At first Mizu didnt get it but then he thought about it, "No..its just the way I am" he said glumly, hanging hishead a little bit, he had always had cold blood, just like a snake, he didnt like it that mouch but he knew it meant something, something ahead for him, loneliness and sorrow, just that.

Syani looked up at him thoughtfully. She shook her head with a smile. She didn't think that every person was entirely cold hearted, and Mizu certainly wasn't in her opinion. He had been kinder to her than anyone else she had ever come in contact with. She linked her arm in his. She just wanted him to know that she didn't think what he thought of himself.

Mizu opened his mouth for some reason when his arm was linked, he didnt know why Syani just did that, people were looking at them, his eyes glowed silver as a warning and they turned away, he smirked a little, his eyes turned to normal, his arm was still linked with Syani, he really didnt understand and his face was light-red.

Syani beamed up at him, but she grin soon fadded when she noticed those staring at the two of them. She shrank slightly. She wasn't exactly comfortable with people staring at her. It usually ment they were saying thing about her. Cruel things most of the time. She released his arm, hoping to make them all stop.

The people were confused for a second but then went back to working, Mizu got the wide-eyed confused face, "Weirdos" he mumbled and he looked ahead, he was out of ideas, he couldnt think about anything right now, he was still a littl confused by what Syani did.

Syani continued to look down until she was sure that no one was watching anymore. Then, sighing, she looked back up at him, pulling out her notebook, but quickly remembering that her pencil was broken. She cursed silently and shoved it in her pocket angerly. Things like this always seemed t happen to her.

Mizu looked as she put the notebook back in her pocket, he looked down a little, he was starting to think everything that ever happened that was bad was his fault, without warning he flickered away and returned with a pencil from his house and handed it to Syani, "If you want to ask something you can I dont mind" he said giving her a fake smile.

Syani blinked and took the pencil. She really hadn't wanted him to go to the trouble but it was nice of him. SHe smiled happily, pulling back out her notebook. 'Did i creep out just now, when i grabbed your arm?' she wrote. She really didn't want to make him feel uncomforetably. She added, 'If i did i'm really sorry."

Mizu shook his head, "Noone has ever done that before..to me at least" he said drooping his head, he didnt know if that was good or not and he didnt want to think aboutthat, he kept on trying to tell himself to be happy, he looked up and the sun caught him in th eyes, he blinked and put his hand up over his head.

'I can't see why.' she wrote, 'You're one of the nicest people i've met.' She smiled. He was actually the only person in the village that had ever spoken to her, besides the market vendors. And they had never been very kind. It was nice to have someone care for once. SHe hadn't know anything like that since she had lived with her grandparents.

Mizu smiled a little as he saw the note, "Thanks" he said, it made him feel a lot better, most of the people he knew didnt care much for him, he could only think about three, "You're one of the nicest people i've met too" he said smiling, he never smiled this much in one day, he was confused, he didnt know what was making him smile so much.

Syani looked down, a small smiled and a bit of embarrassment on her face. She looked at him from the corner of her eye. She jolted up, suddenly remembering the whole reason she had come to the village today. She hit her head, starting to walk away at a quicker pace. She stopped and wrote, showing it to Mizu, "I still have to do my grocery shopping."

Mizu looked at the note and his smile faded a bit, "Oh..Can I tag along with??" he asked, if he was alone he might start being all moody again and staring at people who mutter about him or at least he thinks they are, he kept on hoping for a 'Yes'.

She grinned and nodded, again grabbing him by the hand this time and pulling him behind her. She loved to have company on shopping trips, and she was happy that it was Mizu. She just couldn't stop grinning. Today was turning out so much better than expected.

Mizu ran beside her, she was very fast so he had to run a litle quicker than usual, he looked ahead smiling a little, he had never really been shopping, usually Kuzio went out to the store, Mizu thought he might be there but he might not, he would just have to wait to find out if he would or not.
