Fight?

Konoha was nice. Mitsuki had decided that on her travels to nowhere, clenching and unclenching her gloved hand as she walked. Her eyes seeming to shine through the cross-like slits that were the eye-holes of her mask. She prefered no one knowing what she looked like, though it annoyed her greatly when people thought she was a guy.

Aren't girls allowed to be cold and distant too? Mitsuki had been absently twirling her staff, light and dark between her fingers, giving her a clear distance from anyone else as she walked. She turned into the training grounds, it had been awhile since she had practised anything, when someone approached, she stopped. Mitsuki hoped it wasn't someone inquiring about her gender. Maybe they wanted a fight, or to train.

Kagemi approached a girl who looked like she wanted a fight. "Hey," she said, "wanna battle?"

Mitsuki studied the person who walked up closely, and tightened the grip on her staff, she stopped spinning it, managing a grin at herself. "Hey." She replied a little quietly, then she nodded, not bothering to say anything, or ask who the girl was. She was just glad it wasn't a gender question. Mitsuki might've screamed.

"You're move." Mitsuki murmured, as she hated going first, the other person going first helped her analyze just a little. It had been awhile since she had faught anyone, it would give her some practise with her Taijutsu, seeming as she couldn't use 'that' technique since it was light out.

"Ok.... How hard do you want this fight to be?" Kagemi asked.

Mitsuki shrugged. "Hard, but not deadly." She whispered, after a moments thought, studying the girl through her mask, before quickly pulling off the hat she always wore, and tieing her long light blue hair up in a ponytail.

She watched the girl, unsure of her age, and nodded her head a bit, saying she was ready. Mitsuki stood casually, her right hand loosely holding her staff. Taijutsu wasn't her speciality, but you'd have to count your lucky stars if she got close to you, her staff wasn't just for looks.

Kagemi smiled. "Hard it is then." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a blood red eye-shaped charm on a silver chain. When she held it her eyes began to glow and they turned black with red pupil. They flashed, and her whole iris turned red, with no pupil whatsoever. "Okay, here goes!" Kagemi started a jutsu and launched a medium sized electric explosion at the girl. It didn't hit her too hard, but still, it didn't tickle.

Mitsuki smirked behind her mask, watching the girls eyes with only mild interest, she began twirling her staff, faster, faster. The explosion hit alright, blowing her backwards a few steps, her staff managing to absorb some of the attack, she planted the staff into the dirt, using it to spin herself around, and launch herself at the girl.

Mitsuki however re-evaluated her attack in mid jump, hand still on her staff, she twisted it out of the ground, and struck a blow at the girl, not wanting to piddle around with any kind of seals right now. She didn't have any special attack she couldn't use unless it was nightime.

"Augh" Kagemi didn't dodge the hit quickly enough, and the staff hit her foot. One of her toes shattered but she kept fighting. "You asked for it!" She shouted to the girl, unsheathing her katana. She worked up some energy and swung her katana so hard that anything within half a mile was sliced by the force.

Mitsuki's eyes widened at the sudden outburst, catching the motion of the girl grabbing for her katana, Mitsuki planted the staff into the ground again, using it to spin her out of the way of the girls attack, not fast enough, the katana hit the ground right where the staff had been, and sent her flying.

She landed a bit away from the girl, on her knees. Mitsuki blinked, quickly regaining herself, by jumping to her feet, and charging at the girl, jumping at the last possible second, flipping in the air, and landing a kick, aimed at the girl's head, nothing too serious. If that attack from the girls katana had hit her full on, she'd be dead. Mitsuki wasn't even wearing shoes.

She landed on the ground behind the girl, feigning an attack with her staff, hoping to gain the attention of the girls katana.

Kagemi spun around with her katana. She jumped back a few feet and swung her sword, slicing that stick of the other girl's in two.

ooc/ Mitsuki's staff is made out of a really strong type of wood, it's why she uses it for fighting, swords, or katanas can't cut it in two. But I'll go with the flow. Not to mention she laces it with chakra. Do you honestly think anyone would keep a staff as a weapon if anyone could break it?

bic/Mitsuki twirled the bottom half of her staff, the top still holding on by a splinter, she flicked the second half into her other hand, timing the girls moves with her katana, before jumping, aiming to land on top of the katana, spinning off and landing two powerful blows with both parts of her staff.

She landed, in a crouch, spinning as a result of the force she jumped away with, not bothering to catch her breath, she rolled towards the girl, stopping and pushing herself away from the katana, this was troublesome, she twirled the two pieces of her staff, one in either hand, waiting this time for the girl to come to her, slowly circling, to catch her breath, even if she was hardly winded.

Kagemi smirked. Suddenly she disappeared into thin air. A few seconds later she appeared behind the girl and trapped her in a Lightning prison.

Mitsuki also vanished, a stump where she had been moments ago. Replacement technique, used at the last second. Mitsuki charged the girl again, spinning, turning into a log, then again, each time being replaced by either a log or a stone, on the fifth time, she wasn't a replacement, she spun herself at the girl, aiming a heavy punch at her jaw.

Second later she brought her feet up, using the girls body, to her advantage, pushing herself away from the girl, and her katana. Speed was another one of her better qualities, it fit well with her taijutsu, and most found her hard to hit, she studied the girl. "You trying to kill me?" She asked curiously, quietly, spinning the two pieces of her staff again, before switching the pieces, managing to grab a kunai, and throw inbetween one of the switches.

"Nope, just trying to WIN" Kagemim said as her chakra built up all around her. "This ones for the win!" Kagemi screamed over the roar of the electricity around her body. "Mass Lightining Destruction no jutsu!" she yelled. A HUGE blast of electricity mixed with fire exploded out of Kagemi's body, washing over everything with miles of the area. Kagemi's eyes were squinted shut under the power of the blast, and her hair was flying everywhere. Trees and shrubs burned to a crisp, and the grass crinkled and died. Kagemi felt her jutsu weakening, and she squeezed out the most she could bear. A few minutes later all was quiet. Kagemi panted, trying to catch her breath, as that techinique always left her winded. Nearly everything in sight was completely destroyed.

Mitsuki felt with unease the chakra she was building up, and began to spin both halves of her staff around, she had never used a defense technique with her staff in two, but she'd have to try, wouldn't she? Faster, faster. "Invisible Shield no jutsu!"

Mitsuki knew, that if she got her staff moving fast enough, the chakra inside it would not be able to keep up with how fast she was moving the staff, and it would create an imperfect shield of chakra around her, not a complete defense, but enough defense so the technique would not kill her.

The blow was hard, harder then she had first anticipated, lightning crackling all around her, she found herself moving the staff to places where she found it stronger, trying to make the defense last, it was over quickly, and she collapsed to the ground, panting, part of the lightning had hit her mask, charring the normal white to a black, and also her leg was burning something fierce.

Mitsuki's eyes narrowed at the girl, turning to a dark black, not bothering to look around the charred training grounds, not bothering to catch her breath, and ignoring the fact that she shouldn't be able to run with her leg hurting that much, or the fact that she still hadn't regained vision in one eye, she charged, jumping on the girl, knowing the force would knock her to the ground, and twisting the wrist holding the katana, with enough force to break it.
