Syani slowed down as they reached the huge market place. The once talkitive crowd hushed. She herself wasn't sure if it was from Mizu or her, since he had explained that most didn't take a liking to him either. Her question was soon answered when she heard two costumers say in hushed tone, "It's her again...." one said. "I know. Thank God she only comes once a week." the other answered "I heard she helped with her father's death..." Syani looke down. She had learned it was always easier to ignore these sorts of comments.

Mizu heard the remark and ws confused, he looked over to Syani then to the people who had said it, he was utterly confused now, he knew snothing about a death or any kind, "Huh?" was all Mizu said and frowned, he had no idea what was going on now and he was sure he didnt want to find out.

Syani looked up at him, a look of sadness in her eyes. She was just glad he wasn't asking any specific questions. She wrote on her notebook as the whispers continued. "Some things are better left unexplained." was all she wrote, returning her stare to the cobblestone street.

"Um..okay" he said reading the note, he heard a remark about helping with killing and he widened his eyes a little, not too much, he had heard a lot worse than that, after all he knew what it was like to have a parent killed, even if you didnt love them and they didnt love you.

Syani looked down. Surely he didn't believe what he was hearing, at least she hoped. None of it was true. It was just a stupid rumor that had been started by God knows who. She didn't care. She didn't have anything to do with the suicide death of her father. How could she. She just was glad that Mizu wasn't running away, or leaving. That was usually what happened.

Mizu didnt like what he was hearing, they kept on murmuring it as he looked at them, he flashed his pale eyes at them and that shut them up, "Heh" he said laughing a bit as his eyes returned to normal and he smiled a little, 'That'll shut them up' he thought a grin now on his face.

Those whispering froze mid conversation, still following Syani and the boy with their eyes. But thankfully the gossiping had ceased. Syani exhaled a held breath and gave Mizu a thankful smile and continued walking. She stopped at a produce stand and began sorting through the veggitables.

Mizu smiled at Syani in the same way, when Syanis back was turned his eyes went pale white, as to say, 'Dont say anything' and they knew what it meant, he kept on looking around as if he was apatrol gaurd on duty, he had eyes like a hawk, he didnt like it when people teased other people.

Picking three good bunches of spinnach, celery and carrots, Syani motioned for him to follow her to the next stand. But when she turned around, she was started by a surprising sight. Mizu's eyes were paley white, including the iris. Her hand slowly moved to her mouth in shock and she blinked to make sure of what she was reall seeing.

Mizu looked at Syani with a confused look on his face, "What?" he asked seeing her mouth, then he remembered Darukio was still activated, he de-activated it and sweatdropped a little, "Sorry about that" he said and began to follow her to the next stand, Did I screw up? he thought to himself.

Continuing to walk, she just couldn't stop staring at him. It must have been a Kekkai Genkai or something, the clan ability that resided in they eyes. She had heard much of these special abilities. It was something that he father had been studying when she was younger. She wrote quickly, "What was that anyway?" it read. She couldn't help but be curious.

Mizu looked at what she wrote, "Erm..My Genkai" he said, not wanting to give up to much information about it, his father had said, once when he wanted to talk to him, Don't tell anyone about the Genkai his fathers eyes flashed pale Or you'll see hell now that his father was dead he wasnt scared of threats.

Syani nodded in understanding. It was as she expected. A clan trait. She was curious as to the ability of it, but desided not to press further on the subject. Rubbing her arms to warm them a bit, she walked over to a fish stand. Sorting threw the fresh catches, she looked around for a bit. She couldn't deside between trout or carp. She looked to Mizu, seeming asking for his opinion.

Mizu looked over to Syani, his eyes still normal, he looked at the fishes she was hanging up at him then saw her face, he put his hand to his chin for a little, he couldnt decide, usually he liked both of them equally, he pointed to the carp and shrugged in his head, 'Both good' he thought and waited to follow Syani.

She shrugged and purchased the carp. Pulling out her list to see what else she need to buy yet, she walked hastily over to the next stand. She really hoped she wasn't boring Mizu. Shopping was never a very exciting task and it was one of her least favorite activities. She wrote. "I think that i have everything i need." it said, as she suddenly had remembered that she had fruits and turkey at home.
