Although he was coming out of the darkness more or less, Makoto never had a decent reason to emerge from his isolation and become one with the public. He never liked anyone he met, and the only interested kunoichi he ever considered decent was a young girl named Eri. Unfortunately he had lost contact with her as quickly as they had met, but it wasn't a big loss for the ninja.
Dark narrow eyes scanned the area, looking for someone familiar to the boy. Thanking himself as he found little success, Makoto sighed silently and blinked slowly a few times, handsome face frozen into an emotionless glaze. His mouth curved in a small frown and his eyebrows bent inward slightly, giving the boy a threatening but calm look. Legs crossed at the ankles and arms folded over his chest, Makoto stood silently and still, waiting for nothing, leaning against his favorite tree.
The smell of various nature aspects and a few other people wafted toward Makoto, making him gag inside. He hated anything sweet (the few of the trees and bark), including the personalities of seemingly 'innocent' kunoichi. The boy noticed an overload of young female nin, and a few of them already joined his very own bandwagon. Never expecting to have fangirls, Makoto was quite annoyed by this, not to mention a little frightened.

Kyo walked through the woods, searching for her tree. Her tree. She vaugly remembered it.When she was little, she carved a little message in it,and her elder brother,Haru, had drawn a skilled picture of the little tattoo on her lower back below it. She closed her eyes, trying to sense the essense of her seven year old self. Finally, she found it,slightly masked by someone else's essense. She tilted her head to the left, and peeked around a tree. Leaning against her favorite childhood spot was a slightly handsom teen. She looked higher and peered through the leaves, looking for her engraving. She found it. It read "Kyoko Akira's special tree" with a little design below it that looked like this: She walked around to her tree and stared softly at the teen, her head tilted to the left with curiousity.

The disturbing presence of another brought more devastation onto Makoto. He sighed to himself and glanced around, searching for the intruder of his peace. Finally spotting a girl coming closer to him, her attention seemed to be fixed on the tree he was leaning against. His eyes narrowed and nose crinkled slightly as she tilted her head which looked quite foolish to him and walked around the tree like a lost puppy. Scoffing, Makoto stayed completely still, a small smirk painted upon thin lips.
A warm wind suddenly hit his smooth skin, warming his cold hands and carressing his handsome face. Still gazing at the girl with a look of annoyance in his every once and while, Makoto's face soon returned to emotionless once again. What she was doing the boy didn't know, neither did he care. Makoto had trained himself to stay out of other people's business, he didn't want them in his, so why should he intrude on their life? Keeping himself to years of training the boy stayed quiet.

Kyo wasn't feeling very energetic today, since she had been training quite often now.She now looked back up at her carving. "The tree has grown a lot since I was little....,"she murmered. The carving looked almost exactly as it had seven years ago,on her very last visit to the tree. For some reason, after carving in it,she could never remember where the tree was.
Kyo's eyes narrowed a bit, partly because of the warm wind playing with her hair, and also because the boy seemed to be smirking at her.She looked at him and asked,"I don't mean to be rude or intruding, but why are you smirking like that?"

'I don't mean to be rude or intruding,' Makoto replied her words in his mind and tried to hide back another scoff. Glaring at Kyo for a few moments, the boy refused to respond at first. Finally he rolled his eyes and and the smirk quickly vanished, replaced but a cold frown. "Why am I smirking? Why are you here and wandering around me like you're about to pounce?" Makoto growled, staring deep into her eyes with an unfriendliness auroa around him. Before locking his cold gaze into her for a few seconds Makoto turned away quickly, blinking a few times. Shifting his shoulders his frown deepened.

"I was not wandering around you,I was wandering around the tree, looking for my carving,"Kyo explained. When he glared at her,she stared right back, never faltering. Then, her expression softened a bit."Hey,why are you frowning?,"she asked, tilting her head to the left. Then she shook herself.'Darn those old family habits,'she thought, silently cursing.'It makes me look stupid.' She continued to look above the boy's head at her carving, waiting for an answer to her slightly bold(i guess) question.

Carving? Ignoring her comment Makoto stayed silent until she spoke again. He was used to questions like these, 'why are you always angry?' 'Why aren't you having fun?' Or the ever popular, 'why are you such a jerk?' Unfortunately for the curious ninja who ask these questions Makoto never found the right one to answer to. Throughout his whole lifetime, throughout all of Konoha he was yet to find someone that he could truely open up to. However it was not because he thought others of being unworty, it was just the other way around. Makoto felt as if he didn't deserve anyway.
Looking at his feet for a few seconds the boy kicked away a few rocks then looked the girl in the eyes once more. His dark orbs were blank and dull, filled with hatred and frustration. Neglecting her second set of words Makoto then looked away, rolling his eyes slightly as he did so, not bothering to answer. He hoped that his own attitude would clear things up for her.

Kyo studied his face for a second, trying to read his face. It was very hard.Ususally,Kyo was very good at senseing other people's emotions.Eyes are usually the easiest.Hatrid and frustration were in his.She shook herself, and pointed above his head."That's the carving I was talking about.I carved it there, seven years ago. This tree was my special spot. Then,I couldn't find it.Until now, with some freaky teenager under it,"Kyo said with a slight smirk working it's way onto her lips.

Mizu, Kuzios Twin, popped out of the bushes where he saw two people then he sort of got a confused look on his face, 'Do they know Kuzio?' he asked himself hen he hid back in the bush and watched them moments of curiousity kept coming back if he should ask them or not, I mean he looked just like Kuzio...were they friendly towards him? he thought about this for a minute then came out and simply said, "Do either of you know Kuzio?" he lowered his eyes thinking, 'Im so dumb!!'

ooc; Sorry it took so long
bic; Almost ignoring the kunoichi, Makoto forced himself to look at her with a disgusted look in his eyes and a scowl deep on his soft lips. Waiting a few moments before replying, the boy neglected to look at this carving she was talking about and simply pushed himself off the tree, hands in pockets and eyes glancing around. "Fine, I'll leave you to your special tree..." the boy trailed off, ignoring her comment about how he was a 'freak.' Familiar with this name-calling, Makoto took a few steps, then stopped as yet another ninja popped up. Twitching slightly the dark-haired boy didn't look at the new intruder, simply stared forward, body still. He thought for a moment but nothing came to mind about 'Kuzio.' "No," his answer was dry and Makoto didn't hesitate to start walking away once again.

(OOC:it's fine,nik)
Kyo watched as he started to leave."I didn't mean you had to leave....,"Kyo trailed off, slightly dejected. She looked at him. "I didn't really call you a freak,it's just how I am,"she said, slightly sensing that that was what had put him off. Then she thought for a moment, then spoke up."If it counts,I believe there is no such thing as a jerk."Kyo sniffed."It's just another term those people who think they know everything give others to catagorize them." Then she layed on her back and stared at her carving.

Slowing his pace and barely looking over his shoulder, Makoto's eyes rolled and hands dug deeper into his pockets. Flicking his hair back with a slight movement of his neck, the boy glanced at Kyo from the corner of his eye. "I wouldn't listen to you anyway, every think I was leaving for my own good?" his response was once again dry and quite cold. Luckily Makoto wasn't aiming for kindness, or looking forward to the friends he'd never get. "Also, I never even took in your opinion about me, I could care less about it actually," he continued, closing his eyes slightly and frowning. Waiting expectedly for her reply the boy opened his right eye and strained it to see the kunoichi.

Kyo sat up with saddened eyes."I misunderstood, then.Sorry for wasting your time,"she said. She stood up and looked at him. "Seriously, you can have the tree,"she said, before turning around."It's just another memeory I don't need,or want for that matter,to remember."Kyo recalled that it was exactly six years later,to the day, that Kyo's parent's were reported dead. It wasn't plesant. She had come there on a whim, with a feeling that something new was going to happen.Apparently,it was right.

Scoffing and thinking she was just overreacting, Makoto turned to Kyo and wiped the remnants of his mocking laugh off his face, a deep frown being the substitute. His face was cold yet emotionless, it showed signs of frutration and annoyance. Hoping she'd get the hint the boy shifted and turned his neck to face her with his dark eyes. "Yeah, you did," his response was icy and completely unfriendly as always. The male turned away again, his back to her and rolled his eyes, mumbling to himself. Sighing and muttering a final word about naiivity, Makoto began to walk forward, his back to the girl. "If it's so special to you why should I care, all the trees are the same to me," the boy spoke, barely loud enough to reach her senses. He continued to walk forward, rather slow but strong.

Kyo turned around and planted her feet in the ground.Opening her mouth angrily, she hesitated and closed it again. She shook herself and closed her eyes.'Calm down,Kyo,'she thought.'You don't need your temper getting away with you. That's the last thing you need,actually...'But still,Kyo stared slightly hard at him. "Before you go,may I ask a question? How do you see that all trees are the same?"
