Haruka grew confused as a girl approached them. As Kita later stated, her name was Mizuki. Immediantly when she saw her pink hair she knew that Yuchii would start flipping out, but surprisingly she didn't. Haruka merged back over with the group traveling to the Kazekage's office, Kita, Kankuro, and herself being the party. She gave Yuchii an appologetic smile and turned to talk to the others.
"So, are we going or not?" she asked impatiently. She hated when things got in the way of getting to a destination, the whole idea quite annoyed her. She rested clenched fists on her hips and tapped her foot.

Mizuki stammered nervously; asking these other two girls to leave may lead to conflict......she really couldn't handle conflict. She looked over her shoulder at them, and then at Kankuro.
"Um....." She turned to them and bowed, "Im so sorry but due to security reasons we can't allow anyone not on official to see the Kazekage!" She spoke very quickly and her speech was almost unfathomable. As though to protect herself, she quickly jumped behind Kita and gripped his arm.
"Calm down squirt!" Kita flicked Haruka's head, "We're going already! We just need to ditch the tag-alongs......" He rolled his eyes and looked at Yuchii and her friend,
"If you really wanna be with us that much, wait for us in the park....." He sighed, kicking a pebble across the floor as he walked off and muttering under his breath "sometimes its hard being this pretty...."

Yuchii shrugged. It didn't really matter to her WHEN she saw the Kazekage...she just wanted to meet him. She looked over at Kami and took one step away since she knew Kami might blow up and being next to her when that happened wouldn't exactly be the smartest idea.
Yuchii glared at Kita. She wasn't interested in hanging out with a group of people that she barely knew.
Kami on the other hand, took a deep breath and let it out to try and calm down. She hated the fact that she wouldn't be able to meet the Kazekage and bing told what to do but she WAS a sand ninja and wanted to avoid trouble since it would make her life troublesome.

Haruka cringed as yet again she was brought a swish flick to the head. Again she stuck out her tongue. "Yeah, well, i'm sorry. I'm impatient." she admitted. She looked over to Yuchii and Kami again, feeling bad for leaving them behind, but she knew there was nothing she could do about it.
She looked back at Kankuro, waiting for him to lead the way.

".....or is there a reason why you're so interested in seeing Gaara-sama?" Kita teased Yuchii,
"Well im afraid if that's your reasons for meeting him then my dear sister may be slitting your throat as you sleep!" He laughed.
He patted Haruka on the head, "Chill out kid!" He sighed, "We're going soon"

"This is taking too long!" Haruka said in a rage. She scooted over to Kita and whispered, "Maybe we should just head there on out own. We don't need an escort or anything. You know where his office is anyway..." she said, looking back causiously at Kankuro, hoping he wouldn't hear.

Kita looked at Kankuro, then at Haruka and then deep into the town centre.
She was right; the only reason Kankuro was sniffing around was because he was suspicious. They couldn't guarantee that he would take them to the Kazekage; for all they knew, he had a team of ANBU ready to rip them apart.
Kita stepped back whilst Kankuro was distracted and grabbed Mizuki by the arm
"Any chance you can take us to Ikara?" He whispered to her
"Ik....Ikara...?" She stammered; even if she had tried to shout it, it would have only come out as a gentle whisper.
"She's with Gaara-sama just now........" She looked over at Kankuro; if she helped the two of them without his permission, she could lose her job and if that happened she'd have lost everything that ever meant anything to her.
But on the other hand, Kita was an old friend and she knew he'd take care of her if anything was to happen.
"Ok....follow me...." She took Kita's hand and lead them up a small alley.
As he got dragged by Mizuki, Kita grabbed Haruka's collar so she didn't get left behind
"Sorry to choke you kid but you seemed to be in a different land!" He laughed

Haruka was dragged off in the opposite direction by the neck of her shirt. "Jeez louis!" she chocked out. She tried to get back on her feet and walk, so that she wouldn't be choked too bad. "So you think you can find her?" Haruka asked the pink headed girl quickly. "Gosh would you let go already!" She scowled up at Kita.

Kita let go of her collar; he had forgotten he was holding it.
"Sowwy...." He made big sad eyes at her
"So yeah Mizuki; can you find her?"
"Of course....." Her voice was barely a whisper; despite her mousey voice, she strode confidently down the alley, her boots leaving imprints in the sand.
"She was in his office when i left; it was she who requested your presence!" Mizuki told them, letting go of Kita's hand
"Have you two sorted out your differences then? And what is your affiliation with Ikara-chan?" She turned to Haruka
"If you cause any trouble for her, either of you, i cannot protect you from what Kazekage-sama will do for not only am i loyal to both him and Ikara, but i have no talent in the art of a ninja!" Mizuki suddenly found a voice; the only time she was ever able to be as forward as this was when defending both the Kazekage and Ikara.

Haruka blinked at the sudden determination in Mizuki's voice. "Uh, i've just battled her before. That's pretty much it." she answered, still slightly shocked. "I don't intend her harm. I swear on my life, i'd do anything to prevent her from being harmed."
She snicked slightly at Kita's puppy dog eyes. He was cute when he wanted to be.

Mizuki watched Haruka. She seemed genuine enough and she had survived a fight with Ikara so she must mean something to her.
"Ok...just as long as you understand the consequences i shall take you!" She continued the journey down the alley
"Geez Mizuki, when did you find a voice?" Kita laughed; his hands clasped around the back of his neck as they walked. His legs were beginning to ache and his stomach grumbled.
"Oh man, i ain't had breakfast or anything yet!" He whined

By then, Yuchii didn't care about seeing the Kazekage anymore. She headed towards the direction of Kami's house and looked back to ask, "Coming?"
Kami shrugged and followed Yuchii. Even thought she knew the direction to her house, she felt too lazy to lead.
Yuchii gave Kami a you're-annoyed-aren't-you look and Kami replied by looking away.
Yuchii sighed and told Kami. "I'm going to go meet Haruka at the park later...I haven't seen her in a while so there's a bit of catching up to do..." Yuchii looked as emotionless as ever while Kami looked the same way. "It doesn't matter to me...I don't care what you do...", she replied with a bit of iciness at the edge of her voice.
Yuchii knew it was because Kami wanted to meet the Kazekage while she was just bored. It didn't matter to her whether she met him or not but to Kami, it was a big deal. She sighed and laid down lazily on a couch and stared at the ceiling, waiting for Kami to cool off.

Haruka sighed, "Always thinking about your stomach, eh Kita?" she said retorically. She had to cook twice what she usually would for two people on this trip. It was rather annoying to cook for him. "Well can we get going?" she said again, looking around the area they were in. Mizuki should be sure to find Ikara, if anyone could.

"Like i said, im a growing lad!" Kita smirked at Haruka's obvious disdain at his appetite. He reached into his bag; all he could find buried under the many bottles of hair product were a few peanuts and a packet of gum.
He pouted his lip at his misfortune and continued to follow Mizuki, looking down at his stomach with big sad eyes.
"I swear to god im gonna be anorexic...." he whined.
"It's only a little farther!" Mizuki announced to them; she hoped that Gaara wouldn't mind that she had brought an extra tag-along. He shouldn't mind too much, after all, she didn't seem to be too much of a threat.

Haruka sighed and pulled out a box of trail mix from her bag as they all walked along. "Here. I was hoping to eat this later, but if you're that hungry you can have it... The chocolate chips are propably melted though..." She couldn't contain her anticipation much longer. She was looking forward to meeting the Kazekage, and for some reason, to seeing Ikara again.
