It was Kyo's day off (OOC: DUH!!). He slept in, and then went on his daily walk. Wow, he thought. Its way too quiet on these paths. Where is everybody?
Kyo began to get nervous. "Hello?" He cryed out in dispair. "Is anybody here?'

Haruka heard someone yell out. It sounded like it was from the next street over. She ran around the corner and saw a boy walking down the street. "Did you yell?" she asked worriedly. He seemed harmless enough but she kept her guard up and ready just in case.

Kyo sees a strange girl. He decides to speak with her. "Hi, the name's Kyo," he says. "Sorry about yelling. I'm just a naturally nervous person."
Kyo keeps walking. "You want to come with me...uh... I didn't get your name, Miss...?"

"Haruka." She introduced herself, "Haruka Kunimitsu. Sure. Why not? I have nothing better to do. It's been rather boring around here lately." She tucked her hands behind her head, "And you are?" she added curiously.

Sitting in a large magnolia tree, quietly observing the paths below, Chitsuki heard the sound of footsteps, and a voice crying out. Before she could respond, a worried looking girl came running from the next street over.
The boy who had first called assured her he was okay, only nervous, and they exchanged names.
Chitsuki looked a bit longingly at the scene.
There hadn't been many time when she was able to start a conversation with a complete stranger like that. Provided, there were a few exceptions, but she was not a sociable person, for the most part. It came from having years of teasing and discrimination pitted against her.
Silently, she slipped down from the tree, watching from a few feet behind the two.
