Mizu looked at Syani, "Hmm?" he asked smiling, "I'm all right" he said, in case she was wondering, of course he wasnt but he had to act like it for right now, he didnt want to be seen, he kept his head low as they passed the fountain and he raised his head back up soon after, 'There' he thought grinning.

Looking the other way and turning a blind eye to his strange behavior, Syani began having her own little moment of memories. This time, for some reason, it was of some of the kids from the academy. She frowned. NOt the best selection of a memory. The teasing from those kids had been so brutal.

Mizu looked back at Syani briefly and saw a frown on her face, he got a confusing look, this was one of the first times he had seen Syani frown, "Whats wrong?" he asked warmly, even though his anger was building up inside of him, if he let his anger out right now, he might never have a chance at a friend again

She waved it off, not feeling like talking, or more specifically, writing, about it. She looked up at him and forced a grin. They were nearly to the step leading up to the Hokage faces. Writing a little slowly her pad read, 'I'm fine. It's no big deal. Just a bit of old memories.' Annoyedly she pushed back her bangs, but they fell right back into place.

Mizu looked at the note and didnt believe her, but didnt ask any questions, he looked at the first steps up, they were nearing the destination he had suggested, Mizu grinned a little, he wouldnt do the thing he did with Haruka, last time a tree fell on him, it didnt hurt but left him a little dilusional.

Syani grinned. It had been so long since she last visited the Hokage Faces. Trying to make herself cheer up she remembered the good times she had had there. There was only one, and it was fant, on from when she two or three. It was of the day she was taken there by her father, before he got completly wrapped up in his research. It was the only happy memory of her father that she had.

Mizu looked at Syani again briefly, she seemed to be grinning, he looked ahead and started walking up to the stone faces, he wondered if he should run and scare Syani, that wouldnt be nice..but was he a nice guy, he ran ahead with the Darukio activated and was at the top behind a bush completely hidden, he grinned a little and sat behind the bush.

Syani blinked and looked around. There had been a sudden gust of wind and the Mizu just disappeared. She walked up the steps normal paced, looking around. She finally reached the top of the stairs and looked around again. She cupped her hands around her mouth to yell for him, then quickly remembered and frowned again.

Mizu looked out from a crack in the bush, he waited for a little, then silently blurred behind Syani, he tapped her a little bit, he didnt know if it would work as well as it did with Haruka when they were in Kiri, he just simply said, "Hey" in a voice she might not recognize, he backed up a little, in case she turned around hitting.

Syani jumped and again her defensive reflex kicked in. Swinging her open hand back to slap her stalker, she screamed silently. FInallly opening her eyes, she saw that it was only Mizu. She jumped up and down angerly. Scribbling on her paper with frustration, she shoved it in his face. "NOT FUNNY!" every letter was capitalized and the sentence underlines three times.

Mizu soon realized her arm was longer than he thought, it didnt really hurt, but he wasnt expecting to be hit, he looked at the note and smileda little and laughed, "Was to me" he said and sighed, he had only scared three people before, it wasnt easy unless he suprised them.

Syani pushed him lightly and stuck out her tongue. Turning from him. she leaned on the safty railing on the edge, leaning her upper body over it to hand slightly. There was a light breeze. She turned around to look at him and smiled. Jumping back off of the railing, she wrote. 'It's nice up here, isn't it?"

Mizu was trailed off but soon noticed the note, and a slight breeze, "It is nice up here" he said, then he muttered something not audible and sat down for a short moment, he closed his eyes and cleared his mind, he was trying to get rid of the thought he was having at the moment.

Syani shook her head. He seemed to think alot. Sitting beside him yet again, she wanted to say something comforting, subconsiously mouthing the words, "What are you thinking about?" She frowned, suddenly remembering that she couldn't speak. Curse this stupid birth defect. It frustrated her so.

Mizu was breathing silently and slowly, his mind wasnt cleared yet, this usually took about five minutes, he cleared his mind of his parents and all of the bad memories he had with them, he sighed a little bit, he got to the toughest part, all the times his heart had been broke.
