{OOC: Heh, since I started, I'll set the weather/scenery}

Reiki was enjoying the day in her own special way. She had taken a walk from the mist village and ended up somewhere unfamiliar. There were dark clouds everywhere, and it seemed like it would begin raining at any moment. She didn't have an umbrella with her, but her cloak would be enough to keep herself from being soaked.

The wind picked up, and tall grass began waving back and forth as lightning lit up the sky. "Perhaps someone in this deserted field would care for a spar." Reiki thought to herself. She wondered at this, for she never usually sought out a fight.

"look at all this grass," Issun said to the girl. he strted to laugh like a maniac. "nice green grass, growing all around." he laughed harder. "its like my family and i want to show it how strong ive gotten." Issun had a killer look in his eye. hysteria had taken him over. " i will kill you here!"
He took off the wooden end of his paint brush to reveal a sword. he charged at reiki!

Reiki stared at the sudden threat impassively. "Surely this boy is insane..." She thought. Even so, such people were especially dangerous when they were charging her with sharp implements. She'd have to be careful not to kill him, for she didn't want whatever village he came from trying to hunt her down.

As she watching the boy approach, she drew her straight-edged dagger and held it in front of her defensively. Behind her waist she readied her curved dagger for a quick strike. The enemy wouldn't take her down easily, if it was even possible. Reiki crouched defensively and waited for the boy to come closer.

Issun charged at her.
a defensive stance? only the strong take offence!
Issun swung and missed on porpose. he waited for the counter attack and jumped back. he slid between her legs and did a spiral swirl upwards with his sword, slicng her a few times.
"ill feed my family with your blood!"

{OOC: There is a limit to how much you can predict from an opponent, Issun. I wasn't actually going to counterattack just yet, but I'll let it slide this time. Remember, do not move your opponent.}

"Blood..." Reiki thought in a dull haze. Some drops flowed from recent cuts made by the boy. He was a bit quicker than he looked. She wouldn't bleed to death from the wounds, but they were certainly discomforting.

Reiki gritted her teeth. The pain sharpened her senses, and made her adrenaline begin pumping. If the boy wanted to draw blood so badly, she'd give him his wish.

Sheathing her straight-edged dagger, Reiki Flickered quickly to the boy's right, making a quick slash at his wrists with her curved dagger. She was aiming to make him drop the weapon.

Reiki quickly sheathed the curved dagger and began making hand signs.

Issun held a tight grip.
"that right, my family is realy hungry," cakled Issun. "we'll feed them together!"
Issun, control your self. This opponet is tougher than she looks.
you? I though you were gone! What does a brat like you know about fighting anyways?
I know you're not as fast as you were. You'll need a cool head to win this fight, please just let me take over!
Fine! But i get to kill her! BWHAHAhaha....
Issun wrapped his wrist in some cloth.
"Terreby sorry about earlier," said Issun, calm, cool, and collected. "Lets pretend that those last blows never happend and let the real fight begin!" Issun stood ready for anything.

Reiki Flickered away and crouched low in the grass. It seemed the boy had gained some control of himself, but she wouldn't let down her guard because of it. She wondered how best to provoke him from his defensive position.

"I don't think I'll close for hand-to-hand combat just yet." Reiki thought to herself. "Perhaps I can-" She broke off from her thoughts as a raindrop hit her face. Glancing to the sky, she noticed several large raindrops were now falling. She could fight seriously from here on.

Drawing her curved dagger with one hand and gathering a few shuriken with the other hand, she readied herself. After a few moments, she tossed the shuriken at the boy and began circling to his left.

Issun cut through the shurikin.
"I-i-i-i-its raining?", Issun grew concerned.
a great deal of water attacks can be use now, and as an add bonus, i cant paint! this is not good at all!
Issun smiled cheerfully. "a little rain never hurts anyone! Maybe itll help the grass grow!"
He stood waiting.
