Syani wrote, sighing with sadness that she had to do so. 'Stupid birth defect...' she thought, handing him the pad. "Cheer up, emo kid. =) " it said. She hoped he knew she was only joking around. It was hard to get off that you were being sarcasitc when you were writing something.

Mizu heard some scribbling, he opened one eye and looked at what she wrote, he laughed a little, "Im trying" he said with a grin, "Dont worry" he said closing his eye again, he was almost done, he had to clear his mind of one more thing, if he did that he would be happier, at least he thought.

Not wanting to disturb his thoughts, Syani remained quiet, waiting for him to talk. Not that she could really interupt. She thought about her father for a bit. She still had investigating to do about his sudden suicide. She just had to know why her had done it and she would be satisfied, and move on with her life.

Mizu finally sighed and opened his eyes with a grin on his face, he was happy for the time being and looked over at Syani who was now in thought, he muttered a little, "Thanks for being patient" and waited, he was patient also, he sat there and watched the clouds go by.

Syani looked up as he suddenly spoke again. Smiling she quickly scribbled, 'No problem.' She looked up as well. It was nice to just relax sometimes. It was odd to be watching the clouds with someone. Usually it was just her. Sometimes she felt like she was in some alternatative universe from everyone else, but for the first time, she was part of the real world.

Mizu smiled a little while looking at the clouds, he had never done this, he thought that clouds have unusual shapes and sizes, he looked over to Syani and smiled a little, he returned to watching the clouds, he thought they were beautiful, it being as bright as it was.

Syani sighed deeply. Boredom was taking over her thoughts again. She sat up and and leaned her weight on her knees, writing a longer message on her paper. 'I do this all of the time. Usually by myself though. But now that i think of it, i'm always alone or by myself.' She was getting ready to ask what he thought of the view when her pencil snapped. Silently she cursed at it.

Mizu was looking at the note when he heard a "SNAP!" he jumped a little, it happened at the least time, he didnt knoew what it was, he thought something in one of his bons had snapped, "Did you hear that?" he asked, "Sounded lika a pe-" he started then looked at Syanis pencil, he saw it was broke, "Do you need another?" he asked looking at Syani.

Syani shook her head. She didn't want to bother him with something as miniscuale as a pencil. Silence was more what she was used to anyway. There were other ways to communicate with people, besides a pencil and paper. She could still communicate with Mizu if he wanted to talk, but he seemed quiet anyway.

Mizu looked at the sky some more, noticing Syanis head shake he frowned a little he couldnt really talk to her now, not that he could before except for the notes, he sighed a little, the clouds werent getting very interested anymore, he looked over to Syani then to the other side, he laid back and closed his eyes, he wasnt napping, just bored.

Syani looked over to him, blinking curiously. Leaning across the bench she looked at him over his shoulder. He appeared to be sleeping, or resting his eyes. She brought up her hand and poked him on the cheek to get his attention, then lifted up his eyelide. 'Wakey, wakey, Mizu.' she mouthed, no sound coming from her mouth.

Mizu laughed a little, he thought he could understand what she said, he opened his eyes and sat up, his head felt a little weird, he held it for a little then moved his hand back down a little, he looked at Syani, "Why do you want me awake?" he asked grinning a little.

She returned the grin, bringing hands up to her shoulders in an 'I don't know' possition. She adjusted the sleeves of her tunic and stood up, offering him a hand up off the bench. She felt like going somewhere else. She didn't know where, but they would come up with someting to do surely

Mizu took Syanis hand with a little grin on his face still, her hand was warm, while his was cold, he was guessing it had something to do with his feelings, as soon as he was up he put his hands in his pockets and sighed a little, he looked up puzzled about what to do next.

A bit shocked as he took her hand, she smiled gently. It was cold to the touch. 'Do you have poor circulation?' she mouthed, not knowing if he would understand. She made a motion like blood flowing through the veins and then something that meand bad, just to clarify.
The rubbed her arms. Fall was leaving and the cold chill of winter was taking it's place. Soon their would be snow on the ground
