ooc; FOR KEIKO ONLY! NO INVITATION NO REPLYING
bic; It was the thrill of the city that brought his lone footsteps mingeling with those of strangers. Mika pushed past innocent passerbys, brushing shoulders with men and women of all ages. He didn't know where he was going, but he was searching for something. The boy didn't know where it was, but his footsteps had lead him into the heart of Konoha. The busiest time of day in the busiest part of the Village, the ninja was among those he didn't even want to deal with to find something. Something that was still unknown to him.
With a few misbalanced steps Mika was able to free his body from the sea of zombie-like citizens and over to the curb. He sat with his hands behind his head, leaning back and sighing. His eyes caught the clear sky, making him close his eyes and feel the late sun's warmth against his face. Grinning, the boy's eyelids lifted, revealing warm brown eyes. Shifting positions again, Mika heard his stomach growl and groaned himself, folding his arms across his abdomen to try and muffle the hunger cries.

Kimiyu shoved through the herd of villagers. If she had picked any other place, Kimiyu felt that she'd be enjoying her vacation. Well, it's not that Konoha was a bad place. It was great, really, just greatly populated. She found herself, grace and all, tripping over people's feet and other objects on the ground. It wasn't like Kimiyu to go tripping. She usually was a graceful gazelle. As Kimiyu struggled, she felt her sandal slip off her foot, and her toes being trampled.
She winced, feeling the searing pain run up her foot. She grew immensely angry, shoved a bunch of people away, and bent to retrieve her sandal. After she had put her sandal on, she glared at anything and everything that moved. She couldn't help but think, "What is wrong with this place?" she pushed her way out, and plopped next to someone absently. She rubbed her still aching toes, and whimpered a bit.
"Konoha is not the best vacation spot," she mumbled.

Immediately hearing the presence of another human beside him, Mika turned to them quickly, noticing it was a female. Trying to hide a grin, the boy brought his hands to the back of his head once more and tried to act cool. He closed his eyes and smiled smoothly, trying to act like he didn't notice she was there. Her voice hit his eardrums and the boy couldn't help but open one eye to peer at her, noticing the girl aiding her foot.
Trying not to interfere right away, Mika shifted on the curb, moving a tiny bit closer and coughed quietly, hoping she'd notice him. The ninja always believed if they talked first it could ease his nerves and that could possibly lead into a decent conversation with a female. He sure hadn't had one of those in a while.

Kimiyu took her hand from her foot, and sat. She stared at the passing people. She couldn't believe how crowded it was. Her own village never got this crowded. She heard someone give a cough beside her and almost snorted. She side-glanced at th person, noticing that it was a boy, around her age.
She almost immediately recognized him as a lost puppy. "Even in this place, huh?" she asked herself. His whole 'act cool' thing was about as transparent as glass. She sighed, decided to start off with a snap. "You know, it's rude to not cover your mouth when you cough," snapped Kimiyu, saying it in a matter-of-fact way.

Her response was too familiar to Mika, he could already see the conversation going downhill. Trying not to show his disappointment, the boy acted as he always did. Flashing a wide smile showing off his white teeth, Mika closed his eyes and tightened his arms. He then began scratching the back of his head with one hand will chuckling slightly, "O-oh really?" he responded, keeping the same pose.
"Heh, sorry!" he exclaimed, shrugging and opening one eye again. Covering his teeth with his lips again, the boy smiled sweetly. His beaming face shown no hint of offense, to Kimiyu and none taken to himself. Being rejected so many times, Mika seemed to build up an immunity to harsh girls and destructive rejections.

Kimiyu glared at him a bit. As he nervously scratched his head, and tried to appear unharmed, she sighed. She debated apologizing. "What harm could it do?" she thought. Seconds later, she realized all the harm it could do. For one, he could think she was being nice because she thought he was cute. She pondered more about this.
"What the hell," she murmured, inaudible. "Look," she began again, sighing. "Sorry. I'm having a terrible day. First, I choose the most crowded place for vacation. Then, I get shoved around. Then, I loose my shoe and my toes get smashed, and finally, here I am, probably seeming like a jerk to some sweet guy who only wants to show some hospitality."
Kimiyu took a deep breath. "And to make up for it," She paused, wondering what she would do. She checked out his looks while she thought, and she noticed he was slightly cute. In a dorky way, but kind of good-looking. "I'll buy you lunch," she finished.

Getting excited, Mika knew this was the farthest he got with a pretty girl but also knew he couldn't blow it. Retreating his hands to his knees, the boy shifted again. His eyes were wide and bright as she spoke, praying for some positive words to escape from her lips. Glad she was being more cooperative than before, the male grinned warmly with the feeling of success.
"Vacation huh?" he began rather slowly, fiddling with his Konoha headband for a few seconds while peering down at his feet.
Looking down at the girl's feet, Mika frowned then brought his gaze up to her face. Grateful for the compliment, the ninja grinned once more and kept his kind expression. He then lightly put his hand atop his stomach as it growled once more. Side-grinning sheepishly, Mika nodded, stretching his grin.
"That'd be great thanks!" he returned happily, standing up and stretching his arms with a yawn. "Oh by the way, what's your name?" he paused, "I'm Mika," with that the boy stretched out a hand for her to take, he really doubted she would actually take his offer, but the boy with full of kind gestures, not wanting to ruin his chances. She was pretty.

"Yes, vacation. I'm actually here for the Sakura Festival. After that, I'm heading back home, to Suna," she replied to his little question.
Kimiyu heard his stomach growl. "Looks like I came in the nick of time, huh?" she said jokingly. She glanced at her feet again, the pain had finally stopped. She smiled, relieved. She then stood up, straightened out her skirt, brushed off some blades of grass, and smiled at Mika.
"I'm Kimiyu. I guess you can call me Kimi." she said, taking his hand and shaking it a bit. She let go and glanced around the area. "So, where do we eat?" she asked, totally lost.

'Sakura Festival.' As he heard the words Mika swallowed hard, he still didn't have anyone to accompany him to the festival despite the act he puts on as a 'ladies man.' Mika figured if he couldn't find a date then he wouldn't go, then again he thought that there would never be a chance he wouldn't find a date in time. Unfortunately that was the case and the boy continued to sport a nervous expression.
"Yeah I guess," he responded cheerfully, looking down at his stomach before returning his gaze to her eyes. When she touched his hand Mika immediately prayed inside his head that he wasn't sweating, his hand flopped as she released and the boy's eyes sparkled.
"There's thousands of places!" Mika offered, stepping completely on the curb and beginning to walk down the sidewalk opposite the flow of people. He looked back at her and smiled warmly, encouraging her to follow him, "just depends what you like I guess."

Kimiyu hadn't a 'date' either. She really had expected to come with her brother Toshi, but turned out he got sick. She wasn't going to drag him to Konoha. She only showed the real, sweet Kimiyu to her brother. He wasn't technically her brother, but they had been raised together as siblings.
Kimiyu didn't follow Mika. She just had to look at the crowd to feel her poor toes. She sighed a bit as he smiled warmly at her. Her face took the emotion of irritated, but it passed, and replacing it was her own warm smile. "How about a little teahouse? Or maybe a dumpling shop! I love dumplings," She followed him into the crowd, swearing that anyone who stepped on her toes would soon be writing out their will.
It was an empty threat, but she still cursed when someone's big boot brushed against her leg.

Disappointed at her first look of irratation, Mika slowed his pace, but was more than happy when she came alone. Hearing her words made his heart skip. Mika himself was a huge fan of dumplings, more of an addict. His brown eyes continued to sparkle as he nodded, flashing his teeth again.
"Dumplings sounds great!" he said with a laugh, taking a sudden right turn down a dirt road through two apartment complexes. It was one of his many shortcuts, and all the boy knew was this certain one lead to many different varieties of shops, mostly sweets.
Once the delicious scent of dumplings wafted their way, Mika licked his lips and slowed down to savour the smell as they walked.

Kimi smiled. "Dumplings it is," she decided, keeping her smile on her lips.
Kimiyu shadowed his footsteps as they crossed through the village. She was pretty silent through the trip. She mostly observed her surroundings, putting the streets and roads to her memory for later use. It was interesting. The kunoichi had observed that they weren't taking the main roads, which had made her silently grateful to Mika.
When he slowed, she slowed, still behind him. The smell of the sweet dumplings fluttered into her nose, and she couldn't help taking in a deep breath full of the wonderful smells. Once the shop was in sight, it took most of Kimiyu's self-restraint not to jump for joy. Instead, she just rushed to the shop.
In the shop, she sat at a little table for two. Her chair faced his. She waited for him to take his seat, then she'd order.

ooc; A thousand sorries for the lateness TT^TT Oh and really nice post :3 Mine however is crappy AGAIN, sorry D:
bic; Relieved at Kimiyu's excitement to eat, Mika hurried after the girl into the small shop and manuevered around customers and tables to reach their own. The boy sat down and sighed, looking straight at Kimiyu. He scratched the back of his head and gazed around, searching for a waiter he could call out.
Finally spotting one the boy lifting his hand, two fingers raised and turned his chair around, screeching as he did so, "Oi! Can we get some service?" he called, waving his arm and locking eye contact with the waitress who immediately padded over.
Smiling at the kunoichi, Mika peered at her, gesturing for her to order first.

Kimiyu waited for the waitress to come to their table before she ordered an apple dumpling and some tea. After wards, she waited politely for Mika to order and then asked, "So, uhm," she struggled to think of a interesting thing to say, or a good question to ask.
"I give," she said after a moment of racking her brain for something. "You do the talking. I'm having a blond moment."
