A deep sigh came from the young girls mouth. Hishime swung her leg over the edge of the roof she was sitting on, and looked at the people on the street. She was out late again, so there weren’t much people on the street. She sighed again and picked up the half full sake bottle, which stood next to her, and took another sip.
“I tried to kill the pain, but only brought more..” Hishime sang quietly to herself (Evanescence - Tourniquet), “I lay dying, and I’m pouring crimson regret and betrayal..” She took another sip of the sake bottle. “I’m dying, praying, bleeding, and screaming..” She stopped singing for a moment and took a deep breath. “Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My God, my tourniquet, return to me salvation..” She stopped again as someone walked by.
“My God, my tourniquet, return to me salvation. Do you remember me? Lost for so long. Will you be on the other side, or will you forget me?” Another person walked by, but this time, she didn’t stop singing. “I’m dying, praying, bleeding and screaming..” She took another sip of sake before continuing again. “Am I too lost to be saved? Am I too lost? My God my tourniquet, return to me salvation. My God my tourniquet, return to me salvation..” She took another sip, and started to sing a little louder. “My wounds cry for the grave, my soul cries for deliverance. Will I be denied? Christ, my tourniquet, my suicide..”
After she finished the song, she took another sip of sake. She had been sitting here for a while now, and she realized that noone had noticed her presence. Nor did she care. Who would care for a crazy 15 year old, now nearly drunk, girl? As far as she knew, noone did. She wished that she could go back in time, she wanted to start over again. But she knew that wasn’t possible. So, she just sat there, drinking sake, and watching random people passing by.

Haru was walking through the moonlit streets. He smelled a faint smell of sake, and his senses told him that it was coming from above, a rooftop. He looked up, and saw a girl about his younger sister's age drinking from a bottle of sake. She was singing a song he'd heard before, coming from Kyo's room, most likely. He called out, "What are you doing up there? You look a little young to be drinking."

Hishime looked down, noticing an unfamiliar presence. As she saw the boy, she just stared at him, not replying at his words. She slowly took another sip of sake. ‘Like you care..’ she thought to herself, not wanting to speak to him. She took another sip, and just continued to look at him. ‘Like anyone cares..’ She decided it would be better to reply to him, no matter in what way, so she just shrugged her shoulders.

Haru continued to look at her, his gaze sharpening as she just bluntly shrugged her shoulders. He nimbly jumped up onto the the roof a few yards away from her. Then he plucked the sake bottle from her hands and threw it behind him. The bottle gave a satisfying high-pitched shatter. Haru looked at her. "People your age shouldn't be drinking, girl," he said. "Though I'm not much older than you, I know that."

Hishime looked at the boy as he jumped onto the roof. Her gaze quickly turned into a glare as he took the sake bottle and threw it away. She stood up slowly and walked up to the boy. She sighed deeply before crying out, “WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?!!?” She gave him another death glare and raised her hand. She slapped him hard in the face. She knew that this was a little too much, but she didn’t care at the moment.

Haru flinched a bit as the girl's loud voice bit into his sensitive eardrums. He then flinched even more as her hand came up and slapped him across the face. Haru yelped a bit in pain, then fingered the red mark on his throbbing cheek. He gave the ticked-off girl a withering look, then demanded in a loud, harsh voice, "What the hell was that for?!" Then he decided to answer her question, no matter how rude the girl was being to him. "I, unlike you, have no problem," he said seethingly. "Of course, you're half drunk, so you probably won't be able to process what I'm saying." He smirked an arrogent smirk.

Hishime smirked a little as she saw that his cheek was all red. She gave him another glare before replying to his ‘question’. “That!” she almost yelled again, and pointed at the shattered bottle. “I do not have a problem” she said, getting very angry at this boy. ‘Gosh, thins guy’s so annoying..’ she thought angrily. “Well, I may be half drunk, but I’m not stupid.” She crossed her arms, and out of anger, she gave him a look that said ‘go to hell’. She didn’t feel like saying it, she knew that he would be able to get the massage.

Haru just looked at her in disbelief. "You hit me," he started. "Because I destroyed your alcoholic drink?" Then, unable to contain himself and his laid-back funny nature, he burst out laughing. After a few minutes of mindless mirth and laughter, Haru wiped some laughing tears from his eyes and looked at the girl seriously. "But seriously," he said, not joking around anymore, ignoring the 'Go to hell' look she was giving him. "Girls your age shouldn't be drinking. It's not good for you, dude." Haru crossed his arms, adding a slight glare of his own.

Hishime just raised an eyebrow as Haru burst out laughing. She didn’t know if she should get more angry at him, or just think that he was just another idiot. She placed her hands on her hips, “Do I care?” she asked, actually more to herself then to him, “Hmm, let me think..” She paused for a few seconds. “No, I don’t.” “I don’t care if its not good for me, or if I’m, as you say, “too young” to be drinking.” Hishime gave the boy another death glare and took a step forward, leaving about 2 feet between them. “And you shouldn’t care either.”

"Peh." Haru looked down at the girl in an irritated way. "You should care," he said. "I don't care if you don't care, you shouldn't be doing stuff like that." Haru swiftly sat down at the edge of the roof, looking up at the night sky. "And you're a ninja, right?," he asked, though he probably already knew the answer. "Ninja need to be on their best the whole time. You never know when there'll be an attack on you." Then he sighed. "You remind me a lot of my little sister. You got the same smart-a$$ attitude." Haru muttered the last sentence.

Hishime just rolled her eyes in annoyance. “I shouldn’t be doing stuff like that? Says who?” she asked rudely and crossed her arms.
“Who the hell are you to tell me what I can and what I cant do?!” the young girl practically yelled the last part at the older boy. “Yes, I’m a ninja. So what? The fact that I drink, doesn’t mean that I’m not ready for battle!”
Hishime quickly looked away from the boy, afraid that she might hit him again, and took a deep breath, trying to calm down a little.
“You have no right to talk to me like that.”

Haru chuckled a bit, then started laughing out loud. "I'm right. Losing your temper easily. You're a LOT like Kyo..." He looked at her seriously. "I say you shouldn't be doing stuff like that. And I'm totally awesome. So there." The teen snorted a bit, thinking about something. "Besides, you're what, 15? And I'm 17. So respect your elders." Haru laughed a bit more. He was in a good mood that night, and he didn't need some little half-drunk girl ruining his mood. He told her this, and then looked up into the sky as the light breeze played with his longish red hair. "And I may not have a right to talk to you like that, but I do anyway, because I'm such an arrogent arse." ((OOC: Well, at least he's honest...))

Hishime flinched at this last comment. Her anger slowly reaching the maximum point; an actually deadly point. In one motion, she reached for the boy’s collar and pulled him towards herself. She looked him straight in the eyes, glaring daggers.
“I suggest you leave now, unless you want to break every single bone in your body.” She said coldly. “I’ll give you one more chance to run, if you do not take this opportunity, I guarantee you that you will regret it.”
After a few more seconds, she let go of the boy’s collar and pushed him backwards violently. Again, she glared at him. If look could truly kill, this guy would be lying on the ground in a large puddle of blood.
“It’s your choice.” The kunoichi said. She wasn’t in the mood to fight in the middle of the night, but it seems like this guys was in need of extra attention.

Haru put up his hands in exasperation. "Look, I didn't mean to piss you off so much," he said honestly. "I don't mean to make you angry, I just make a lot of sarcastiv comments. No need for violence here, and I am really not in the mood to fight right now." He sighed. He really wasn't in the mood, since he had just been training hard all day. He was slightly tired, though he didn't show it. "Anyways, you just need to lighten up a bit," he said softer, trying to calm her down before she murdered him. "Well, anyways, I'm Haru. You might know my annoying little sister, Kyo."

On another rooftop was Yuki, who was trying to sleep. He sat up and glared at them
"Can you please keep it down, I’m trying to sleep" Yuki said angrily “and all of your shouting is keeping me awake.” He slumped back down on to the roof. “And if she wants to drink you have no right to stop her. We all have a reason for what we do. Like I bet she has a hell of a good reason to drink. Right kid?”
He stared at her waiting for her to reply. *she better not make me a liar*
OCC: I hope you don't mind me joining in?
