The Meaning of Lazy

[Kira]

Kira sat on a tree branch, almost day-dreaming. Her face remained impassive as she slightly glared at the ignorant genin running around beneath the tree.

Glaring...at stranger? Well, she was almost disgusted that the bunch of genins didn't even notice her. She had made no effort to hide her chakra presence, but the three didn't notice. She guessed they were lazy, or somewhere amongst those lines.

For all they knew, she could've been an enemy shinobi sneaking in, but then of course, she could care less if they were killed.

They weren't doing anything useful for the village anyways.

tsuna walked around in the trees. as he walked by he idily swung his sword around, choopin several trees. in one tree he spotted a lady. he an up to her and satrted to shake the tree. "hay lady," he called. "lady, do you want to play a game with me? laaaaadddyyyy"

[Kira]

Kira nearly fell out of her seat as the tree started shaking. She noticed a man shaking the tree, calling her out...using 'lady'?

She glared at him, before leaping out of her comfy seat and landing right beside him. Deeply annoyed, she snapped, "What the hell is wrong with you? Are you stupid or something? And my name is Kira, not 'lady!!"

She forgot all thoughts of looking emotionless in public as she was tempted to jump the man and throw him over a cliff.

She asked herself, who in their right mind would go up to a stranger and ask them to 'play a game'?

[dudester]

"woah, ur sure r mean, la.., kira," tsuna corrected himself. "yes, i am looking for treasure," tsuna said in a mature tone. "treasure doesnt come easy, but i cant live on cheap noodles forever. it yould be nice to have a helping hand. ill split it with you, 50/50. do we have a deal?"
nghhh, 50/50? its suppost to be alot of gold, but ever tht wont last forever!

[Kira]

Kira ignored the 'mean' comment as she glared at him. Treasure..? "What are you, a pirate?"

But the thought of money interested her. After all, money was money, and she hadn't gone vacationing for a while now.

That and she hasn't paid for her own ramen in a while too. She usually relied on other people, since she was busy saving up her own money to buy the nice, black-bladed katana she'd seen at a weapon shop.

After she bought it, she'd stop relying on others, but she was still far off on being able to afford the blade. The money could help her... Sighing, she muttered, "How much is the half and half?"

[dudester]

"urk!" that question caught tsuna off guard. "umm, to be honest, i dont know," he smiled sheepishly. "but its an old family treasure map. its said that after my clan conquerd our rivals, we took all there gold and hid it, so none of us would fight over it." "tsuna looked and the map again. "um... can you read a map?"

[Kira]

"Oh dear lord..." Kira swore, exasperated. "So you go up to some random stranger and ask them to go treasure-hunting with you, like a pirate, when you don't even know how much the 'treasure' is worth?!? For all you know, that gold could only be tiny little chunks that were worth a lot back then, but are useless now!"

She sighed as she tried to calm down. Gold. Well, she hoped any kind of gold would be useful. Sighing again, she snatched the map out of the stranger's hands and stared at it.

It was filled with dotted lines and directions, like a map from a cartoon. Muttering, she asked herself out loud "I wonder if Yuchii would've been able to read it." She didn't know the girl, but she knew that Kuri and Katsuo mentioned her sometimes and talked as if she were their emotionless younger sister.

((AN: Sorry, had to add something bout Yuchii for old time's sake ))

"even two gold pieces would be nice to me", said tsuna as his stomack growled. tsuna stared of into space.
mm, i could buy a burger, or ice cream! oh the wonders of food! apple pie! nice noodles! caramel bars! thought tsuna said, drooling all over himself. he quickly snapped out of it. he wiped the drool off his mouth.
"so, doya know where the treauser is?"

[Kira]

Kira glared at Tsuna and already thought, 'I seriously wonder what kind of guy can act this un-gentleman-like to a girl. And his mind is like one of those one-track minds!'

She silently wondered that if she knew Yuchii and she met this guy, she'd be sure to flip out and attempt to kill him by now. But that, of course, was just guessing based on what she knew about the shadowy, mysterious girl that disappeared quite some time ago.

Once she was almost curious enough to ask Katsuo and Kuri what they felt about her, but they didn't seem heart-broken or anything, so she guessed that they saw or as a younger sister of some sort.

Again, she thought that the unknown girl would definitely be able to figure the odd-looking map out.

After a few more minutes of trying to figure out the map, she noticed a very small mark. Almost surprised, she gasped out, "The treasure should be somewhere in Konoha!"

((AN: Anyways, I g2g, but I'll be back in about 1.5 hours or so.))

"rly? thats not to far from here! um at least i think so," tsuna said confused. "ive just been wandering blindly for the past few days. ive been livin off of mushrooms, plants (for water), and draing passerbys life force," he said childishly. "so r we close to this treasure or not?" tsuna was excited to find a lead!

[Kira]

Kira rollled her cat-like eyes. "Baka, this IS Konoha."

She started walking through the pathway of trees that she'd come from. She knew the path well enough to keep scanning the map while ducking through every plant that could trip her of scratch her. She didn't need her eyes to look.

After walking through the bumpy, dirt path, her feet found a flatter, harder surface that she knew as concrete. She passed her block, following the messy lines of the map and two blocks away from her house, she found herself in the training grounds, in front of the big, dead tree. "X marks the spot." she murmured aloud. She didn't look back to make sure if the stranger was behind her, but she waited for him to go diving after the treasure. he couldn't have expected her to do any of the labor!

[dudester]

"ow, och, ah!" tsuna bumped into everything that crossed his path.
i should tear down this whole damn foresst, he thought.
WHACK, tsuna got hit in the face by a branch. "ow!" it left a red mark on his face.
"finally i made it out!" tsuna said gleefully. "time for the treasure!"
he dug a hole in the ground using his hands. by the time he found the treasure chest, his finger nails were gone.
"i cant open the damn box, my arms are dead."

[Kira]

Kira could feel anime sweatdrops grow on her head. The stranger looked pathetic. She didn't think he could be anymore idiotic, but he was. he dug through the soft, moist soil of the ground, ruining his fingernails in the process, and then looked at her, basically saying he was too tired to open the damn little chest containing what he said was gold.

Almost angrily, she growled, "You. Are. Pathetic." She looked at the treasure chest, noticing the rusty lock that held the lid in place. With one swift, chakra-filled kick, the small lock was broken.

She looked back at the stranger, muttering, " I refuse to get my hands dirty opening your stupid little box. You're opening it, or I'll be keeping all the treasure myself and leaving you here to decompose."

She already thought she did her fair share of work by opening the stupid chest, but she refused to get her pale hands dirty by trying to open the dirt covered chest.

[dudester]

"fine..", grumbled tsuna. he slowly opened the chest. inside was... DR. GRUMBLES! tsuna picked up the doll. "oh yeah, this is where i hid him so he would be safe. he tossed him up in the air and it made a jingle noise. "now to pay you for your troubles," said tsuna. he pulled out a ton of coins out of the doll. "i also his my life savings in Dr. Grumbles, for he has demonic power and would stop ppl from stealing my money!"

[Kira]

Kira pocketed the extra change, feeling her pocket weigh down again her waist. Silently, she grumbled, "Thanks..."

By now, she wouldn't ask for this guy's name, nor ask if he happened to have any mental problems. She would just take the money. Shut up. and be grateful.

She turned on her heel to walk away, only to crash again a hard chest.

Kuri blinked obliviously, catching his younger sister figure before she fell. "Geez Kira, you okay?" He silently eyed the stranger she seemed to be with. He could've sworn he'd seen that face before, but where...?

Kira quickly regained her balance and looked up to find Kuri, watching the so-called baka stranger intently. Silently, she held his ear in an iron grip and muttered, "Just walk away."

Kuri winced slightly at the painful grip on his poor ear, but he simply held Kira in place by her shoulders and asked aloud, "Hey, aren't you Tsuna... You knew Yuchii, right?" He remembered the time in the snowy lands, where she took home two males who started fighting. She, of course, could care less, as long as they didn't get blood stains of her "precious" carpet.

Kira's lips trembled as she giggled. Tsuna...Tuna. She waited for the stranger to respond.
