Hiding

Mista glanced behind her. The rogue ninja were catching up with her. She couldn't just kill them right then and there since Konoha, who thought of her as "Hijima" thought she was innocent and the woods were frightfully near Konoha. She ran into the forest and leapt onto a nearby tree, staying as silent as ever. She looked down and saw the rogue ninja right there, looking for her. She could easily hide the bodies here. They had walked right into her trap. She leapt down and stabbed them all with her katana, watching them all fall. She smirked and pushed the bloodied bodies in the middle of another tree. She looked at her katana and saw all the blood on it. She went towards the lake and washed it hastily before sheathing it. Then she heard more ninja going towards the lake and she ran back to the forest and looked around, hearing more footsteps. She leapt onto a tree and looked to see who was 'stalking' her.

Kaito watched all this and looked around for the girl. "Well looks like my training might be over." He said to himself walking off then he disappered and reappeared silently behind the girl. "So why you run so much?" He asked cautiously staying back and keeping his hands in the open. 'Man this may be the stupidest thing I've done this girl may kill me.' He thought sighing.

Mista turned around sharply and glared, "You saw all that?" she clenched her fists and readied her weapons. She couldn't afford to have a ninja tattle tale for killing a few rogue ninja. She disregarded his question of the running part. She thought it was stupid since every ninja ran except the mentally challenged or the over fat. She observed the ninja to see how in the world he could've seen her kill them so fast. She leapt down from the tree; she won't kill him, but might hurt him severely bad if he were to do anything against her.

"I saw it all and I must say you are good." Kaito said jumping down next to the girl. "So what's your name?" He asked looking over the girl. 'What's the story behind this girl?' He asked himself in his mind examining her.

Mista glared at him with her dark and emotionless eyes, "Hijima," she lied. Of course it was her disguise name and everyone in Konoha thought she was Hijima. No one knew her true name and she keptit that way. Being a runaway criminal ninja wasn't easy, but it was challenging and she liked the challenge. Rogue ninja were a nuisance to her as they were always so easy to kill. She looked at the boy and thought that he was probably from Konoha.

"Now why don't I believe that?" Kaito asked suspcious. 'There's just something about this girl but what is it damn I hate my mind.' He thought his eyes emotionless with his face and still examinging the girl. 'Hmmm makes no sense.'

"Because you're stupid?" Mista smirked. She observed him right back and saw that he was suspicious of her. She didn't care; she kept her head on. Mista then thought of her past and how many people she has killed. She was a runaway criminal with rogue ninja after her. But, the good thing was, they didn't know her name. Not even 'Hijima' was in the newspaper or the wanted posters. Only a picture, but no name. Her hair was up so that she wouldn't look like the picture.

Kaito flipped up and over the girl. "Tell em your true name." Kaito said standing behind her so they were back to back. 'This girl she maybe a criminal or something I'd better keep an eye on her.' He thought turning his head so she could see her.

Mista looked at him, "Hijima," she said coldly and seriously. She then examined him and looked at his face. He was younger then she was and curious at that. Drawing her attention to his forehead protector, she knew he was a Chuunin. Aspiring Hokage? That was usually what dreams of these ninja were. Then she thought of one of the many quotes that she lived by, 'Dreams only get you that far, then you need cash' She smirked at the quote. She didn't say it aloud though since maybe his dream was not to become Hokage.

Kaito sighed and looked down at the ground. "Why were you looking at me headband?" He asked looking back at her with sad sky blue eyes. He quickly looked up at the sky. 'Why does this girl seem so odd and off cliter and why does she seem to be hiding her name from me?' He thought to himself and looking back her. "Stop lying and tell me your name please." He said a sorts sad tone in his voice.

Mista looked at him, "It tells me where you're from and basically what rank you are," she said, looking at his eyes. She didn't fall for it. She had already seen enough sadness in the world to fall for that and enough dark in her to not even feel sorry for him no matter what his past was. Her past to her would always seem like the saddest past and would never make her feel sorry for anyone, not even herself.
"H-i-j-i-m-a, Hijima," she even spelled it out for him, "Gosh you're persistent," Mista rolled her eyes.

[kaito]

"My insticnts tell me your lying." Kaito said as he started walking off. "You should open yourself up to others or you'll be destined to be alone." He said stopping and turning around to here her response. 'I wish she would be honest and actually tell me something instead of being closed up like a clam.' He thought as his eyes looked determined to find the truth.

Mista rolled her eyes, "I want to be alone, I have been alone and my name is Hijima," she was annoyed with this boy's persistence, "why do you persist?" she asked finally, curious, yet still cold. She was also wondering why he wasn't warning the Leaf village she was here. How did he know she was lying to him? She pondered these thoughts because most people don't persist with her. There was something different about the boy...

[kaito]

"I persist because my instcints are telling me that your lying about your name." Kaito explained looking at the girl with unmoving eyes. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. He was holding her as close as he could. "I feel I chill so you must also and being alone it's not great it's sad and depressing thing." He explained keeping his arms around her.

Mista widened her eyes and pushed him away, "What do you know, kid? Being alone is the best thing I've ever experienced in my whole life and I don't get chills; I produce them to people," she told him, "and it's Hijima," she added but then looked at him, still angry and cold, "why do you care?" she glared and became a bit confused. What did a fifteen or somehting year old care for a girl like her?
