My eyes sparkled. A fairytale, a love story, my kind of story. "Oh!" I exclaimed happily. I stared at him, that glint in my eyes. "Please tell me! Please tell me the story!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down. I almost forgot that I was much older than I use to be, and that I was to young for stories.

He smiled and said "In a far away land before the village in the leaves was even thought of infact before any of the known villages trully existed there were sevral kingdom each one was ruled by a warrior leader and the father sent a boy on a quest to get his bride the boy asked his father how will I ask for her the father replied you will get what you shall give along the way the boy was smart but he had no heart really his heart was so small nothing could really see it"he paused for a moment

I sat down infront of him, my staring in awe. I was just like a child again, starry eyes, staring up at him. It reminded me of the fairytales I was always told. The princess and kings, and warriors, oh! "Oh please keep going!" I exclaimed. I sat cross-legged, my hands in my lap and my black hair hanging across my shoulders.

He smiled and said "the boy set out on the journey but the only way to get to the kindgdom was threw a forest where there were seven gates each protected and would only allow you to pass if you figured out its mystery as he began his journey he walked into the wood creatures on every side and as he approached the gate a serpent came up it transformed into a man the man said hault you can not pass till you answer my riddle the prince agreed reluctantly and the man said the riddle is A man must learn where this is located he must hunt for many years to find it without this no one would exist but with it a man can accomplish anything the prince thought and thought and thought and then he finally said love from the heart the man bowed and returned to the snake form and the gate opened"he took a breath

I kept a mental note of the riddle. It would come in handy, as a sort of code. "Hang on for a minute." I said, slowly standing up and hugging him. "That riddle, after we depart each day, you must give the answer to one of the seven riddles." I said. "It will be a goodnight between just us, and no one else will no."

He agreed and said "there are a couple of riddles the prince must realize but he must also find and learn stuff to succede"he looked at the sky and said "just like at the second gate as he approached it he heard a stream that flowed and the prince had to cross it to get to the gate but as he was about to cross he saw a old woman who also need to cross she asked and his heart felt for her so he picked her up and carried her across but the stream moved fast and was hard he almost droped her but managed to when he did she revealed herself to be a young woman and she opened the gate for him"

"Only a couple!?" I exclaimed. "Then we must make more!" I exclaimed. "A different riddle of every time we depart." I said. "Kindness, love..." I kept in mind the theme of each gate. I could use it later, in my writing that I did. "Continue, I will shut up now." I said, sitting back and down and leaning my head on my hands.

he chuckled and said "the third gate had a arrow that led to a rock that had to be cut for it to get threw and the arrow had a inscription on it the only way to destroy the cord was to shoot the arrow from one he fought for that which must fight for the purest thing he took one arrow from the quiver and shoot it thinking of power it missed the rope but then he thought of the riddle and thought of the princes he closed his eyes and shoot it once again it cut the rope and the gate opened"

I could see the arrow flying right before my eyes. My imagination, made the story very vivid. i could almost hear the rope cutting, and the sund of the arrow moving at such a fast speed. "Oh wow." I said quietly. I knew how to shoot with a bow and arrow, but I always missed. The bow always fell from my hands.

I could imagine this, a dumb warrior figures. "Men focus too much on physical strength and not mental." I mumbled. I covered my mouth. "Shoot, ok, I will shut up now, promise." I said. I sat patiently, watching him quietly. He was an excellent story teller, he told in pretty good detail, with a bit of excitement in each phrase.

He chuckled and nodded and said "thats why I also studied but the next gate was a true test the fifth gate was known as the gate of virtue there was only one way threw it though it was always open but he had to find a way threw a great maze with many traps and the only way was if the boy was to show true compassion as he entered this dark maze and when he found a poor old man who was dieing of hunger and thirst the man begged him for help he had very little food and if this maze was as long as it was but he agve what he had to the old man all his water and food the man ate and as he did the maze opened up and showed the gate as they left them man said I give you this he preneted him with a sword as sharp as my blade here able to cut threw anything he took it and they went there ways"

'Not even a thank you? This prince isn't learning much.' I thought. I looked back up at him, my head slightly tilted, watching Santo carefully. My eyes locked on his. I longed for him to sit down infront of me and tell me the story, since I sat on the ground, but really it didn't matter that much.

he took a seat and placed his sword in his lap and said "the prince thanked him and as he journeyed to the next gate this one was known as the gate of the true heart this one had a old temple and the monks guarded it the said to get threw he must prove his skill with a sword and arrow he was to cut threw a mountain they have set in place of the sith gate he drew the sword and hacked away but it didnt work so he began to taped and found a weakness there was a small crack he stuck the blade and a chunk feel he did this over and over again the next he had to shoot a golden arrow at a apple on the head of a bow who was very young he drew the bow but stoped he put it down and said he couldnt do it they smiled and told him the test was to see if he would do anything for prize and that was mans dowfall the gave him the bow and allowed him to pass"
