Haru wandered aimlessly through the streets of Konoha, even though he'd much rather be home doing something else. He had left the house in an irritated cloud of angry-ness, as his two younger siblings had picked this day to be insufferable idiots. He expected as much from Kyo, but not so much from Taru. Taru was more responsible than Kyo. The pair had decided to pull the mattress from the spare bedroom, and slide down the stairs on it. 'It probably came from Kyo forcing us to watch that princess diary movie thing the other night...,' Haru thought. Poor Haru had just been walking from the living room to the kitchen, in front of the stairs, and he had gotten flattened by a runaway mattress with two teenagers on it. Of course, he had done a good bit of yelling, and then left. And now he was left wandering alone, not wanting to go home to them.

After a series of twists and turns, our hero Kimiyu was dead lost in Konoha. She'd only been there once before, and she had not managed to memorize each street of the bustling village. Kimi could not help but think that Konoha was so impudent in its ways, unlike her precious village. The Sand was much more calm, so much easier to navigate. No matter. Kimiyu could easily find her way. Maybe she could charm someone into helping her... "Oof!" I small, squeak of a grunt came out of Kimi's stomach. No, she wasn't hungry, and that was definitely human. She looked down. It was a small girl with blond hair and wide, scared blue eyes. She apologized quickly and ran off. Kimiyu shrugged it off.
Yuu walked away hurriedly, horribly embarrassed. She'd bumped straight into a second person, and she could only watch her feet in petty shame. She wasn't paying attention at all, so she tripped and tumbled, as only a clumsy 10 year old could, on a teen-aged boy. She looked up, startled, and almost started crying.
(The boy is Haru... I forgot what he looked like. ^^''')

"Whoa!," Haru exclaimed as a little girl crashed into him. She looked up at him, startled, with tears in her wide eyes. Haru certainly didn't want her to start crying, that would be disastrous. Running a hand through his red hair, he blinked his green eyes a few times, and looked at her. "Hey, you okay?," he asked, kneeling down to her height. He normally didn't like kids, but he couldn't stand tears. "Don't cry or anything, it's okay..." Haru was slightly flustered. He wasn't good with kids, and especially crying kids. The 17-year-old ninja patted the girl on the head gingerly, not really sure of what to do. He glanced around a bit, looking for someone who may have assisted him. 'I should have stayed home..,' he thought, furrowing his eyebrows slightly.

Yuu stared at Haru with wide eyes. She blinked a few times, taking in the sight of him. She hadn't thought he would stop, just shove her away like they all did. Or she would run away. However, now that he said something to her, she was rooted to ground by the sheer force of his eyes. He looked worried. About her? Why would he do that? She found her self blushing more than usual and saying something like 'I'm sorry!' but sounded more like a small sob. Yuuko squeezed her eyes shut from embarrassment, causing a small tear to slip out of her watery eyes.
Kimiyu had decided to follow the girl. It was a spur of the moment thing, just like coming to Konoha wither her brother was. She just did. But before she could catch up to the little kid, she saw the kid bump into someone else, and when she finally did catch up, she saw the girl crying and a boy that looked a little younger than herself. So, she did the first thing she could think of. She whacked the red-head with her book.

The little girl apologized to him. Haru smiled at her. "Don't sweat it. But make sure you watch where you're going next time, okay?," he asked. And then he groaned as a tear dripped from the little girl's eye. "Ohhh don't cry!," he said, pulling a handkerchief out of his pocket and handing it to her. Haru always carried a handkerchief with him, it had belonged to his dad, who still fully believed that everyone should carry one around. He had gotten this notion from his father, and then him from his father, and so on and so on. Suddenly..
THWAK!
Haru was nailed in the side of the head by something pretty hard. "Ow!," he exclaimed rubbing his head and glaring in the direction that the blow came from. he saw a girl a little older than himself. "What was that for?!," he snapped, looking extremely irritated. Now he REALLY wished he had stayed home.

Yuu smiled. She took the handkerchief bashfully. She was about to say her thanks, but she was interrupted when he was hit in the head. Yuuko gave a startled gasp and stumbled backwards, imminently relapsing in silence.
"What are you doing, you jerk!?" shouted Kimiyu. She stood, flushed with anger and ready to strike again is she so as well pleased. She gave a huff and continued, "How could you make a little girl cry?"

Haru stood up, drawing himself up to his full height, which was 6'2". He stood quite a bit taller than her, by a long shot. "I didn't make her cry, you idiot!," he yelled. He took a deep breath, and looked significantly less intimidating as he calmed down a bit. "She ran into me, and started crying. I was trying to calm her down when you so rudely came up and smacked me for no reason!!" Haru glared at her intensely, he was not in a good mood to begin with. "If anyone's gonna scare her it's you, for randomly hitting and screaming at people!"

Kimiyu stood straight, too. Though she was only 5'5 and 8 inches shorter than this guy, she held his gaze icily. Now that he'd explained, she was only threatened by the way he glared at her, which was certainly not any reason to hit him again. She dignified herself in a way that only a strong, beautiful girl could. Then, changing her outlook completely to the girl who'd mothered her brother, she turned to Yuu. "Is this true?"
Yuu nodded, still scared and slightly hiding behind Haru.
"Well fine then. It was a misunderstanding." She looked down her nose at Haru, though she was tiny in his wake. She pulled her long, black hair into a scrunchy, something she only did when she was preparing for battle. "I suppose you could forget this happened, but because you seem kind of... aggravated, I could take you both to get a treat?" Kimi would've willingly took the little girl everywhere, as cute as she was. She was only offering to the boy because she didn't think he'd let it drop.

Haru was reluctant to let the matter drop, but he just said frostily, "Exactly why you should get the whole story before taking action." He softened slightly. "Depends," he said, his voice still mildly cool. "What kind of treat?," he said, still slightly wary of this girl. She could hit, that's for sure. Haru's head still stung slightly. Haru looked down at the little girl. "You wanna go get a little treat?," he asked her. He was beginning to get a bit fond of her. She was like the little sister he wished he had, totally unlike his loud, obnoxious, insane actual little sister. "By the way, my name's Haru," he said, addressing them both.

Kimiyu sighed exasperatedly. It didn't matter now, did it? She'd hit him and now it was over. Somewhat sarcastically, she said, "Maybe some dango or sushi for the girl and a some spiked tea for you?" Like he had to take so much caution. "Seriously, though. I'm not going to poison you or something. What do you want? I'm not hungry," Toshi repeatedly teased Kimiyu about her eating habits. Or rather, lack of. She hardly ever ate. It was one of those things that she felt was a waste of time.
Yuu was relaxing. They both seemed pretty docile, though still likely to snap. And the thought of going to eat made her happy. She rarely did this. Not that she was complaining. They just never had time since her father died, which was right after she was born. "My n-name is Yuuko. You can c-call me Yuu."
Kimiyu smiled warmly at Yuuko. "That's perfect!" she said, relating to the 'Gentle Child' meaning of Yuu's name. She then introduced herself. "Ok. You guys lead the way." She added, putting up her hands in a way of surrendering. "I don't even live here,"

Haru scowled slightly, he was not in a good mood, because of recent events.... Haru started walking along, motioning for them to follow. Then he stopped, looking around thoughtfully. "Any idea where you want to go?," he asked. "An idea of what you want to eat, there's a number of places I know of." He shoved his hands in his pockets, and turned his face towards the sky, shaking his red hair out of his eyes. He squinted in the sun. Haru then remembered something. "You done with my handkerchief yet, Yuu?," he asked the little girl, looking at her. He supposed he had stopped crying by now, but you never know with shy little girls.
