hi all
remember me? lol
Nah this is no joking matter tbh.
But im using this wee space to announce that from now on, i'm taking a back seat in the running of Kenran; I have faith that Haruka and Shizuke can run the place well
However, real-life is taking over all my freetime at the moment and to be quite blunt, my hearts no longer in this place
I will check in from time to time but please, don't pm me about rules etc unless it's uber urgent as it may be a while before i get back to you.
And if somethings in dire need of attention, you can catch me in several places.
Bebo,

And now for the reasoning behind my lack of activity.
Its actually something i'm quite excited about.
Some of you may have noticed that when im online, i sometimes pimp out an online radio station and podcast i'm a part of.
At the present, it's a very small scale project with around 20-30 listeners per night.
That may not seem like a lot but for such a small group with little advertising, it's impressive.
But we've caught the attention of the bigger community.
We're the only Otaku-based radio station in the UK who are serious about what we do and want to make it go somewhere.
And as such, we've been told that we should register ourselves as a business, get a media license and make ourselves national. Perhaps even in the near future, we'll be getting paid to do it.
So that's why i've been so inactive. Collecting information for office spaces, getting in contact and arranging interviews with voice actors, manga-ka, games designers.....all that kind of stuff....I'm the official Industry Liason manager for the Otascotia project so it is eating up all of my time but i do get to chat to some pretty impressive people.
I potentially have an interview with Brad Swaille (Light Yagami) soon
At the same time, i've just been promoted within the Glasgow Anime community to co-organiser meaning i now run the joint as far as Saturday meetups go and thats hard work too.
Some of you may wonder why i've rambled on about all that stuff for no reason; it's because I'm excited that for the first time in my life, my obsession is actually paying off
And even though you're all in a different time zone, if you ever get a chance, i hope you'll check out our shows
