Tora pulled up the hood of her bright pink sweatshirt against the chilly wind. 'It's almost spring, why is it still so cold...,' she wondered faintly, ignoring her friend Ai babbling on beside her. The girl was rarely ever silent, and Tora would just nod her head and pretend to listen. The pessimistic teen didn't understand how in the world Ai could be so bouncy and happy all the time, it was mildly obnoxious. Meanwhile, Ai was talking about how nice it looked out. True, it did, but looks can be deceiving. "It's so sunny out, Tora!," she said brightly. "But it's so gosh darn chilly. I wish it would warm up a bit." She spun in a little circle, giggling a bit. Tora just watched with an apathetic, bored look on her face.

Haruka walked down the street, her head in her anatomy book as she did so. Her scarf was securely wrapped around her face, her coat huddled around her scrawny shoulders. She hated the cold. WHy couldn't it be done already? It was the worst time of year for her, mostly because of her illness. Suddenly, there was a hand that hit the back of her book, pushing it into her face. Someone spinning? She wasn't sure, she quickly lowered her book, her face slightly turned down. "Excuse me..." she said with a somewhat annoyed tone. Careless. SO many people were careless.

Ai looked up, her bright green eyes surprised. "Oh, I'm sorry!," she exclaimed. She giggled as she said, "I wasn't watching where I was going, I hope I didn't do any harm! I mean, I really don't like being so careless, but it's just how I am. Tora is always telling me to be more conscious, but she's just Tora." Ai's mouth ran a mile a minute as always as she tucked a lock of her blonde hair behind her ear. Tora rolled her eyes. 'Just Tora. How flattering...That girl really needs to start watching what she's doing..' She thought rather crossly of her friend, mostly the air-headedness.

haruka rolled her eyes slightly at the girls upbeat attitude. Sure, she had nothing against it, but it was still rather... Abnoxious. She gave a heavy sigh once the girl was done. "Well, sone you've done the honor introducing both yourself and you companion..." she said with a quick glance to the girl who hadn't spoken, Tora. "My name is Haruka..."

Ai smiled brightly. "Nice to meet you, Haruka-chan!," she chirped happily. "I'm sorry again for bumping you, but it's just such a pretty day out I'm just a little giddy today..." That sure was true. "I love the spring, and hopefully this clear day is a sign that it's coming!" "Hello, Haruka," Tora said, her mouth barely twitching into a smile for half a second. "Sorry about Ai, she's an airhead who gives a bad name to blondes." Tora's eyes flickered, and Ai just rolled hers.

Haruka quickly readjusted her scarf around her face, giving a slight cough as she did so. Damn weather. Damn sickness. "It's ok..." she mumbled through the fabric, closing her book. It was quite obvious she would get no more reading done today. She glanced to the girl who finally spoke up. She was a bit dull sounding, but she seemed considerate enough. "I thin the correct phrase would be she is the airhead who gives a bad name to blondes." she said with a slight grin, emphisizing.

Ai's brow furrowed slightly. "The..?," she asked. "I'm sure there's much more of us who are kinda out there and blonde, though." She waved her hand in an offhand way and smiled slightly. Tora smirked, almost snickering. The poor girl obviously didn't get it. Shoving her hands in her pockets, she murmured to Haruka, "That was a good one, though it doesn't take too much to confuse my dear friend Ai here." There was only a touch of sarcasm in her voice. Ai narrowed her eyes at Tora and sniffed indignantly. "That wasn't very nice." Tora raised an eyebrow, but was otherwise expressionless. "Have you met me?"

(I'm sorry i haven't posted. I kind of spaced about this rp!)
Haruka shrugged slightly, a light smirk decorating her face he she gave a thankful nod to Tora. But, Ai quickly caught on to her whispering and retorted quickly. IT was strange, and honeslty, Haruka could not put her finger on the reason that these two would hang together, why they would be friends. She sighed heavily. "Well, I'm sure we all have blonde moments..." she said, deciding to give Ai a bit of the benefit of the doubt. "Even people people like me... the furthest things from blonde..."

Ai's bright smile returned. "Yeah, I know," she said. "But I don't think Tora has those moments, 'cause she's so...Tora-ish." Ai almost giggled at her new word. Tora rolled her eyes. "Tora-ish...," she said. "So I'm an adjective now? Great." Her voice was filled with her signature sarcasm. The wind tugged at her pink-and-black hair, and Tora pulled up her hood with a shiver. "I wish it would get warm already...," she said slightly crossly. Ai nodded. "Seriously, I miss the days of tank tops and warmth and swimming and sun!"
