Hitomi sat on a bench at the park, watching the people as they went by. "I am so bored." She thought aloud. "I don't want to train, and there's nothing to do." She sighed, letting her head fall back and hit the back rest of the bench. "Maybe something will come out of the blue and interest me." She murmured, closing her eyes.

Kagemi hacked more and more beetles of the tree with her katana. suddenly, she lost her balance and fell out, landing smack on her back beside a girl on a park bench. her katana fell out a few seconds later, missing her head by mere inches.

Hitomi's eyes shot open. She had heard a loud thud to her side. She looked over to see a girl on her back, obviously in pain. She also noticed a katana just a few inches from her head. She quickly got up, checking to see if the girl was concious.
"Are you alright? That looked like it really hurt!" She asked, holding out a hand.

"ugh, yeah im okay" Kagemi said. She muttered to herself "i dont how i became a chuunin, being the klutz i am." She looked at the girl. "Thanks. My names Kagemi. What's your name?"

" Mines Hitomi." She replied. She bent over and pulled the katana out of the ground, and held it out to Kagemi.
"That was close, this was about 2 inches from plunging into your forehead." She smiled.
'Maybe you shouldn't have said it so cheerfully' she thought to herself. 'I mean, it's not a happy occasion to almost get stabbed in the head.'

"Thanks." Kagemi took the katana. "Good thing it didn't hit my head, or I'd never get homw for dinner!" She joked. Cripes, she thought, I am SO lame.

Hitomi laughed at her joke. "So, are you from around here?" She asked. She then mentally slapped herself. 'Of course she must be from here!' She thought. 'Why would a ninja from another village train here when they could just train in their own village?'

Hitomi smiled, then menatlly slapped herself for mentally slapping herself. 'So she isn't from around here...' She thought. "Where are you from?" She asked, genuinely interested.

"That's cool." Hitomi said, putting her hands behind her head. "I've never been to the Hidden Rock village before. I wonder what kind of food they have...." She trailed off, letting her stomach do the talking.

"Actually, there food kinda sucks. Speaking of food, wanna go to Ichiraku? Im starving," Kagemi offered.

When they got to Ichiraku ramen, there was almost nobody there. Hitomi took a seat and ordered her favorite dish; pork flavored ramen. She had this almost every day. She turned to Kagemi.
"What do you want?" She asked.
