Ai impatiently blew a small lock of her blonde hair out of her face. She wanted something to do, she didn't want to just sit around among the boring trees like Tora was so content doing. She loved her best friend, but she wished Tora would get out there and have fun more. "Toooooorrrrraaaaaa," Ai whined. Tora looked up from lovingly rubbing her kitty, Rai. "What, Ai?," she said flatly. "I'm bored!" "Your point?" "Let's go do something!" Tora sighed. "Do we have to?" "Yes." Tora got up, lifting Rai onto her shoulder. "And just what do you suggest, Ai?," she asked, though she knew that her friend had no idea. "Ummm....," Ai started. "I...I...Don't know..." Tora smirked, leaning against a tree. "Thought so." The two opposites stood there, Ai waiting for something to spike her interest, Tora not caring.

Zeyd jumped from tree to tree bored, he looked around for someone but couldnt find anyone, he looked forward and sighed a bit, he kept jumping until. SLIP. he fell off a tree and right on top of the blonde haired girl, he got up quickly a little scared, "Sorry!" he said helping her up then noticed the other girl with the cat, "Cute cat.." he said with a straight face and hoped the blonde girl wasnt too mad.

Ai gasped as someone landed on her. She was momentarily stunned, then she felt a hand pull her up. She came face-tp-face with a boy, who was apologizing. She blinked. "Uh...It's okay," she said, twirling a lock of her blonde hair by reflex.
Tora leapt up at once, dropping Rai by instinct. She was in a defensive position, seeing as someone had just dropped out of the trees and landed on her best friend. Rai hissed, his fur bristling by the disturbance. "Cute Cat," he said, and she relaxed a bit. She couldn't sense anything in his voice, so he might not mean any harm.

Zeyd smiled again and bowed, he turned and started to walk away but then turned back, "Do either of you know the way back to Konoha?" he asked blushing a little from embarassment and rubbing the back of his head slightly, "I hear the ramen is good there at a place named Ichirabus or something." he finished.

Ai's face brightened. "Yeah, we know how to get back!," she said cheerily, skipping forward to where the boy was. "We live there, so we could join you and show you the way back, right Tora?"
Tora bent down briskly to scoop Rai into her arms, then walked forward slowly. "Yeah, I guess so," she said gruffly. "And the name is Ichiraku, and the ramen there is quite delicous." Rai mewed in agreement, he loved to have the little bits of shrimp that Mr. Ichiraku always layed out for him.
"Anyways, my name's Ai, and that's Tora!," Ai said, holding out her hand. Tora just looked kind of spacey, she wasn't good with people.

Zeyd shook her hand smiling, "Thanks" he said to both of them and waited for them to start walking back to Konoha, he looked around and didnt know how they would know the way with all these trees in the way, he saw no buildings, no signs of life besides them or nothing.

Ai held onto Zeyd's hand, and led him through the trees for about seven minutes, until they reached a thin path that snaked it's way through the woods. Tora followed behind quietly, petting Rai as he purred.
"How'd you get yourself out this far, person?," Ai asked. She still hadn't learned his name.
Tora didn't mind this new person, he didn't talk much, and Tora liked that. She didn't mind silence, no matter how much Ai loved to chatter.

Zeyd got confused, Person? "I..dont know.." he said sighing a bit, "And im Zeyd." he said turning his head back a little bit to the left, he watched the trees go by as everyone walked, he yawned a bit and cracked his neck a little, he moved his hair out of his eyes before turning back to look forward.

Ai smiled. "Nice to learn your name, Zeyd!," she said. "I like that name....Zeyd....Hehe...Zeyd. What brings you to Konoha, anyways? It can't be just the ramen, right?," she asked.
Tora spoke up. "It can damn straight be the ramen!," she insisted indignantly. Tora absolutely loved Ichiraku's ramen, it was her favorite treat. Although, Tora was a health nut, and she only allowed herself the ramen occasionally.

Zeyd looked back at Tora a little, "Eh..I did want the ramen..im actually just moving here" he said moving more hair out of his eyes, I gotta get all this hair cut.. he thought sighing a bit, "Whats there to do in Konoha?" he asked both of them moving more [/i] hair out of his eyes.

Ai brightened. "Oh, you're moving here?," she asked excitedly. "That's great! Maybe we'll get to hang out more." She winked at Zeyd as he tossed his hair out of his eyes yet again.
Tora rolled her eyes discreetly. 'There goes Ai, flirting with anyone male within a mile radius....,' she thought. 'And either that boy needs a haircut, or he's got a complex of touching his hair.'

Zeyd smiled a little, "That'd be nice" he said with a little blush but it was hardly recognizable, he kept smiling for a minute not even realizing he was then went back to a straight face, his usual face, he couldnt think of anything to say so he waited for once of them to say something, he was enjoying the silent but it got boring sometimes y'know.

Ai grinned as Zeyd agreed. "It's a date," she said cheerfully. She had really taken to this boy, in the short amount of time that she had known him. She sincerely hoped that they would be able to hang out more.
Tora rolled her eyes, but she stifled the scoff that threatened to burst out. All this flirty mumbo-jumbo made Tora queasy. She wasn't good with relationships herself, and she didn't like being touched by anyone else at all. She just didn't like people all that much.
The path widened out after a while, and Ai skipped forward. "Weeeee'reeeee heeeerrreeeee," she sang, stopping by a road.

Zeyd smiled a little and stopped beside Ai and scanned the area with his eyes carefully, Something doesnt feel right he thought scratching the back of his head, he looked around a bit more then convinced himself that whatever it/he/she was had left them alone, but he still kept his guard up for now.

Ai walked backwards, facing Zeyd. "So, we headed to Ichiraku's first?," she asked him. "Or do you have somewhere else in mind first?" She wanted to be a good guide, so she wanted to know if there was any more places he wanted to be shown to in Konoha.
The hairs on the back of Tora's neck prickled. Something was off, and she felt the hairs on Rai's back stand up. Animals had a good account of when something wasn't quite right. Quietly, she said, "Did anyone else sense that?"
Ai blinked. "Naw, nothing I sensed, Tora."
