Kiko blushed bright red as well. "Well....er...umm...I," she stuttered, starting to be really embarrassed. The words had come out without Kiko really thinking. 'But...why did I think that?,' she thought, getting even more confused. Then, her eyes widened slightly, and she blushed an even deeper red than she already was. 'Wow...I like him, don't I?,' she thought. Then she mentally chuckled. 'He's the first guy I've ever liked. Haha...Kyo will be so proud,' she thought, thinking of her best friend Kyo, who has had a few crushes,and was waiting for Kiko to have her first crush. Kiko just never really took an interest in guys-she always had her head in the clouds.

Kuri felt a bit happier, knowing he wasn't the only one feeling nervous.
He couldn't understand what he was feeling, probably because he messed up his sense of knowing when he was in love, by repeatedly flirting with other girls.
Kuri just thought that perhaps he was getting sick. In the deep, dark depths of his mind, a small voice cried out "Kuri! You're in love! It's love!"
He, himself, had already had thoughts that it could've been the feeling of love, but quickly discarded the thoughts, teeling himself that he hadn't been in love seriously for so long.
The truth was Kuri had never experienced the feeling of love, so he wouldn't exactly realize the feeling straight away, and since he was feeling the emotion for the first time, he just couldn't figure out what it was.
"Besides...even if I was in love, a girl as great as Kiko would be too good for me....I'm a shameless flirter and she deserves much more than that...someone who'll be loyal and love her with all his heart...I can't do that...", Kuri told himself those thoughts repeatedly, not realizing that he called Kiko someone great or the fact that it was true...Kuri the shameless flirter, was falling in love, truely, for the first time in his life.
