(Remember, Brown = Toshi!)
Toshi stepped quietly on the soft grass of the wood. He let out a dreamy sigh, taking in the light beauty of his surroundings. He averted his gaze and looked down at the ground. He was only visiting Konoha. Taking a vacation with his sister Kimiyu"Where is she anyways?" he wondered lightly. He'd figure she was being crushed in the crowds of Konoha. It was a very crowded village, it was.
Either that, or killing them for doing so. He chuckled. His sister had always been good for a little laugh. She was just so weird sometimes. not that he'd ever tell her so. She would have whacked him so hard. He leaned on a tree and closed his eyes, letting the old memories flutter through his head.

Haruka was sitting in a tree when she heard someone below her. It was a boy. He seemed to be waiting for someone. She stashed her sketch book and called down to him, "Hey! You looking for someone?" Not exactly what she had ment to say, but her curiousity got the best of her. The little sparrow that sat on her shoulder bite at her hair and she waved it off, "Would you stop that Kikia?"

Toshi heard the slight ruffling above him, but did not react. He was barely surprised if someone happened to be around the forest. When he heard a girl's voice, he opened his eyes.
It was really none of her business if he was waiting for someone. "Not that it's any of your business, but, No. I'm not waiting for anyone," he said, his voice barely more then a whisper.

"Oh, sorry!" Haruka appologized quickly waving her hands, "It wasn't my place. I'm Haruka Kunumitsu by the way." she smiled warmly hoping this would help him open up to her a bit.

Toshi restrained from rolling his eyes at her tactic. He glanced up at her, but said nothing for a long while. He shoved his hands into his pockets and shrugged. "S'Okay, I guess," he murmered, looking away.
"My name is Toshi Haku," he added afterwards.

"You're not from around here are you?" she asked jumping down out of the tree. Kikia nibbled at her ear. She waved at him to stop, causing him to momentarily fly off, but a second later he landed on her sholder again. "Well, it's nice to meet you Toshi-san." She held out a friendly hand in ofference of a handshake.

Toshi nodded as she dropped in front of him. He noticed a little bird on her shoulder. "No, I'm not. I'm from Suna," he said. He looked in aggravation at the bird whom she had named 'Kikia' "A pet of hers, I s'pose." he pondered.
"Likewise, I'm sure." He said aloud, taking her hand and shaking it. He released and asked her, "What brings you out here?"

She looked up at the canopy. "I usually come out her. Just to think about my--" she relized she was about to give away huge part of her dark past and quicly revised it. "Just to think about things. Plus, Kikia likes to come out here to visit her old home."

Toshi followed her gaze to the canopy silently, just listening. He caught her revision, and it intrigued him What was that about, he thought, his eyebrows raised in apprehension.
He thought about asking her about it, but decided it could wait, at least until he got to know her more. Providing he did get to know her. "Things, huh?" he said, in a playful way. "I'm only out here because it's too crowded in Konoha," he said, answering her most likely question.

"Yeah, it does get pretty crowded in town. That's why i like this place." She turned her gaze back to Toshi, "It's so quant and peaceful. Sometimes it makes me miss my old villiage..." Haruka took a deep breath of the fresh pine scented air.

Toshi listened to her. He wasn't one too talk much. He's never spoken this much in this period of time before. She probably just caught him on a good day. He glanced around his surroundings to make sure they weren't being watched.
"What was your old village," he asked absently. He intened for her to do the talking.

"Well..." she started hesitantly. She figured that it wouldn't hint too much on her past, "I grew up in the Land of Tea until i was five. I haven't been back in ten years." She looked around absently, suddenly thinking of all the friends she had left behind there. She looked down at the ground and frowned slightly.

The boy listened to her intently, and he noticed that it wasn't a great subject for her. He was dissappointed; He didn't want to talk much more, but he wanted her company.
"Well, I'm here with my sister...Not sure where she is," he offered. He didn't know if this would work or not, so he added, "Do you have any siblings? Where is your family?" Toshi figured he wasn't prying too deep into her personal life.

Haruka looked up at him quickly, almost causing herself whiplash. Should she tell him. She had never shared the imformation about her family with anyone. She didn't even know him that well. "My....sister and i got seperated when i...umm... moved here. All i know is that she's somewhere in Otaga." She decided not discuss her father and mother. She could feel a small tear run down her cheek and turnd from him, not wanting him to see her weak side.

Toshi wondered why she seemed to not want to tell him. He could tell by her actions that this deffinately wasn't a good topic. "Sorry, I didn't know," he apologized. He decided to not say anything more.
He turned his face away from her, and only glanced back a couple of times. "Why are girls so sensitive?" he wondered in his head. You'd think he'd know, being raised around them. He only hoped she didn't just out sob; That'd be awkward.
