."
She looked over at Kaito as he panted, and sighed.
"Well...", she started, looking away, "thanks for the lift... but... um... you shouldn't have..."
She shifted her eyes to a side to another, nervous, and then gently pulled Kaito closer and planted a delicate kiss on his forehead.
"Thanks", she repeated and took a step backwards.

Kaito blushed as Nami kissed his forehead and he tried to hide it. He smiled as he hugged her and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. He let go of her as he leaned against a cave wall. 'Well maybe I should've thought that through before I did it.' He thought to himself as he stared at his feet.

The poor light in the cave was strengthened from time to time from a sudden flash of light that cracked through the rain drops that seemed to be falling faster and stronger.
On the cave ceiling and walls, there where some blue gems that glittered at the touch of the lighting's sparcle.
Nami catched her breath for a moment when she felt Kaito's arms around her, and felt her cheeks changing to a red-ish shade as his lips touched her skin.
'Well that was unexpected...', she tried to calm herself down as he leaned back.
She glanced at him, and seeing a small glint of red on his face looked away, further into the cave.
"Um...", Nami started trying not to linger upon the moment so they both can get time to un-blush, "Where do you think this leades?"

"I'm not sure but I think we could find out if i had a stick or something." Kaito said as he looked for something hoping to make a fire. 'Damn where could I find something to light.' He thought biting his bottom lip tryng his best not to look at Nami. He search his pockets but only found a piece of string that he would use to keep his hair in a ponytail. He sighed and put the string back while he searched.

Nami snaped out of looking at the plain darkness, and searched in her pockets. 'Why did I left my backpack home?', she started lecturing herself in her mind, 'Now I whould probably have something useful...'
Then something crossed her mind. She went out of the cave and took a wet branch and came back. She threw it on the cave floor, and turned her back at Kaito.
"Just...don't move", she said as she unzipped her no-arms jacket. She took it off, placed it between her legs at the knee area, holding it there.
She glanced once at Kaito to make sure he isn't looking, and quickly got off her singlet, remaining for a few moments in her fish-net shirt. She then swiched the jacket's place with the singlet and tossed the jacked back on her, zipping it.
"We'll wrap this on the branch so the fire will stay on longer", she said, "But before we do anything, we got to dry the branch and the singlet"
