Kaito sighed as he kicked up some sand. 'And I had hoped that I would of found someone to spar with.' He thought his eyes staying emotionless as he looking around. He sat his dagger against a rock as he started hearing the sounds of footsteps in the sand. They were soft but Kaito being raised in the sand village was used to hearing them so as his hair fell in his face as he stood up he didn't turn to look at his opponent just yet. "So tell me why are you here?" He asked the person not even turning his head.

It was late evening and the sun had all but sunk beyond the pale horizon. The sky was a spectrum of pastel reds, oranges and pinks, and every shade in-between. Izanagi stared blankly at the dying beams of sunlight as they bled from the sky; he was sat atop a crumbling and sand blasted statue of some ancient and 'heroic' Sand shinobi, hugging his knees, sweating like a madman and covered in a fine dust from the sandstorm that had blown through the village at the start of the day. He hated this place; the worst part was that he had to hide in the darkness like a bat during the day because of his albinism, which did nothing for his mood. He had only been out in the open for less than ten minutes. He pulled the hood back from his head and shook the dust from his pale hair with a grubby and bandaged hand. Time to get moving. He stood, stretched, and jumped from his perch atop the half buried effigy's head, paying little heed to the fact the stone construction was a good twenty or thirty feet high. He slowed his descent with a good grasp at a ledge on the way down, before landing with a jarring thud on the dusty ground at the base. 'So tell me, why are you here,' a young voice said from behind him. Izanagi turned. He hadn't noticed this one. He was no psychic, but he knew what was coming here... 'I was admiring the view,' he replied with a steady glare. The boy hadn't turned to meet him. 'I know what you are thinking, child. I know what this place is. Understand that I am not here to fight. But then, I take it you will not take no for an answer, will you?'

Kaito chuckled menacingly at his answer. "Your right I won't take no for answer..." He said disappearing. Kaito reappeared kicking his legs backwards so he would fall forward and then he uppercutted his opponent into the air. He started kicking him more to get him higher into the air. 'Hopefully he won't counter this. ' He thought spinning his body to give his fourth kick extra force. He then went for the fifth. Incase it was countered he had drawn a kunai and hid it in his sleeve.

'You're right, I won't take no for an answer,' the young man chuckled smugly. Then disappeared. Izanagi barely had time to cock an inquisitive eyebrow when the first blow hit home, smashing into the underside of his jaw and snapping his teeth together, sending him into the air. Despite the powerful sucker punch he had been dealt, his hands instinctively went straight for the hilt of his Inuukubi knife strapped horizontally behind his waist. Another blow, weaker this time, to the ribs, then another - Izanagi's knife was part way out of its sheath now - and another! The knife mercifully came free, and not a moment too soon. There was a brief lull in his attacker's assault, and Izanagi took full advantage, his mind already one step ahead of him, making his body twist with the added help of the momentum of the last blow. Now facing his assailant with his weapon drawn and still in mid-air, his left arm shot out and grabbed his opponent's leg just as he completed an aerial twist himself. The boy had attempted to put more force into his fourth kick by twisting to gain some much needed momentum, but the time taken to actually perform this acrobatic had given Izanagi time to anticipate and counter the attack. Now in his grasp, Izanagi pulled the boy by the leg, sending himself rocketing downward and the boy rocketing upward. Using all his strength, he slashed brutally with his weapon, targeting the boy's centre mass. But the awkward angle and the dizzying loss of direction of being up in the air threw his aim, instead slashing through the child's right bicep, cutting through layers of flesh and sinew and grazing the bone. His attack complete, and with no opportunity for another given the angle, Izanagi relaxed his grip and tumbled back to the sandy earth, landing painfully on his side, the soft sand cushioning his fall only slightly. He rolled and recovered in a crouch, wincing as he gasped for breath. There goes a rib, he thought.

Kaito wasn't surprised at how his fourth kick was caught but being thrown so he was in the air then the blade grazing against his skin and bone did. He clutched his wound as he fell to the ground but he spun his body aiming for the rock near his dagger as he spun his body and forced out some chakra his landing alot softer than his opponents but hitting the rock racked his body with some pain. He grabbed his dagger and pulled it out of it's sheath having his sheath fall to the ground. "Tell me your name, mine is Kaito." Kaito said introducing himself. Kaito reached in his back pocket and pulled out some iodine and poured it on the wound before putting it away then. He then pulled out some bandages and wrapped it around his bicep before putting that away. Kaito then thurst his arm that he had hidden the kunai in forward sending it flying at his opponent.

'Tell me your name, mine is Kaito,' the young boy announced, pouring half a bottle of iodine on the heavily bleeding wound. He had taken up his own weapon too. The boy named Kaito threw his arm out, a blur shooting from out of nowhere and straight toward Izanagi's head. He dodged the projectile easily with a tilt of his head, but was more annoyed at the boy's lack of courtesy. He stood, the pain in his side still stabbing at him like a hot knife. 'I am telling you nothing, you fool,' he snapped, the pain doing his attitude no favours. 'If you expect some common manners in a duel, at least grant your opponent the same thing.' He took a defensive stance, his knife raised in front of him, the blunt back edge braced in front of his open palmed off-hand. 'I have just severed a good portion of the tendons in your right arm,' he said through gritted teeth. 'Now, unless you have some particularly powerful medical jutsu behind that sneering facade of yours, your right arm is currently no more than a dead weight.' Izanagi's eyes darkened, the wind kicking up. 'Tell me, Kaito - are you any good with that weapon in your left hand?'

Kaito chuckled again this time holding a hand to his head. "No I'm not that good with it but who says my right arm is completely useless?" He asked smirking. 'Guess I have to use it but I can't control it to much.' He thought as the sand and rocks started disappearing and an armor like arm started surrounding his right arm up to his shoulder. It was near pitch black and then thich black spikes appeared on his back. Kaito grunted as this happened but he started chuckling like crazy. "You in for the ride of your life." He said as he jumped in the air then he shot forward and threw his fist at his opponent's chest.

Something was happening. Rocks were dissolving before his very eyes, whole clumps of sand were raising from the ground and bursting apart, the debris from both hurling itself and forming around the damaged right arm of Kaito. The stone particles blackened and fused together, forming an arm completely alien and unlike anything Izanagi had ever seen. Kaito himself was sneering madly and cackling with a strained voice, his eyes glazed like a voracious animal. To make matters worse, three insect-like spines burst forth from his back in a shower of blood, the crazed Kaito barely registering their existence. 'You're in for the ride of your life,' he breathed, grinning from ear to ear. Before Izanagi could even flinch, the animalistic Kaito lunged with incredible speed through the air, the armoured and be-clawed arm stretched out and clawing at the air as if it possessed a mind of its own. Izanagi reacted and threw his body aside - but the lunge was just too fast. The claw hammered into his left shoulder, sending him spinning out of control and landing in a heap with a badly gouged shoulder, a whole seven feet away from where he was last standing. He recovered and got to his feet, the sand stinging his eyes and the wound on his shoulder bleeding badly, which said nothing for the fractured rib he was already suffering from. This was not going to be as easy as he had thought. But regardless of his injuries, he was still fighting fit; training in the Inuukubi had had him in worst states, and he had pulled through each of them. This would be no different. Muttering a verse from the Chainbara no Shichi code of war, he quickly reached into the small pack at his hip and produced an apple sized stone sphere, topped with a fuse. Wasting no time, he struck the rough surface of the grenade with his knife, the sparks produced causing the fuse to ignite violently. As he completed the verse, Izanagi chucked the grenade fast and low - then reached down to his leg holster with his left hand, pulled free two kunai and hurled them in the explosives wake. Unlike conventional kunai however, both had their handles covered in explosive tags, wrapped as they were with their script facing inward, making them appear idendtical to the common ninja tool. The resulting blast from the three highly potent explosives would certainly be interesting... but he just hoped it would work for what he was planning.

Kaito noticed the grenade when the fuse was lit and when he seen it thrown he dived out of the way and behind a rock that hadn't been used for his arm. 'Damn that was close.' He thought as said covered his body from the explosion. "that was larger than just a grenade those kunai must've had explosive tags on them." He said to himself as he disappeared then reappeared in front of his opponent hiting him in the rib that he had landed on with his alter-arm and then spinning and clawed his shin before jumping away ad putting his arm in for defense. He held his dagger behind him keeping it back as to hold up a front and back defensive position.

Kaito evaded at the last moment as the three explosives disappeared in a swirling blaze of super heated fire, the shrapnel and debris from the combined blasts scattering across the field and removing a massive chunk from the base of the large statue that Izanagi had been sat atop before the battle began. As the smoke cleared, Izanagi braced hard, raising his guard and keeping it tight. Wait for it... he thought to himself, the adrenaline pumping. And then, from the smoke and dying fire that remained in the wake of the blast, Kaito sped forth, going at such a speed that Izanagi - or anyone for that matter - could not hope to track. But then, Izanagi wasn't looking to dodge the attack. Kaito was about to make a very grave mistake: the Chainbara no Shichi fighting style was not a style you tried to contend with up close with just brainless speed and power; Izanagi was going to show him why. The crazed shinobi appeared before the guarding Inuukubi agent, and lashed out with his deformed and armoured hand, striking his already wounded side with a terrible blow. The pain was excruciating, but he countered the winding it would have ordinarily given him by exhaling hard. Kaito spun low, aiming for his legs - but Izanagi was one step ahead. He hopped and landed on the arm as it passed under him, pushing himself off and up into the air, the speed of the sweep spinning him like a top as he traveled through the late evening air to land directly behind his opponent as he completed his harmless attack - facing directly away from him. Better yet, his weapon was behind his back, perfect for disarming. He grabbed Kaito's wrist and wrenched it back with a dull crack, then twirled and slashed at the back of his shins, lacerating the clumps of muscle and flesh on each leg heavily; he used the momentum of his twirling to bring his leg up, connecting with the side of Kaito's head, then pushed off from the blow to bring the same foot directly into his exposed side. Off balance from the opposing kicks and the all but destroyed muscles in his calves, Izanagi quickly ended his blind side assault by grabbing Kaito's left arm, twisting and catapulting him over his shoulder and onto the ground face first, hard. He pounced back to avoid a possible backlash and recovered his stance, knife out in front of him. He panted hard. The broken rib was making breathing a painful chore, the wound on his shoulder was bleeding heavily, the heat was stifling and that last set of rapid maneuvers had all combined to drain him badly. He stared with stone grey eyes at the floored figure of Kaito. 'You have some magnificent skill, but I did not go through more than fifteen years of punishing conditioning to be beaten by a common shinobi.' Izanagi relaxed his stance. Kaito's wrist was dislocated, both legs were weakened and he was on the deck. He didn't think this battle would go any further. 'I respect great strength, but you're relying too much on speed and power alone. Both become utterly defunct when faced with superior evasion and tactics. Oh, and do not get up - you will only waste that interesting talent of yours by dying before its maturity.'

Kaito was barely incontrol of his actions after that onslaught. He seemed to get up but his head was hanging down as he jumped up and used another spike and it propelled him forward this time he had been drawing a flash bomb which he flung and covered his eyes as it exploded almost instantly. Kaito had already had his target the from of the rib that was injured. 'Just keep drilling just keep drilling.' He thought as he as he targeted more inward to his body till he was a foot away then he changed and blazed right into the guy's injured rib hearing a few cracks or one or two. As Kaito's body pushed past as his speed made he stop several meters away from his opponent chuckling like crazy again. "My god what a rush this is!!!" He cackled.

[OOC: Izanagi has broken your character's wrist; more importantly, he has lacerated the calf muscles in both legs. I can understand that his kekkai-genkai may be making him oblivious to the excrutiating pain that one would feel when calf muscles are severed, but nothing was mentioned in the Alter-Arm's description that hinted at it enabling him to defy anatomical reason by allowing Kaito to get to his feet without fault, then land on both legs safely after a massive jump without them both giving way at all, and sending him to the ground in a crumpled heap. To put it simply, control of the bottom half of his legs should be hampered utterly. I'll play along, but please take into account the injuries in the future, 'kay?]
Izanagi was dumbfounded - Kaito had gotten to his feet. He played the scene over in his head to clarify; his ploy had worked, didn't it? He had let Kaito get up close, gotten behind him, broken his wrist to stop him using his blade, cut through both gastrosoleus muscles to prevent movement, dealt two punishing blows to his head and chest to knock him off balance, then finished him off by hurling him to the ground - all in a matter of seconds. It was the Chainbara at its most efficient, and yet this boy was still standing? Either this was a dream, or this child was something else. He didn't have time to ponder any further. Kaito was standing, but only barely, his head bowed and both arms limp, when he spasmed violently, his whole body lunged forward in a low arc at speed. In the one-and-a-half seconds it took for Kaito to close the gap between the two, Izanagi went through a dozen mental options in his head, settling on the one that would end this once petty fight for good; he would stand his ground once again and take the blows, then do exactly as he did previously. He was about to brace for impact when the world went white, bubbles of colour danced before his eyes. A flash bomb! Kaito slammed into the blinded warrior with some force, knocking him hard, and drove his clawed fist once again into his already punished ribs. His dense wire vest prevented the claw from piercing the skin, but it did little to stem the winding impact. Izanagi could see nothing and now he couldn't breathe. He braced hard, preparing for a follow up blow. But nothing came. He blinked hard, the white light and spectrum of colours diminishing. He could see again, but his eyes watered and now he had a headache. 'My god what a rush this is,' came a strained and manic voice behind him. Izanagi turned to face Kaito - still standing on two now very bruised and bloody legs. Whatever power he was summoning to stay standing, it wasn't helping his badly damaged legs and it wasn't helping his energy. He was sweating worse than him, and even at a distance he could see his whole body quivering. He may not be acting like it, but this battle was wearing heavily on Kaito. Izanagi winced hard, his breath catching in his throat. He must have got another rib, he thought, wiping the sweat and tears from his eyes and regaining his composure and taking up his weapon. He glared hard at his manic and battered opponent, daring him to try his luck one last time. But then, with the state he was in - Izanagi cracked a little smile at the thought - Kaito's luck had all but run out.

(Not I shall explain this when the user's mind is clouded it doesn't registered nerves or pain for the bodies actions only the movements. So more or less the body is in control of the arm not the user. The arm continues to push itself even when the body is ver weakened but when the user regains control this does leaves them usually in a crumpled heap.)
Kaito body couldn't push itself anymore but the arm was in control and Kaito was merely a spectator to it's attacks. Kaito grinned as he cackled. "You should run while you still have a chance." He said as he started slinking forward. 'One more shot hehehe I can end it before then.' He thought as he drew another kunai and flung it onto the ground before Izanagi. Kaito turned around and kicked back as he went behind him and then threw a shuriken at his back before getting his alter arm ready for defense.

(OOC: I think I get what you're saying... either way, out of curiosity, your Death's Barrage jutsu uses 65% it says in its description. You used it as your opening attack, but only pulled off the first set of attacks to get me air born. How much chakra did it use would you say? Oh, and while we're on the subject, did you fire a large spike or a small spike to help you jump earlier? I'm trying to keep track of chakra usage.)
Kaito was swaying drunkenly, his legs shaking and the cloth covering them wet with blood and sweat. He still couldn't quite wrap his head around just how this boy was still standing; he assumed that the arm was the cause of it - some special jutsu most likely, although no hand signals were used to summon it. A Kekkei-Genkai maybe? It was possible, he guessed, but Izanagi hadn't heard of such a power. And the Inuukubi usually did hear about such powers. He shrugged mentally. It didn't matter how many eyes and ears you had lurking amongst the shadows, like the nose in front of your face, some things are so obvious they go unnoticed. Meanwhile, Kaito raised his sweat drenched face and grinned from ear to ear. His eyes were blank - lifeless and deathly. 'You should run while you still have the chance,' he sneered, his voice shifting between playfulness and barely contained excitement. Izanagi didn't say anything of course; just kept his eyes on him and waited. He didn't wait long. Kaito's left arm shot out, a kunai launch from his hand, still in a hideously awkward position after being dislocated moments ago. The weapon dug into the ground harmlessly. Izanagi granted it no attention; he kept his eyes on his prey. Kaito twisted around and let his back turn on him, then pushed off the ground with a mangled leg. It was the chance Izanagi was praying for. Now! His mind screamed. Kaito landed behind a static Izanagi, still in his defensive posture, and hurled a shuriken into his back. The projectile hit its mark, digging between the shoulder blades and into the spinal column. He fell, wide-eyed and mouth agape, time seeming to slow. It was over. Kaito, still smirking madly, watched with glee as Izanagi's body collapsed forward. Then, in a puff of white smoke, the body turned to a useless lump of dead wood, the shuriken buried in the dry bark - alongside a smoking and highly explosive tag. The tag hissed to life and burned for one awful moment. Then exploded.

(I'd say about 13% and there is only one small spike and two mediums no large. So far he's used about 68-70% I guess.)
Since He was still moving back the general explosion didn't really get him, but the shock from the explosion sent Kaito flying backwards and his body bounced back continously till he slammed into a rock. 'Ah damn that hurt.' Thought Kaito but his body still got up but slowly. "You think you can hurt me now!?" He asked in a crazed voice his eyes darting around looking for his opponent. This body was beaten and battered but he still moved. Kaito knew this had to be freaking out his opponent or stunning/fascinating them as to how is body is still moving. "Run away if your scared if not then face me like a true warrior!" He shouted his eyes showing a crazy thirst for blood and an insane twitching smirk on his face.
