Ichi ran as fast as he could through the shortcuts he knew by heart. He came to a complete stop in a split second. He waited for Shizuke to come in. She's gonna be here in like 1 second. He thought. He looked at everyone who stared at him. He took off his headband and put it on his leg so no one could see it unless they looked at his legs. He hid a kunai in his pockets for anyone who tried to attack Shizuke when she came in.

I was right behind him and I crashed into him.
"Ooops, sorry Ichi-kun." I said, blushing a bit. I hid behind him, keeping close so no one would see my headband.
"Oh please, no one see me." I thought. I kept hiding behind him, trembling a bit.
"Please, oh please, I don't want to die." I thought.

Ichi got crashed into by Shizuke. "Its ok, it happens to me a lot." He said and laughed a bit. He kept on walking, trying to hide her behind him. He stared at everyone who stared at him and Shizuke. One person walked up to Ichi. "Are you from around here?" He asked. "Yes, I am." He said and pointed to his headband on his leg. "What village is she from?" He asked and pointed to her. "Leaf..." Ichi said. Think like a ruthless killer right now... He thought. The person pulled out a knife. Ichi stuck his kunai in his neck before he could do anything else. Blood was dripping on Ichi's arm and the person fell to the ground and he dropped his kunai. "Shizuke...I think you should really take cover behind me now..." He said with a shaky tone. The people started running towards him with swords and knives.

I screamed and buried myself into his back.
"Wait, why am I hiding? I'm a Leaf nin, I should be fighting these shinobi." I thought. I quietly puled the kunai out of my pocket and helld it against my side so no one could see it.
"Let me help a bit." I whispered to him.
"I have a katana, that I can use just in case." I whispered. I kept close to his back, hoping that Ichi would be able to shield me.

"You shouldn't. I'd rather do this since this is my village. I said I would protect you, and I'll keep it that way." Ichi said. "Plus, they didn't make me chunin for nothing." He said and dashed towards a person. The person got their sword out, and swung it since Ichi was close. He jumped and threw 3 shurikens at the person and it hit their head and neck, killing the person. Ichi picked up the person's sword and dashed so fast at the other person that it looked like a blur. The person Ichi was going to next, had a sword. They did a sword fight. Ichi kicked his sword, which made him vulnerable. He punched him really hard and makes him faint. Someone came behind Shizuke and grabbed her. He turned around and saw the person that grabbed her and he dashed in a blur behind him. He jumped in the air and kicked his head which made him fall and ungrab Shizuke. Ichi grabbed him and stuck his sword in his heart, killing him. "There, thats all of them." He said without panting.

Everything came so fast at me that I had no clue what was going on until I was dropped on the ground. I landed on my feet then wobbled back, falling over and landing on the ground with a thud.
"That was scary, do they attack every Leaf nin that comes into the village?" I asked, looking up at him. I slolwy got to my fee tand stuck close to him again so no one would attack me again.
"Did the shinobi guarding the gate into Konoha attack you?" I asked him.

"They usually do. Only since that huge battle that happened." Ichi answered to her first question. "And no, they didnt attack me. Probably since Konoha lets anyone in. I even saw Sand nins there." He added. He started to look around, trying to find a good place to go to show Shizuke around the place, and show where he lived. "Now do you kind of see why I'm a Chunin?" He asked.

I nodded my head quickly.
"Yes I do, you are quick on your feet and get everything over quickly." I said.
"I want to be a Leaf Chunin eventually, but I've got a long way to go, I'm only a Genin." I said.
"But i'm going to be an ANBU captain when I'm old enough!" I exclaimed.
"Of course you will Shizuke." a voice said. I turned to see Saeko behind me.
"You must be Shizuke's new friend, I'm Honami Saeko." Saeko said, a slight glint her eyes, as usual.

"Ya, I am. My name's Kasuke Ichi." Ichi said to Saeko. He kept on looking around and remembered his nin head was on his leg. He held it, but didn't put it on his head. I feel like doing something with this... He thought. He stared at it, thinking. He saw a person far away, but he didn't see us.

"Bet you're wondering how I got in here." Saeko said to me. I nodded.
"Let's just say, this village might be a little smaller now." Saeko said.
"You killed shinobi to get in here?" I asked. Saeko nodded. I looked over at Ichi and tugged on his shoulder.
"Ichi-kun, where are we going now?" I asked.
"I'm a little bit hungry." I said. I smiled a bit and put my hand in my pocket. I felt the kunai that I still had from Santo-kun. I slowly slipped the kunai out and held it in my hands. It was still shining in the dull light.

"I had to kill some of my own villagers to save Shizuke, I knew she could still of defended herself if I was fighting, but I didn't want her to get hurt in my own village." Ichi said while he had his back to where they were facing. "We could go to my house and eat, I still have some good food in there." He suggested.

"Wow, are you that protective of her already?" Saeko asked. Saeko walked a little bit ahead of Ichi and turned to whisper to him.
"Just keep in mind, she's taken." Saeko said, motioning her head at me, still looking at the kunai.
"Ok, we can go to your house." I said, running my fingers across the kunai. The blade was still sharp as ever and the dark colour hadn't faded in the time that I'd had the special kunai.

"I don't even care, Saeko. I just don't like people feeling completely unwelcome in my village." He wispered back. "Lets go." He added. He was dashing in a blur to the right places, making it easy for them to follow me. I hope no other villagers dont see them. He thought and kept on going.

I suddenly snapped back into consciousness and went to run after him, tripping instead. I fell face first into the ground and landed with an "oof".
"Trip over tyou feet again why don't you?" Saeko asked, turning and staring at me. I jumped back up and ran after him quickly.
"Hey!" I exclaimed, I tripped over my feet again then got back up again. Saeko came up behind me and pushed me forward.
"Come on you klutz, he's not going to wait forever." she said, leaping after him.
"Oh give it a break!" I exclaimed, running after both of them.

Ichi got close to his house, not knowing how far behind they were. He did his last dash blur into his house, not even knowing he could do that. I wonder how far behind they are... He thought. He looked around, hoping no one took anything. He was walking in and out of every room, looking and waiting.
